Nice and friendly staff, clean & neat place. Enough sitting & parking space. Delicious food!!!

Crab puffs with tasty sauce
Kristine M.

Smells wonderful upon entering which is always a great sign! You order at the counter and eat inside or on the patio. Booths inside were pretty hard. The ambience is super plain. They offer a reward program. Chopsticks or forks. Nice music, very quiet on a Thursday at 12:30. I had the crab puffs nice and crunchy! The milk tea and DanDan noodles. HUGE portions!! HUGE. The noodles had a nice lil kick to them. Very flavorful. I have that cilantro tasted like soap gene but it was easy enough to scoop it right out. The staff was very sweet and helpful. They have self serve to go boxes in the corner to left of registers. Will definitely come again. Nice edition to the neighborhood :)

Pickled greens are a must with every order for me!

Just as great as the location on Grant, just with much more seating!! Forever obsessed with Noodleholics. Try adding a side of pickled greens to your dish, my new favorite thing to add. My go tos are the Sizzling Garlic, mild (it still has plenty of spice!), with BBQ pork and/or crispy pork belly. Sometimes I switch it up for the Guillin spicy and sour sub wheat noodles with BBQ Pork and Crispy Pork. Don't sleep on the kids noodles! Huge portion for your little one. Also probably great if you are fighting a cold and could use a good simple soup. My partner and I also love to share the egg rolls. :)

Ordered for pickup. Got the sichuan beef, house wonton, chaoshu dumplings, cucumber garlic salad and chicken egg rolls. Now I'm trying to recreate that salad lol IT WAS SO GOOD!! Me and my husband were fighting over the dumplings with chili oil. Yum. Finally got to use my ramen bowl Christmas present from a coworker! Thanks Noodleholics!

Pork belly rice plate

There were plenty of seating at this location. We ordered at the counter & our food came out pretty quickly. Our meals came out before the wings. It was too hot out for soup for me, so I had the pork belly plate. My daughter ordered the Dan Dan noodles which is usually dry, but theirs was like a soup. I their salt & pepper wings here, crispy and juicy. They checked on us a few times while we were eating. I like how they have the to-go containers available for us to grab ourselves.

So delicious! This has been our regular go yo spot when we dine out. The portions are huge and the food is amazing. They have never let us down. Even have grabbed take out and it still was good. The restaurant is a nice size and the staff were super friendly.

Dandan soup with ground pork

Several varieties of rich flavored soups with hearty meat and vegetables and perfectly textured rice noodles. Crab puffs and dumplings were also on par with great flavor. The soup portions are enormous, which was a nice surprise. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Only downside for this family is that there isn't a soda fountain, but they do have some bottled options. Restaurant was very clean and tables were cleared up quickly as people left. Lots of seating.

Our favorite is the Guilin noodle soup. I love the pickled long beans as well. Door dash can bring your Noodleholics cravings right to your door. They separate the broth from the noodles, which I appreciate. This location is very clean and not usually that busy inside. The staff is always friendly and happy to answer questions. Delicious fresh food that warms your soul. Portions are huge, you will likely have leftovers.

Clean! Friendly! Nice larger place than the Grant Road location. Ordered the Guilin with wheat noodles. The noodles were fresh and wonderful. Bbq pork excellent. Plenty of parking on side.

TAIWAN BEEF with wheat noodles.

It was my first time here. I didn't know what to get, but the nice lady in front helped me out every step of the way. The wonderful broth aromas hit you as soon as you walk in. Love the friendly staff and the food. Very filling! They even have microwavable to-go containers on the way out. Will definitely come back to try more dishes.

I love this restaurant so much - their food is so delicious and service is very friendly…read more Definitely in my top 3 Tucson restaurants. I go here for the vegetarian and vegan options - they have a lot of great house-made faux meats. I often get the "chicken" chow mein with crispy pan fried noodles - a childhood comfort food for me that actually tastes better than I remember from my childhood. Lots of veggies in addition to the faux chicken. Egg rolls and soups are great too. My husband has gotten Mapo Tofu (meat-based) and says its the best he's ever had.

The shrimp tempura is light and crisp. The beef kabobs are well flavored and cooked crispy, which is an interesting and yummy presentation, The ribs are large and flavorful. The crab puffs are amazing! We could have eaten ten of them; a crisp outside is stuffed with a melting cheesy crab mixture. Divine! House -made Chinese mustard (so good and really clears out the sinuses!) and sweet dipping sauces completed the appetizers. I've reviewed our entrees before and they are as delicious as always. I had the Three Delight Moo Shu, a platter filled with fresh vegetables, shrimp, and chicken; accompanied by sauce (hoisin?) and rice pancakes. I enjoy making my little "burrito" bites! My dining friend had the Mongolian Three Delight; shrimp, chicken, and beef prepared with at least three kinds of onions and a mildly spicy sauce, and a large bowl of rice. My friend has a spice-loving palate, and was brought a bowl of hot chili sauce. Visible pepper flakes floated in the sauce and it was pronounced perfect. I love being greeted by name and the food is scrumptious. Golden House is immaculate throughout and it is a pleasure to visit and enjoy their food. See you next month, Ming!

We got an array of standard fare as well as some things that I don't normally see on menus of other Chinese restaurants around town. The dumplings were good, though I was underwhelmed by the lack of spice on the Spicy Pork wonton dumplings. The flavor was very good, but it was not spicy at all. For entrees, we got Curry Chicken and Cumin Lamb. I'd never had Cumin Lamb before, and it rocketed to the top of my favorites list! It was gorgeously flavorful, fragrant, and spicy, warming as I ate. The spiced oil soaked into the rice, spreading the flavor to every last grain. It's really lovely and I highly recommend it. The restaurant is bigger than it appears from the outside, with a bright, cheerful ambience. Despite being busy, it never felt too loud, which was nice. The servers worked as a team and were very attentive. It was a great meal!

Food: (4/5) Hummingbird nest or something like that:(4/5) It's a bit bland, but it has a good variety of shrimp, scallops, snow peas, and other vegetables on a crispy shell. Good low sodium option in my opinion. Walnut shrimp: (3/5) I'm not the biggest fan of sweet and salty foods, but it was pretty savory and crunchy despite the sauce. Pork intestines: (5/5) These were so crispy and oily. The spicy aroma from the peppers also isn't that unpleasant. Overall a very oil heavy dish and just as delicious. I did order another dish, but it wasn't that outstanding and I forgot the name of it. Service: (5/5) Water refills were frequent and there wasn't much else to it. Everything was quick and efficient. Ambiance: (4/5) Very quiet and dim restaurant. Even talking normally felt very loud. Decor in the walls definitely establishes the vibe. Overall a very nice experience. Left us questioning the 'freshness' and authenticity. A little generous with my star rating, as we both left more than 75% of our plates behind....settled the bill, tipped, and bounced. For example, in the middle of taking our order - the server asked the gentlemen at the table right next to us who just sat down, "What would you like to drink?" while standing talking to me. Perhaps a little training inside and outside the kitchen would raise the tide across the board.

Promptly seated, drinks brought out, order taken and food delivered fast, hot and correct. The background music was some chinese music tv station playing modern easy listening tunes and, along with the comfortable chairs and solid table made for a relaxing environment. The food? meh. You can see our order in the latest photo and how expensive it was. the Lo Mein was mostly tasteless and certainly lacking in thast "lo mein flavor." Although the meat was tender, the sauce was just a sticky brown sauce. Surprisingly, the Spicy Pickle Tofu was essentially the same sticky brown sauce as the Lo Mein but with some fried tofu in it and without the noodles but nothing otherwise remarkable. You can tell by looking at my earlier picture attached. The old picture shows a bright and colorful plate. The dish today was a dark brown (you could hardly see the tofu from the beef) as everything was just dark. Eggplant seemed to have a similar brown sauce as well but the eggplant was otherwise tasteless. Nothing popped. Chicken bites were bland and not at all crunchy. Just fried to soft texture but no real flavor. According to our server, the menu was just recently updated about a month ago. We noticed because one of our favorites was the Fried Taro Pie which is now gone from the menu and the server said yes, that's right. Maybe this place has a new owner or chef, but it's no longer in my top asian restaurants for Tucson.

Sweet and sour chicken came with several large pieces of puffy breaded white meat chicken and large vegetable chunks. The sesame chicken I have mixed feelings about. The flavor was great and I liked that very much, but the chicken - the pieces were so thinly cut that they were all extra crispy or hard with NO juicy chunks. Ever order calamari? The chicken pieces were kind of like the squiggly pieces, skinny and harder. I only had about 4 bites and ended up not eating any more of it. My son tried it and agreed - the texture wasn't for us. I was surprised the server didn't ask me if I wanted to order something else or at least inquire as to why I wasn't eating it or taking it home. Anyway, the flavor was excellent, but I left dissapointed because of the chicken. That being said, it's a personal preference, so I do believe this is a good choice for Chinese food in Tucson!
