After scrolling thru the review photos I thought for sure I would land on a burger. But I was pleasantly surprised to see they had hot dogs on the menu, which were cleverly disguised as Perras Maltesas. And being that I am not a vegetarian, I ordered the carnivore selection. Boy, was I glad I found the hot dog on that menu. It is presented in "pig in a blanket" style with two 1/4 pound beefy dogs in homemade roll with 2 kinds of gooey cheese and caramelized onions. And even though I am normally a chili dog kinda girl, I have to say every bite of this tasty combo tasted like a bite from home. And these guys aren't kidding around. The dog runs end to end and it's a hearty meal for one or perfect snack for two. The picture shows the dog after I cut it in half for sharing. The dog is grilled and the bun is toasty warm lending to yummy, gooey, cheesy melt. If you are jonseing for a good hot dog in Mexico City, this is your destination.

There were two types of sausage, two kinds of steak, beef ribs, grilled veggies, fries, a salad, and grilled provolone. Everything was nothing short of fantastic. Tender. Perfectly cooked. Delicious. The staff was very attentive and helpful with suggestions. They were very apologetic when we mentioned that another diner was smoking at an adjacent table, too. There is outside seating near the sidewalk, covered outside seating, and inside seating. It was bright and cozy inside. I'm so glad we walked over.

The raviolis are infinitely better than ones I have found in Italian restaurants in the area, and I am particularly fond of the spinach and cheese ones. Definitely inspires me to want to travel to Argentina just for the food!

To counter that, the restaurant owner decided to blast some rock music to deter them. The result was a pure mood killer for the patrons. Food wise was pretty standard. The vibe here at this location is great. I love the outdoor seating with a great view of the city and perfect for people watching. I love that it's a laid back experience here but if you need something your server is more than happy to help. Based on my diet I only wanted a small bite this visit and the waiter gladly let me order off of the kids menu. The noodles and sauce were great! And the portion was perfect for what I wanted at that moment. This is my second trip to this location and I'm sure there will be a 3rd or a 4th soon.

The service was great and friendly and the environment was cute. The appetizers were the best part of the meal as we all didn't really like our entree, it was very disappointing. For starters, we got the carpaccio de salmone and the burrata, rucola e prosciutto. The carpaccio was so good! It had a lemony hint, I would get this again! The burrata was good, but nothing special. For entree we got the capellini granchi, risotto gamberi e limone, and pappardelle al pesto. All were very disappointing. The capellini was the favorite of the three but was very salty. The risotto was overly citrusy as they added too much lemon, it was overpowering. The pappardelle el pesto needed more seasoning as it was very bland and had no flavor. I would not come here again unless it was for the carpaccio.
