Sonoma Court Shops is a courtyard across the street from historic Sonoma Plaza, an outdoor space full of shops, wine tasting rooms and galleries. Never knew it was there, a truly surprise find! Wine county treasure. Fountains, arches covered in greenery, retail shops, little oasis of pleasure and joy. Gastronomically satisfied belly, after delicious brunch in San Francisco, called for relaxation with a good bottle of wine. It's time for the soul. Over the Golden Gate I go! And back into yelping, after a month-long break, taken for full immersion in work. Life's been busy, my friends! That's how I do things - I dive in! With everything I have! Drove to wine country and ended up in Sonoma Court Shops walkways. It's a Vine Alley, come explore! A welcoming European detour is sure to please. You'll thank me later! I landed at Sosie tasting room. Had an amazing time. Buonissimo! Hope you're finding simple joys in everyday life. A wish ambitious enough? :-) *I love you, baby, and if it's quite all right I need you, baby, to warm these lonely nights I love you, baby Trust in me when I say I love you, baby... But the framed color photo of a soulful content face painted in a gorgeous shade of blue caught my eye. You can say... I made eye contact. I moved in closer to the shop window to get a better look and the next thing I knew I was walking into the gallery. The Lisa Kristine gallery. Who the heck is Lisa Kristine?! I was thinking this to myself because her photos are pieces of art. The walled photos were beautiful. Mesmerizing photos of places and people in gorgeous foreign lands. Some of the people were from indengious cultures but she captured their joy and pride. Anyway Lisa Kristine I found out is an award winning Humanitarian photographer, activist, and speaker. Her photos and photo books are shown and sold in the gallery and online. The photo books are a more affordable option vs the art photos. Another favorite photo is a black and white of aged weathered hands grasping the flow of running water from a hydraulic manual pump. Gorgeous storytelling in a moment of time photo. Step on into the gallery across from the Sonoma Plaza. Maybe something will catch your eye. #lisakristinephotojournalist #lisakristinephotogallerysonoma
