Dr. Matt Call is thorough and patient. I have just started with him but he is knowledgeable about my RMR and I trust his care.

I wish I would've read the Google reviews before going here. The experience I had with the…read moreentitled phlebotomist and the staff who had no direction to give me was totally unacceptable. I basically had to do their job for them. The phlebotomist over here could not draw by blood after giving up in 2 pokes in 2 separate sessions. Granted I'm a hard poke and I get that but when I asked if there's an alternate person that can try instead or if there's another facility I can go to get my blood drawn, she insisted that she's the only one that can do this special test from this special lab. I found it very hard to believe that I have to be reliant on one person who took a 6 week class on phlebotomy to do this test and because she couldn't do her job, I couldn't get this test done to give me the information I need to stay healthy. When I told this to the front office, they backed her up saying she's the only person in all of Utah County that can draw blood and send it to a specific lab. When I argued about this, they gave in and gave me the tubes and packaging to go to another facility. Lo and behold, the phlebotomist at the AF hospital was able to get me with one poke. So was the problem me or them? The problem with the front office is that they didn't give me any direction or any paperwork to go with the packaging. I had to remind them to give me the UPS shipping label in order for me to ship it to the lab. I also had to call them back to make sure they sent my lab orders to the hospital. With no direction, empty tubes, and no instructions on how to properly ship the package, the lab received my blood but couldn't test it. So then I looked on the lab's website and it took me 5 minutes to find out that there are 2 other draw sites that works with that lab in Utah County. When I went to the alternate draw site, they had one piece of paper with written instructions on how to properly ship the blood work to the lab. Now how come the front office didn't send me with that one piece of paper to the hospital? Oh yeah, I had to think for them finding my own alternative to get my blood drawn and take it to the UPS store myself essentially doing their job for them. I can't believe these people can't think outside of the box and didn't attempt to help me find an alternative. They are set in tunnel vision when it comes to their own and no one can do any wrong. So when I brought this up to the doctor she also defended the entitlement of the phlebotomist. I asked her if the phlebotomist was out sick or on vacation there's no one to cover for her and she said no. I'm an accounting manager with 5 people under me and I can tell you for a fact that everyone is replaceable and should have a replacement in case one person is out. At this point, I'm about ready to pay $495 to take a 6 week course in phlebotomy and draw my own blood. It's not rocket science people, it just takes common sense. I hate to be told that I'm reliant on one person that can't do her job and then the staff and doctor back her up when I knew there were other alternatives. If they are likely to blow me off like that, then why should I go back.

Quite personable. NO ONE answers the phone. Unless you call for a billing question for an invoice sent ten months later. The receptionist needs to be replaced. Distant, cold, and acts like everything is an interruption. Ornery. Finally got the invoice paid today. After the billing department said they'd been sending it for months. Nope. Oh I've also called to check on an appointment date to make sure I didn't miss it. No return call. Having my records sent to another facility. ANSWER YOUR DAMN PHONES!!
