Despite my best efforts in the past to do Fall train rides, which turned out to be disappointing only because there was never any good colors on trees, this by far is the very best fall foliage experience I've ever had in my life. You get great views of the tree color transitions and just great photo opportunities. It does get cold on the water so bring a jacket. Experience is as excellent as last time with beverages and snacks for purchase. If you enjoy fall colors, great scenery and boats then you have to do this at least once.

Because for us, this was the trip of a lifetime and she made it happen. There was romance, adventure, relaxation, and most of all connection! Of course, the ever-so-talented Amy was responsible for 99.9999% of our plans. We came to her perplexed, running out of time to get to Oceania in the summer, with a vision that could not be pulled off without years of planning expertise and a penchant for networking. It is evident to us why Amy gets all of these rave reviews she does. And why we're raving about her on here, too! At the beginning of January, I reached out to Amy asking her for help booking our 2-week honeymoon to New Zealand and Fiji. We connected the same day and she reached out over the phone, and then had us fill out a form with our vision. The target was a late March-early April trip, just in time to catch good weather in both countries. Over 2-3 months, Amy worked tirelessly to cover off on every little detail. As the sample itineraries came in, she listened intently to our concerns and preferences, helped us scenario plan ("Travel north? Or south?") And gave her professional opinion as a travel agent without being pushy. She also hooked us up with someone at Down Under Answers who was more knowledgeable than she was about New Zealand adventures to help us experience the most we could out there. We traveled from Montclair, New Jersey to Queenstown to Rotorua to Auckland to Fiji. It was virtually seamless but only because we worked with such a talented and caring travel agent who helped us plan realistic, vacation-appropriate timelines. The icing on the already incredible cake was when we received a welcome champagne bottle the first night in our first hotel with restaurant recommendations and a Happy Honeymoon note~ My husband and I will be most certainly be working with Amy again for our next trip to really get the most out of it! I am a very novice international traveller but my agent through Aventina made our trip from NYC to Cancun as easy as possible. We're extremely grateful that our trip memories are only filled with happy and loving ones and none relating to travel incidents or problems, and I credit that to our agent. At times it felt like my agent wanted me to attend this wedding more than the bride and groom did! Checking in on me weekly, asking for updates, and always being incredibly prompt on replies and assistance, no matter the hour. We made life challenging for him (our flight changed about two weeks out from the trip and we weren't even aware...), but he still came through for us and the trip went off without a hitch. I truly believe all travel agents should strive to meet the quality in which Aventina clearly hits. It was a complete pleasure working with them, and I'd happily recommend them to anyone to use in the future.

TEP deserves more than 5 stars for the amazing start to finish service we experienced on our 7 day…read moreadventure to Peru to hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. From the time we signed up, to the time we boarded the plane to return home, TEP took care of every detail. We commented amongst ourselves that we felt like kids on vacation with our parents, as we didn't have to worry about any of the details - just show up and follow Neptali (our guide). From airport pickup in Cusco in luxury Mercedes vans where we were promptly served Coca tea to help with the altitude acclimation, to group dinners at amazing Peruvian restaurants, to historical tours and education on the history of the Inca - everything was covered and taken care of for us. And that was all before the amazing trek along the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu! Of course the trek itself was the highlight of the trip, and although it was extremely challenging for us, TEP's unbelievable attention to detail did not fail us on the trail. With nearly a 2:1 porter to trekker ration, our every need was met on the trail. We dined like kings every meal, and were consistently amazed with the quality (and nutritional appropriateness) of the food our chef and sous chef were able to put out with minimal kitchen conveniences. The thing I felt was most special about TEP's approach to this trip was the focus on gaining a cultural and historical appreciation for what we were experiencing. Every step along the way, we learned about the native people of Peru, the Inca civilization, the many ruins we came across, the vegetation we saw and how it was and is used, and the history of modern Peru. It was the trip of a lifetime, and have the help of The Explorer's Passage made it so much more enjoyable, and so much more memorable. The value of what they provide is amazing for the cost....rather, for the investment. I highly recommend them!

Not welcoming, or helpful. She could have been polite and asked to put me on hold or something but yea safe to say I'm not calling back.
