This is my second time with Noob Entertainment and we're still amazed at their execution of service. They readily respond to messages and requests quickly; they will accommodate what you want as best as they can. They followed our requests for specific things at our wedding, sometimes even complicated. They surprised us with some things that weren't in our timeline BUT made our wedding so much more meaning and fun (you'll just have to book them to see what surprises they can do for you)! We never had a meeting with our emcee, but it felt like he knew us and our vibe. He brought such a fun and party-like personality to the reception that all the guests enjoyed. Overall, memorable experience with NooB entertainment (Ryan and Kookie). They have my service for a lifetime! read more

10/10 experience with Noob Entertainment! I had the pleasure to work with them for my wedding and had positive feedback from guests about the DJ/Emcee. This review is really overdue by about 6 months!! Thank you Ryan and Noob Entertainment for DJing our wedding! They were the light along with the Officiant and MC and kept things moving and popping when a lot of missteps were made by other vendors on our wedding day. That is a story for another day. Ryan meshed very well with the Officiant and MC and played music that really drew the crowd in and kept most of the guests on the dance floor!! The guest list was about half from Hawaii and half from the mainland. Some of our Hawaii friends said that they've never seen so many people dancing at a wedding in Hawaii!! Thank you Ryan and Noob for making that happen!! read more

Ryan and Emcee Josh brought the exact energy we wanted for our wedding reception - nonstop fun, great music and laughs!! We were also able to have live karaoke with Ryan's DJ booth that had a large screen on it. It was awesome and a huge hit with our family and friends, they can't stop talking about how much fun it was! They also provided quality photobooth services; my wife loved the lighting and said it made her skin look flawless and photoshopped lol. We booked Noob Entertainment for our wedding at the recommendation of our wedding planner Jill Easley, and Ryan Guerrero our DJ, who partnered with Chris Styles our MC, were both outstanding! We got to coordinate with both Ryan and Chris over the phone and they were so easy to talk to and work with even during our high stress moments. The music was perfect and Chris made the guests feel right at home with his recognizable radio voice. Everyone really enjoyed the wedding! I would highly recommend them for any type of party! read more

Thank you Ryan and his team for helping us set the mood for a great wedding reception! Everyone had a blast! NooB Entertainment reached out to me last year for winning a freebie from a wedding expo. I was able to swap out the freebie for uplights and went with them because they're reasonably priced and I really wanted uplights. Communication was smooth in the beginning but it was kinda strained towards the end. I had to follow up several times which was frustrating as it came down to the wire. Thankfully, we met with Ryan a couple days out from the event and we were able to iron out any previous miscommunications and make changes to our program. He had some pretty fun ideas that really made our wedding memorable because no one saw it coming! Sneaky sneaky. Day of, they came on time and got the party started as scheduled. The photobooth was fun and the music was on point! Ryan does a great job improvising on the spot and has some good songs on standby should the occasion arise for them. Finally, my much anticipated uplights were everything I imagined and more. They were my Pinterest dream come true. Overall, I had a positive experience with NooB Entertainment for their DJ and photo booth services and will recommend them to others! read more

These guys were great! They kept the party and dancing going all night. Ryan and Noob Entertainment were also very reasonably priced compared to a lot of other DJs/Vendors. We cant express how great Ryan and his team were! Our wedding was a hit. Everyone loved the photobooth and the awesome music, it was the perfect mix of old and new songs. From the first time we met him, we were hooked...we liked his ideas about the program, since we had no idea what was going on, the games which turned into our lip sync battle, and lastly the giant group pic to get everyone on the dance floor! We absolutely loved the dancing on the clouds, our custom monogram/photobooth template, and mostly the friendliness and affordability that came with it. We highly recommend NooBentertainment and would definitely use again! read more

Noob Entertainment was the DJ at my wedding. Ryan and Kookie were great to work with! They provided us with music, photobooth and LED uplights. My wedding was a destination wedding so it was hard to plan everything from so far away. Noob Entertainment was recommended by my wedding coordinator (Savannah's events) and i am so glad we chose Ryan and his team. Ryan was kind enough to work with my schedule last January when I was only in town for a few days on a conference. He wanted to get to know us better as a couple to see what we were like so he can cater to our needs better. Not only does he have all the music selection that you can think of, if you have a request, he will surely do this best to fulfill your request. We added the photobooth last minute thinking we weren't going to be able to afford it but they were able to work within my budget. The photobooth was such a success! It was probably the most popular/entertaining thing for my guests. Everyone enjoyed it. They provide everything (unlimited photos and all the props). They also design the photo layout based on your events/theme. The LED lights looked amazing, especially at night. They really add a flare to the pictures. The lights were also included in my package as well so it was a very good deal. Noob Entertainment is the company to go to for your next event! read more

Ryan and Kookie were so great!! My husband and I planned a wedding from LA and we are so thankful that we found them! We were worried planning a wedding from far away, but they made it so easy. They were so quick and responsive via email/text/call and offer lots of services. They created a package that was tailor made for us. We used Ryan's DJs services, photobooth (which was a huge hit!), Uplighting, gobo rental, and projector rental. They are unique in that they are so up to date with social media. Our guests were able to post to Instagram and their photos were immediately displayed on our projector. Ryan and his staff were so kind and fun to work with. Our guests had such wonderful things to say about them. I would refer Ryan and his staff to anyone. I will never forget our bridal party forgot a money lei they had made for us at the reception and Ryan was kind enough to text us and let us know, as well as drop it off to our hotel before he left for work the next day! We were so worried when we realized we had lost it, but every last dollar was accounted for and Ryan's honesty and kind heart was such a reassurance. Noo-B entertainment's integrity and passion for their work is unmatched. I would trust them DJ-ing for any event!!! read more

We just got married a couple weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with choosing NOOB Entertainment for DJ, uplighting, gobo light, instagram live feed, and photobooth! 2 years ago I started researching DJs in Honolulu since we were planning from California. I came across NOOB and was instantly impressed with the services they provided and their willingness to work with our budget. Ryan and Kookie are a great team and even when there was one misunderstanding on my part, it was so easy to work them and get everything sorted out. Ryan even included "walking on clouds" during our first dance, which I originally didn't want, but looking back at pictures, it was pretty epic. The music was fire and exactly what we wanted. My friends tried to request "Work" by Rhianna which was on my "Do Not Play" list (sorry, not sorry- song is overplayed haha), but Ryan directed them my way to ask permission. True story. I still said no. :D The lighting was perfect, the photobooth was a lot of fun. We just got back from our honeymoon so I haven't seen all the pictures from that night, but I'm looking forward to seeing all the photobooth pics! They even designed the background using the invitation I designed. That was unexpected. All in all, I would definitely recommend NOOB for your wedding or any party, really. Their professionalism, the fun they bring, the energy and their desire for client satisfaction is what makes them standout. Trust. It was also cool seeing them at Manifest for First Friday aka the after party! read more

Quick responses via, email & text (important for a self planner bride)! They helped customize everything & made sure that it was good & to my approval! They can do it all! Not to mention the connections & referrals to other great vendors if needed. I love noob entertainment & can't wait to rehire them for my future events! Ryan and his team were FANTASTIC! Our PREVIOUS booked DJ had been unresponsive and unprofessional, which left me (bride), less than a week before the wedding, frantically searching for a replacement DJ. Ryan straight away came to the rescue, responding to my request for quote/availability within minutes and setting up a call, then a meeting all within a day. The template for song requests was simple and straightforward, as was the payment process. On the wedding day I did not have to coordinate with Ryan and his team as they were very experienced with the location and when I walked into the reception room for the first time, I was wow'd! The lights set up was awesome, the dance floor was lit and Ryan coordinated and worked with our emcee seamlessly throughout the whole evening. Thanks again Ryan, Kookie, Lawrence and Brah! read more

NooB Entertainment is a must when considering DJ's for your event. Ryan was exceptionally flexible and accommodating to your preferences and needs. The first time meeting Ryan was just a week prior to our wedding. To be honest, we were a bit nervous and didn't know what to expect with it being so close to our day. Ryan was so approachable and at the same so full of ideas. Me and my other half basically handed him the keys and let him do his thing when it came to entertainment and he didn't disappoint. Kookie was also very accommodating with our budget, as well as any last min changes. We decided to change our first dance song the night before our wedding and she more than happily obliged. If you need an Emcee, NooB entertainment has one of the finest in Rayton Lamay. He had everything you'd want in an Emcee. He kept the crowd going the whole night and we didn't hear nothing but positive raves from our guest. He's also very approachable and would not do anything without your approval first. Overall I'd give NooB Entertainment a 20/10 scale, nothing negative I could say about them. They more than exceeded our expectations and even threw in some pleasant surprises. read more

Ryan Guerrero and NOOB ENTERTAINEMENT was amazing and worked so well with us! I had quite a few request for my wedding, all last minute and he delivered on all of them!! Priced so affordable, gave HUGE DISCOUNTS and you really can't go wrong if you hire him for any party you have!! He gave me half prize for the sparklers, free of dancing on the cloud, LED lights and monogram. His DJ service is included not only the reception but also the ceremony with no extra charge. I couldn't believe it!!! I'm so tremendously blessed with him!! I felt bad after the wedding cause his service is beyond amazing and CHEAPEST prize. I gave extra money via venmo to him because he deserves more!! I was looking for electronic sparkler and I didn't know at first he ordered 5 sparklers!!! In my wedding day is the first time Ryan used it. So thoughtful of him and such a genuine person!!! Everyone loved it! My guests said my wedding is perfectly beautiful and lit!!! He is so fun and really knew what he was doing! Everything was honestly perfect and I couldn't be happier with how everything went!! Thank you for making our day amazing and super fun. We had Ryan (Noob Entertainment) to be our destination wedding DJ at Ko'olau Ballrooms in O'ahu, HI. We planned our wedding virtually from the mainland (Maryland) and Ryan and his team (Noob Entertainment) delivered exactly what we had envisioned. Ryan was our DJ and delivered exactly what we had envisioned. Everyone had so much at our wedding. Asides the DJ services, I learned that they also offer other amazing entertainment things! Asides the DJ services, we also hired Noob Entertainment for their amazing Dance On The Cloud Effect and Sparkular Cold Sparks for our first dance which made our wedding day so, so magical and memorable and also had Noob Entertainment for our reception uplights, monogram, chair covers, chair sash and pipes and drapes. Noob Entertainment really made our wedding day truly magical and special and they were one of the reasons why many of our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful our wedding was. Thanks to Noob Entertainment! From the mainland, we had communicated via emails, texts, calls and met in person before the wedding. The communication and experience with Ryan and his team (from Noob Entertainment) have been a great experience. And their Noob Entertainment sheet has been helpful as well to help me to organize our entertainment ideas. Overall, they've been very responsive, fun and professional. First heard about Noo-B Entertainment at one of the expos, then again when our coordinator referred us to them for our photobooth needs for our wedding. It worked out perfectly, cause I actually met Kookie when I used to work at the bank! I love Kookie, her personality is just one that you can't turn away from because she's so open and down to earth! Then I found out that they're also related to my husband's childhood friend, so small world! I went through Kookie for all our needs, and it was such an easy process to do so! I originally wanted to do just the photobooth, but we ended up getting their dance on the cloud, uplighting and custom gobo monogram as well, since the prices for all services were so good! As our wedding date slowly creeping up on us, Ryan emailed me to go over the final details of everything, which was just as easy as working with Kookie. Our wedding day came, and again...everything was perfect. Uplighting was the perfect shade of blue, our monogram was everything, and so was our custom frame for the pictures from the photobooth! They customized it to our theme, and I thought it was simply adorable. Our dance on the cloud was beautiful, it really made us feel like it was just us. I'm not sure if it was Noo-B who set up the live feed of pics that were posted on social media with our hashtag, throughout our wedding program, but I thought that was an awesome idea, and loved seeing everyone's posts! I was so happy to see Kookie at the end of the night, cause she wasn't there when my husband & I went to take pics at the photobooth. I haven't seen her in so long since I left the bank, but I'm glad that she was able to be a part of my big day! read more

I received many compliments from my wedding guests about our "awesome" DJ and the cool photo booth. Ryan and his crew did a great job, and I could not be more pleased with how things went at my wedding. We met Ryan at the Wedding Expo, and after cross-referencing the information given by all of the potential vendors, we determined that they were the best value. By value, I mean lowest price for most items that appeared to be of good quality. Noob packaged the photo booth, DJ, emcee, emblem, and the cloud (for the first dance) a very reasonable price compared to the other vendors. We had to purchase the emblem and dry ice for the cloud on on our own, but they gave us information on where to purchase these things. We met with Ryan at Starbucks in Kalihi for our consultation and pre-wedding meetings. At the beginning, I was a little bit concerned because things seemed a bit disorganized with the emails, and they did not have the pictures from the different venues sorted in separate folders. (Organization could have helped with streamlining their presentation.) However, I still give them five stars because everything came together so perfectly at the wedding, and really, that is what matters. Ryan configured the photo booth frame to match our wedding invitation. The photo booth props were clean and in good condition. We received a thumb drive with all the photos at the end of the night. Ryan played all the 90's jams that make my friends and I nostalgic. He played a good mix of music to cater to the wide variety of people at our wedding though. At one point--I don't know how this happened--we even had a conga line! It was soooo much fun, and this was in large part due to the enthusiasm of Ryan as our DJ, and the leading of events by our emcee. I wholeheartedly can give Noob my endorsement!!! read more

Ryan, Kookie, and their team were so great! They were everything we could have hoped for in a DJ/photo booth. We (like the procrastinators we are) found ourselves with out a DJ only weeks before our wedding. Noob Entertainment was recommended to us by another vendor we were using. We did not have a chance to hear him play, but we did get a chance to meet with him in person before the wedding. When we met with him he had a bunch of fun ideas and had us fill out a timeline for our wedding. We were just hoping for the best, not really knowing what to expect. His wife Kookie, texted me asking if we had a photo booth, we did not. We thought we couldn't afford one. She was able to work with our budget and the photo booth ended up being one of the most popular items at our wedding. (She even asked for a copy of our wedding invitation and worked our design into the photo booth template!) Ryan did an amazing job with our music. There was a slight miscommunication for the ceremony music while the parents were being escorted down the aisle, but Ryan made it work. The ceremony went off with out a hitch. At the reception he was quick to read the crowd and add in little tid bits during the speeches. He even had something up his sleeve for the garter toss. The disco lights during the dance party really set the mood and the dance floor was crowded till the very end. I can't say enough good things about this company. They really went above and beyond.
