Even though we were just looking for a DJ, they offer so many other services! So if you're looking for package deals, they would be really great for that also. They were super responsive through email and we even set up a phone meeting with one of their DJs, Nate. We were able to talk to him and he was so great, so that convinced us to book them right away. He listened to everything we wanted and totally understood what we were thinking. They also had a questionnaire for us to fill out which helped us with all our music choices. Hope, from the office, emailed us to keep us on track. We even had a final phone call with her to make sure everything was set. They were so great at communicating which made me feel so much better about the whole process. And the day of... AMAZING!! It was everything we had wanted. Music makes such a huge difference and it was such a great vibe! The music was just perfect, everything flowed so smoothly, they are soooo nice and easy to work with. What else can I say? I had already booked photobooth with our emcee package so I was looking more at his Photo/Video Event Service. Which I should of looked into his photobooth service because he had a better deal but definitely will look into booking more services for future events. I was in contact with Alan throughout the year for any questions and concerns I had. He's quick to respond and is available through text or email. I also added the slideshow services a few months before after a fallout of another vendor I was suppose to do it with. He was able to do it with no problems. I gave the slideshow pictures a little over a week before the party and he showed me a sample of it. It got me choked up on how beautifully it turned out with all the pictures and songs put together. We just had our daughter's birthday within the last week and had Allan photographing our event with the help of Makoto doing the video. They both were prompt and ready to service the event. At first I was suppose to have the VIP photo wall at the entrance so we could take pictures with our guests upon arrival but due to the winds outside it had to be moved it. It crowded the area a bit with couple vendors aside the photo area but Allan tried his best to make use of the wall and have us take pictures. We were all over the place so we didn't get to use it to the full potential but I know he capture all the important stuff during our event. Especially suggesting to take our family photo outside. He took some great captures of her smiling! Allan just sent me a link to the sneak peak photos and I'm excited to see more photos as he'll work on continuing to edit in the next few weeks. After all the running around during the day to set up for the party and the hectic night of welcoming people in, I didn't get a chance to take pictures myself so I'm glad I had them to capture the moments to relive on later. They had actually been one of the photo booth companies I had been following on Instagram but I was still deciding. She had nothing but good things to say about them so I checked out the prices and inquired. All communication with Allan was great. I gave him vectors that I used to make our invitations and after I showed him an example of what I kind of wanted he did a great job creating our layout. At the wedding, the staff was so nice to all of our guests. Our cocktail got moved from outside to inside in the foyer. They offered to start earlier so our guests could have some fun during the cocktail hour. We all loved the fun props and I'm super picky about lighting and the lighting on their booth is awesome. Lastly, they provide you with an online album to view and download all your photos which was great because I got distracted at the wedding of course and misplaced mine. My husband and I highly recommend PhotoOps Hawaii!! Affordable and great quality :)

I was surprised Jen got good pictures out of her, but amazingly she got all the most precious and tender moments. She was also very patient and kind to my daughter. My daughter's birthday was perfect and the pictures were wonderful. We got really good family pictures, which difficult are to capture. My family was really happy with her photos. Jen worked well with my coordinator Geri of Angelic Creations during the birthday party. She stuck to the schedule and got all the right moments. But I was really moved to write my first yelp review because of how outstanding and full of aloha this local business is. My boss put me in charge of getting a group shot taken during our huge convention at a hotel in Waikiki. I'm pretty new to my job and I was anxious not to mess this assignment up. There are others who do professional group shots, but I just had a feeling about Jen who was one of the first businesses to respond to my inquiry about such a large shot (see attached for the amazing job). Her quick, engaging, thoughtful and helpful replies reassured me that it would come out great. Come the day of the photo shoot and Jen and Abe showed up very early to set up and they were complete pros!!! It was blazing hot during the time of the shot and she had to use a big ladder and squint a lot in the sun, let alone direct around 200 people, but the photos came out beautiful. I remember weeks before that she asked me what kind of "feel" I wanted for the pics. What a sensitive and thoughtful question to ask...I told her I wanted it vibrant and look how they delivered. I had people preorder and ordered extra but they still sold out because their shots came out so nice. They usually do family and baby kinds of photos, but they really showed they have the professional range to do pretty much anything. And as people they are incredibly professional, helpful, dependable, easygoing and warm to work with. With high stakes moments (like when are these 200 people ever going to be in the same place at the same time again?? or a wedding, etc), you want the peace of mind that you have good people who know what they're doing in charge. After they got their shots, I told them how thankful I was they busted their butts in the sun to patiently get the shots and they were just like that was nothing....totally fine. The Varsity building is on the same site of the old Varsity theaters. We scheduled her appointment on a day that I wasn't working, so I could help her with hair/make up styling. Perfect Portraits Hawai'i is located on the fifth floor of the varsity building. There is free parking in the building parking lot. We were warmly greeted on arrival, and they were currently photographing another student in her class. Nikki is the owner of the business and also one of the photographers. There were two photographers present that day. They have a private dressing room where you can change into different looks. You're scheduled for a 15 minute appointment, but I appreciated that they didn't rush us and we were there for 45 minutes. Nikky was very professional as was the other photographer and they took different looks including ones in natural light and with studio lighting. My daughter felt very comfortable working with them, and overall it was a wonderful experience! I am definitely considering coming back to have family portraits done.

From the very beginning, Leanne was so kind and responsive, patiently answering all of our questions in a friendly and timely manner. We loved Jason Deng's work, and she was able to secure him for our date as well as set up a quick initial video call with him. On the day of, Jason and his second photographer Kristin were prompt, professional, and so easy to work with. Jason does a great job of giving everyone clear directions in front of the camera, and makes the process enjoyable and easy. He even asked if I had a preferred side of my face (I do) and positioned the shots to accommodate that. This attention to detail was something that we really appreciated. The photos themselves turned out incredible and we're beyond happy with the result. It's exactly what we were envisioning - natural and warm, yet intentional, shots that capture the story of our day. Although the turnaround time is quoted as 6 weeks in the contract, they finished ours in nearly 3, which is insanely fast. We even had a request for the editing style which Leanne relayed to the team and it was well reflected in the photos we received. Even though our Kahala package only included 48 4x6 prints, Visionari sent us more than double that - they printed around 100 "highlight" photos. For the video side of things, Sam was equally as professional, friendly, and seamless as the photographers. We opted for the ceremony only package, and the 20 minute-long video is the perfect record of our ceremony. The shots and audio are crisp and clear, and the editing is clean. The final video was high-quality and well put-together without being overdone. We prefer a simpler, straightforward feel for video, so this perfectly aligned with what we were looking for. Overall, Visionari captured our day beautifully. We're so happy we chose them and would gladly recommend their amazing service to any couple!
