Dr. Nobuhara is a graet doctor. He has been my primary physician for many years, and his care and advise has been the best.

I don't know anybody here that could give me a referral or recommendation. Holy Smokes did I hit the jackpot! Dr. Borchardt really knows his medicine! But not only was I impressed with his knowledge, but he talks to you on your level. And he LISTENS to his patients! I went to Mountain Point Hospital for the only way I could describe as a heart flutter or skipping, shortness of breath and a little light headed at times. He asked me questions that no other Doctor had ever bothered asking me. He listened well and took notes. Without going into all the specifics, Dr. Borchardt ran a plethora of thorough tests including a Stress-Echo. After I mentioned to him that I had been observed as having Sleep Apnea, it was like a puzzle coming together for me even tho Dr. Borchardt had figured everything out. This is a guy I would like to have not only as my Cardiologist but as my friend! So if anybody in Utah needs a good Cardiologist, this man is worth the trip! If you've been putting off going to the Doctor with any symptoms like shortness of breath, uncomfortable feeling in your chest, being light headed... go see Dr. Borchardt!! The sooner the better! I can't thank Dr. Borchardt enough! Well educated, smart, listens and communicates well... yet very down to earth and humble. Other physicians take note...

The providers and pharmacy staff at the University of Utah Stansbury Park Center are excellent…read more They are professional, helpful, and clearly care about their patients, which I really appreciate. Unfortunately, the facility itself is a major drawback. The space is extremely small, and the waiting area is shared between urgent care, primary care check-in, and the pharmacy. Because of this setup, there is very little patient privacy. You can easily hear why others are checking in, their co-pay amounts, and even details about prescriptions being picked up--all while sitting in the waiting room. The exam rooms are even smaller they are barely large enough for the patient and the doctor. Very small and uncomfortable. Despite ongoing updates like new chairs and a redesigned check-in counter, the University hasn't addressed the biggest issue: the size and layout of the facility. Cosmetic upgrades don't solve the underlying problem. Another concern is safety. The parking lot is poorly lit during darker months, which makes it feel unsafe when coming or going in the evening. Overall, while the staff are great, the facility is outdated and far too small for the level of services it provides. The University should consider building a new, properly designed location instead of continuing to operate in a cramped strip mall space. With a larger space this facility could offer out-patient testing like colonoscopies and other procedures right in the Tooele Valley instead of having to go to the Salt Lake Valley for additional care.
