Honestly, I read reviews all the time and barely get to post but I had to make some time to talk…read moreabout how this gym has changed my life. I've done all the typical Miami things. I've joined legacy fit, I joined ClassPass, I do the Miami Run club, I joined Anatomy -I've done multiple meal programs and bought online guides. I've had multiple trainers before. I did that and spent that money. I've even been at sculpture for years while doing all the above - it wasn't until I started actually listening and applying what the trainers at Sculpture told me to my life and taking it seriously - that I started to see changes and apply it to my life and fitness journey. I even when I left - I realized even the trainers at more "hipper" gyms didn't give me what I needed or was looking for in a trainer. When you join this gym, you get a trainer sure, you get a meal plan, OK, but you get a life coach and friend too. Someone you can ask 10000 questions and who will stay with you well past your time slot and make sure you do what you need to do. They keep up their end of the bargain and actually want to see you win, you aren't just a customer. My trainer RAUL literally told me, I'm meant to learn from him so I can do it on my own and eventually not come to see him. NOT GONNA HAPPEN, but that's how I know he has my best interest. Anyways, they didn't give me a discount or give me something free to write this - I'm writing this because this gym is my homies, my savors, and the reason why I look good as hell now after I stopped bullshitting and stayed consistent. Shout out to Jose, Lucas, and RAUL!!! They rule. Stop sleeping on yourself and JOIN!!!!

1-Star -- Extremely disappointing treatment after 13+ years as a member…read more I've been an LA Fitness member for over 13 years and have the higher-level membership that allows me to bring guests. I have been bringing my girlfriend with me regularly, and today was no different. We both checked in normally, including scanning her registered guest barcode. I had to briefly go back outside to my car because I had forgotten my gym bag. While I was going outside, a manager came running to the entrance and told my girlfriend that she could not stay inside because I was no longer in the club and that she needed to leave. I understand that there may be a policy requiring the primary member to accompany their guest, and if that's the rule, that's fine. My issue is the way it was handled. There was absolutely no reason for this to become a public confrontation. My girlfriend was spoken to in front of other members in a way that was extremely embarrassing and humiliating. She became so upset that she started crying. We ultimately decided to leave the gym altogether rather than continue our workout. After being a loyal member for more than 13 years, I expect basic professionalism, respect, and customer service from management. Policies can absolutely be enforced without making a member or their guest feel publicly humiliated. What makes this even more disappointing is that I have been coming to this location and using my membership for years. A simple, respectful explanation would have been enough. Instead, the way this was handled completely ruined our experience and caused us both to leave without working out. LA Fitness needs to do better when it comes to how its managers communicate with long-term members and their guests.

I have been trying for weeks to resolve an issue with the Personal Training department at LA…read moreFitness North Miami, and I have been met with nothing but silence, excuses, and a complete lack of accountability. Throughout my membership, I experienced repeated trainer no-shows, inconsistent scheduling, poor communication, and a complete disregard for my time. After these ongoing issues, I requested to cancel my personal training agreement and receive a refund for services that were not delivered as promised. Since then, I have spent weeks calling Corporate Customer Relations, emailing, and following every instruction I have been given. Corporate Customer Relations and HR have both told me that the only person who can approve my cancellation is the District Manager, Jesus. The problem is that he has never contacted me despite repeated requests and follow-ups. I have been waiting for weeks with no response or resolution. No customer should have to spend weeks chasing management just to receive a response. It is unacceptable that a company of this size allows one unresponsive manager to prevent the resolution of a legitimate customer complaint. I expected professionalism, accountability, and respect. Instead, I have been passed from person to person with no resolution while continuing to worry about additional charges on my account. I am still requesting: * Immediate cancellation of my personal training agreement. * Confirmation that no additional payments will be processed. * A refund for the services that were not delivered as promised. If you are considering signing up for personal training at this location, I encourage you to carefully consider whether this is the level of customer service you are willing to accept. I sincerely hope LA Fitness corporate leadership takes responsibility and addresses the serious management and communication issues at this location.

Kaisa the owner makes it a welcoming, motivating and fun time to come and grind it out every time. HIIT group classes with multiple stations consisting of 4-5 movements/reps that you try to do as many times as possible. There may be some more arm or leg work than the other on some days, but it's always a go-hard full body workout. Warmup typically includes some running outside down the front of the other studios in the complex, but there are stationary bikes for anyone who doesn't want to run. I love that they make time for abs, a cool down and stretching at the end. My main classes are: Tune Up - a different HIIT workout every time, multiple tools and equipment Supercharge - a combination of HIIT and kickboxing The Racetrack - 9-10 different stations ("miles") of HIIT They have boxing gloves for rental, and of course bring your own if you have, since you'll need them for Supercharge and Burn Out (mainly kickboxing). My only qualm is boxing on the movable bags; they tend to inch away from you after each punch, so you have to either punch from the opposite side or drag the bag back. They are always changing their workout formats so it's worth checking the schedule and seeing what's happening; I think Kaisa is adding a yoga class on Sundays. As she said, there should be something for everyone here!
