    Vietnamese Beef Pho
    Mydalya C.

3 stars for the food alone. I had the beef pho. Service is severely lacking here. It took about 10 minutes to even be seen to get a menu and I sat at the bar. Not too long ago wait for food, but another 20 minutes to wait just to pay! There was one server, one bartender who was also serving, and two cooks. An older gentleman whose main purpose seemed to be restocking supplies. Later another lady came to lend a hand, but two groups at separate tables, and single patrons were waiting.... waiting to order, waiting to pay, waiting for waters. It's one thing to wait, but it's another to be acknowledged, greeted, and that makes the waiting a little more bearable. No one speaks to you. They all walked around like you were invisible until they were ready to acknowledge and provide service. Not a great look. I'd go again with hopes of better service, and the food really is very good.

A solid spot, even as a standalone restaurant; much less a spot in a casino; let alone on the floor of a casino, opportune for gamblers, revelers, clubbers, and hanger outers alike. The flavors, quality of ingredients, and execution are all in the above average tier. Likewise, the service is professional, prompt, and courteous. The prices are quite decent, when accounting for being in the greater Washington, DC area; the National Harbor area in particular; and being on a casino floor. What keeps this place from the next level is portions; flavor; and lack of anything distinct. However, with a few slight changes in these regard, I can see this place becoming a middle to high 4 stars establishment.

Late night craving after losing my money lol. Prompt service, hot food and a cold beer , I think I will go again. I loved the soy /chili sauce combo that added much needed spice. It sits in the Casino and has no carry out , so plan to spend your time slurping. Service was good.

Food was delicious and came out quickly. The beef in the taiwanese braised beef soup was very tender. We also tried the vietnamese beef pho. Was not a huge fan of the meatballs/beef cuts they used. However, the broth and noodles were delicious and very flavorful! We were also provided small bottles of water instead of iced water from the tap. Service was nice and attentive. As expected, the prices were on the higher side for asian noodle soups but still less expensive than the other restaurants in the casino. It is a smaller menu but the majority of the entrees were $16.88. The restaurant is tucked behind the slot machines near the back and it is seat yourself. It also didnt open until 7pm on saturday. We got there right when it opened thankfully because the seats filled up quickly.

We were excited to see a noodle bar open up, but were (rightfully) hesitant after seeing it's by Ginger, recalling not great experiences there. We tried a couple of noodle soups and both were not only severely overpriced, but just not good. The pho tastes like pure msg broth - no beef flavor, no pho spices. The tai was all stuck together in one large lump and overcooked. The noodles were also stuck together in places. The taiwanese beef noodle soup literally tasted like instant beef noodle ramen soup - enough said there. Only saving grace adding the 1 star was our server being pleasant and attentive. Skip this!

Ginger Noodle bar is located inside the casino, not in the food court. You cannot order takeout or Carryout leftovers. The sit down bar is located in an area in the back. When I walked up, everyone was very prompt in asking me could they help, and could they take my order. I ordered the Dan Dan Noodles after seeing the reviews on yelp. They were ready within 5 mins or so. Piping pot! Great flavor and just minimum spice level. I definitely recommend this dish. I will be returning to try other dishes. You can use your casino comps here.

I was glad to hear a noodle bar is in the casino. Too bad they overcharge for what you get, even for a casino. I got a beer, the hot and sour cucumbers, and the braised beef noodle soup. The cucumbers were nice and crunchy, not very hot or sour. When I got the bowl of soup, I laughed. It is pretty much an appetizer portion. You would get a bowl literally 3-4x the size of this at any other reputable pho place. Shame too, as the flavor isn't bad. Beef is tender. Noodles were kinda mediocre, but the broth was good. But to charge 16.88 is just not worth it, even if you are using comps to pay. Going to ginger and getting soup there is miles better. The food did come out fast. I guess if you're just there to gamble and need to eat something in 8 minutes and get back to gambling, and you don't care about value, this is the place for you.

So I started have the Pho soup here about 6 months ago and I do have to say that the service here is Great , they always know what I want and always great me with a smile and by my name , they do make me feel welcome here , if you are at MGM and want some soup stop by , just remember they close at 1 AM in the week , Make sure and look for Jihann & Eden , don't forget the Chef , Always make sure the food is on point .

We stumbled on this noodle bar after a night of concert and gambling. This joint HITS THE SPOT. The braised beef module soup and ox tail were out of this world. And top of that, our waitress Eden was friendly and cool as hell. We will be back!

The staff were great. Eden explained everything and my noodles were very good. Dan-Dan noodles. She did ask twice about ANY food allergies I said no. Yes I like this place and will go again. Gigi was very nice too.

I am at MGM fairly often and was excited when they opened this noodle bar as it was a non fast food option that was open late and on the actual casino floor as opposed to in their food court. This bar has a limited menu which makes sense given it's only open a few hours and also literally right on the casino floor with the "kitchen" right in the middle. They also have a full bar if you were interested in having a cocktail while they prepared your food. I went with the spicy cucumbers as an app and they were certainly firey as they were prepared in chili oil and additionally had chili flakes as a garnish. The disk itself was refreshing and I would order it again. For my main I had the Dan Dan Noodles with Ground Pork (this wasn't my first visit here so I've ordered other main dishes and opted to try this noodle dish since it wasn't broth based). There was a healthy portion of noodles and pork in the bowl and while it didn't lack on flavor, the flavors weren't balanced in my opinion .... I even asked for soy sauce on the side to see if that's what was missing but that didn't do the trick. Now, they were certainly flavorful and even had a rich flavor, however, it just wasn't a balanced flavor if that makes sense. I am thinking lime may have done the trick but this is me realizing this 13 hours after the fact. The service was AWESOME as all the servers were extremely friendly and attentive so they deserve a 5 star rating, but, we know ratings are about the totality of the experience. I want to give this a 3 1/2 star rating overall but since we can't give half stars, it's leaning more towards 3 stars over 4. Crazy thing is I will be back bc this is my late night hunger killing option on those nights I'm gambling so, I'll try something else on my next adventure.

I got a ramen noodle bowl, it was delicious after a drunk night and losing money on slots lol.

    Beef pho with iced coffee
    Sanya P.

Beef pho here is absolutely the best! Service is great and the environment is very welcoming! The odor in some Pho places can be very overwhelming, so I was hesitant at first but after coming here twice I can say its one of my favorite spots in the DMV! I chose to have iced coffee before my pho arrived which I was able to take with me and enjoy after. Overall I would say its pretty amazing!

At the table, we shared the crispy spring rolls, fried dumplings and chicken wings as apps. We all enjoyed these, especially the chicken wings. Everyone enjoyed their drinks too - the lychee li, the mango margarita, the botanical, the sticky mango, the old fashioned, the baccarat. We all enjoyed them. For the food we had the thai basil beef fried rice, general tso shrimp, panang curry, singapore noodles, house style wok tossed soft noodles, seafood xo, and the wonton soup. Most of us tried each other's food because of the healthy servings and most of us enjoyed what we ate. Our waitress Minzhi was awesome - friendly, knowledgeable and funny. The restaurant manager Q was nice and attentive as well. They even gave one of our party members a mango sticky rice dessert (which was just okay - would've been much better if the mango was riper and sweeter) and sang happy birthday to her. Overall, we had a lovely time. Ginger is pricey so be mindful of that before you go but if you're celebrating a special occasion/milestone, it will be a nice change of pace.

The staff was very helpful in deciding what to pick and guiding us through the menu. However, as good as the items are, I do not truly believe that it matches the price point. They were good but lack luster in seasoning in some aspects and the presentation was mediocre for what it was. This is a great restaurant to try for the vibes and ambiance of dining in MGM but being so close to a hot spot of asian dining, there is plenty of better options within the area.

I wasn't happy when the hostess tried that stupid restaurant trick where they try to seat you at the worst and smallest table (which did not have an umbrella) when most of the other tables are available. But I insisted on, and received, a better table. For a starter we ordered the Pok Pok wings, hoping that they were like the amazing and wonderful Pok Pok wings that were at the now long-gone Andy Ricker Pok Pok restaurants in Portland, OR. Hawker's Pok Pok chicken wings were not like the Portland Pok Pok wings but nonetheless, Hawker's Pok Pok (party) wings were excellent. We loved the flavors and the crispy battered texture. We also ordered the Crispy Wontons. These gingery babies were pleasantly plump. For an entrée, JP ordered the lamb udon and thought it was delicious. I ordered the chicken and shrimp Phad Thai. It also was tasty, perhaps a little on the spicy hot side. Lastly, I ordered a pork belly bun (the order comes with two steamed buns). These came with mustard greens. I thought the buns were just okay. The steamed buns should've been more fluffy and the five spice seasoning on the pork was pretty overwhelming. But yet, considering that service was decent and there's enough good stuff on the menu, we will be back.

My wife had the Pecel Lele, which was tasty, though the fish was just a little overcooked. My only other minor complaint is that I wish the portions were a bit larger. One thing to note is that the menu leans pretty heavily on coconut milk, which can be tricky for my wife because she has a sulfite allergy. What really impressed us, though, was Artha herself. She patiently answered all of our questions and even told us that if we call ahead, she'll source the one brand of coconut milk that doesn't contain sulfites so she can prepare dishes my wife can safely enjoy. That level of care and customer service is hard to find these days, and it's more than enough reason for us to keep coming back. We're excited to work our way through the rest of the menu.
