But not only was I impressed with his knowledge, but he talks to you on your level. And he LISTENS to his patients! I went to Mountain Point Hospital for the only way I could describe as a heart flutter or skipping, shortness of breath and a little light headed at times. He asked me questions that no other Doctor had ever bothered asking me. He listened well and took notes. Without going into all the specifics, Dr. Borchardt ran a plethora of thorough tests including a Stress-Echo. After I mentioned to him that I had been observed as having Sleep Apnea, it was like a puzzle coming together for me even tho Dr. Borchardt had figured everything out. This is a guy I would like to have not only as my Cardiologist but as my friend! So if anybody in Utah needs a good Cardiologist, this man is worth the trip! I confirmed my time directly with the clinic, but when I arrived, I was told the appointment was for a different time. Even though this appeared to be a clinic error, there was no apology or attempt to accommodate me. Mistakes can happen, but professionalism is shown by how they're handled. I lost an entire workday and a long drive for nothing, with no accountability from staff. I expected better communication and support from Intermountain Health.

Dr. Klein is a great physician, but his support staff definitely needs a lot of help in customer care. This is certainly how you lose patients. I couldn't get someone to get me a sleep apnea machine and finally after 3 months from when I had my doctor's visit did Becky call me back saying she had someone who could do it for me, and she was returning the voicemail I had made to Dr. Klein asking him to call me back. I even tried finding the hospital Dr. Klein was at (as he travels to different hospitals) and tried writing him a letter about my poor experience, but got the mail returned back to me.
