Three hours into our 14 hour return trip an issue with the rear axle left us stranded in PA. The first call (prior to 7am) was taken and we were told that the issue would be sent in and we would get a call back. An hour later, we called again, just to be told our initial call/problem was not even entered into the system. We are now at least 10 calls into speaking with a different rep every time with no solution. One rep even stated that they would come and tow the RV but that they didn't have a rental or replacement for us. Also, no reimbursement for the hotel rooms that we now have for 7 people and 2 dogs. After searching the internet for the last 9 hours, there is not a single rental car or van available in a 50 mile radius that will allow a one way rental and the Cruise America supposedly can't find an alternative RV for the rental. Very disappointed in how this business treats their customers.

I rented from their PA branch in Quakertown. The people were pleasant and Gail was very accommodating given this was a short notice rental. but here is a list of problems: 1- Don't be fooled by the pictures. Seats were ripped and they sprayed a toxic amount of air freshener to hide the odor that came up later on. 2- Was told not to use the auto leveler because it was a hassle to operate. When we got to camp, I realized that wasn't an option because I realized I needed to sleep on a flat surface. After calling multiple numbers and doing some research on my own I was able to use it. 3- Was told not to use the washer dryer. hmmmm.. why am I paying you then? 4- Was told not to use the dishwasher. I should've challenged things at this point but I didn't. We washed everything by hand. 5- When camped only one zone would work despite spending 45 minutes on the phone trying to troubleshoot. It would only work when the diesel generator was working and no I wasn't plugged into a 30 amp box. 6- After returning in the same condition I got it in although at 1/2 tank, I was charged $833!!!! This is the first time I've heard from this guy since the time he lied to me about the warranty basically they refusing to help me out because I made complaints about their horrible service. I would suggest to anybody these people are liars. It's a horrible dealership. I would not buy anything from them. There's plenty of other RV dealerships that will take ownership and responsibility of their mistakes. I spent $80,000 for a warranty in a van and I'm getting nothing for it. While with Gabby we expressed what we wanted to look at and we walked out to look at the two travel trailers we would have been interested in. We then went to the office and told her we can buy outright. She pushed us to finance it to then we found out we couldn't finance the travel trailer we really wanted. We checked out another trailer that was cheaper and stated we had the money for it yet again and was pushed for financing. Once we went to pick up the trailer we met with service and got it all hooked up and made sure everything was safe to roll down the road. Never to see Gabby again or even walk through the trailer before we signed papers or anything. We were new to trailer ownership and were not shown anything or told anything. Needless to say they left us in the dark and made sure anything couldn't come back to them for safety issues otherwise I felt it was a quick money maker for them. Not worried about the customer at all. On April 21 while packing basement fell on previous tenants property, hit my head and back on a work bench, not ours. Needed to be taken to ER for staples in the back of my head. Only spoke with his son and receptionist. Mr. Ziegler finally returned from Florida last month. Was told we would get our deposit back. We were never late except the last month. He started working with a management company, did not even know they existed. We dealt solely with Mr. Ziegler. He kept our security and added another 600 dollars. Saying we ruined an already stained rug about 15 years old, left garbage was previous tenants, and broken window. This management company came two months after we moved out. Of course the place was dusty. They window was actually the cover of a ceiling light and plastic from when after 4 years he fixed the leaking roof and the plastic fell out of the light fixture with the water coming down. I have left messages no response for over two months to get this news. These people he hired to over see his properties had never once been in the apartment until this time. They didn't even know who I was. Mark my advice don't do business with him.

I complained, and they will not budge. I will never go back. Terms of the rental are a little ridiculous as well. We had to overnight a check to pay or they surcharge you 15%, yes 15%, to use a credit card with all this nasty non-refundabale mumbo jumbo on the contract. I got over the contract and overnighting cash payment, but I can not get over the hidden charge. I will not go back.
