Despite a perfect attendance record, they charged me for the missed class (mind you that I was actually there!). I pay $300 per month, and I expected at least a little courtesy or a one-time exception. I'm especially disappointed by their rigid, poorly communicated policies and lack of customer care. The only reason I haven't canceled my plan is because I'm locked into a three-month commitment after recently upgrading to unlimited classes. The class was small (only 4 people) so I felt like I got all of the attention I needed, especially as a beginner. During the class, the queues and directions she gave made the class very easy to follow along with and she provided corrections as I needed them. I also noticed that she modified the workout along the way for one participant who needed modifications, which I thought was really awesome because she adapted to everyone's individual needs. I thought the studio itself was very cute, organized and clean. I can't wait to go back and take more classes at Pilates Miami Shores.
