I think the bar and outdoor patio is beautiful and well decorated, I just wish it was bigger. It's also an added bonus they have a small parking lot across the street, you don't JUST have street parking. Next, the food. I will admit that this bar food is not cheap, it's priced higher, because the dishes are "elevated". However, I don't mind paying a higher price for higher QUALITY. Everything I've eaten from here is incredible, delicious, fresh, with great presentation. WE EAT WITH OUR EYES. You can tell that the chefs in the kitchen put love and creativity into these dishes. The standard menu options ARE standard, but like I said, the freshness and flavor is there. Where this place really shines, is it's specials. Be sure to check out their Facebook page and stay up to date on limited release dishes, they're bomb. Delicious cocktails as well. Finally, the service. Here is where I want to knock off a star, but I can't, because the food is too good to not keep me from coming back. But the staff can use additional customer service training. I haven't sat at the bar yet, so I don't know if that might be a different experience. But when I've sat at a table (you seat yourself when you walk in by the way, there is no hostess), my waitresses are always in such a rush, that they don't spend a second more at your table than they HAVE to. I've ALWAYS had to ask them about the specials that I've seen on Facebook, I'm never told them when they come over to ask for my order, I'm the one asking them if the specials are still available. They definitely lose out on money from drinks bc a lot of the time we end up getting one drink each, but the server never comes back or asks if we want anything else so we just have the one with our meal and leave to go elsewhere. It also affects their tips bc the more people order the higher the tip... So... ??? Unless it's just laziness and they don't care about the $ bc they all do like to hang out talking instead of checking on tables. The other night we were told the bar closed a little after 9, but they're opened til 10 and there were still other tables there and some had just arrived. So why close it way before closing time?
