Boxing is great for cardio and I definitely love it! I am NOT a professional by any means nor do I claim to be, but I don't let that stop me from learning here. This place has INCREDIBLE instructors-- many of which are former competitors or professionals, but they don't gloat or talk about that. All they care is about teaching you the art of boxing, perfecting your technique and sharpening your skills and mind so you can be ready for a fight -- if that's what you actually want to do, or just spar. The staff here train your brain. They give you the tools and fundamentals that will help you in the ring, such as stress, push towards whatever hurdle you're forcing through at this gym, but also in life. Very convenient location near by my house. I can literally walk to their building and BOOM I am there, it's that close! If you're a novice, beginner or seasoned pro. I have been part of this boxing gym for about 7 years. The coaches are professionals at what they do. Carina Moreno is a 5-TIME world champion in 3 different weight classes. There is no doubt that they know what they are doing. Some of the most outstanding facts are their structure, passion, family-oriented approach, friendliness, supportiveness, cleanliness (impeccable), and disciplined foundation. FUN FACT about Carina; if she is not training, she is cleaning the gym. Lol Don't tell her I said that. There are youth classes and adult classes for early birds and for those who can make it in the afternoon. I usually attend the adult class and my teenage daughter also joins the class. I feel like this class has allowed us to spend a little more time together while each doing self-care and building healthy habits. The students are all very positive, patient, and supportive. There is a great friendship and family vibe in this gym. The coach Rick Noble, and Carina Moreno are willing to support their students and competitive fighters to accomplish their goals. If you have Rick and Carina in your corner, you better believe that you are in trusted hands. We are accepting and welcoming of diverse populations and a safe environment. I might annoy the coaches sometimes because that's how I show them, love, lol... but they accept me for who I am and accept even the things that they do not understand. An anecdote from the 5 am class. While in class, I was in the last 2 rounds of bag work, and I felt so tired, but then I saw from the corner of my eye some ladies who just started boxing and never had done boxing in their lives. It made me remember my beginnings in boxing. By them just trying, I was motivated and inspired by their strength to continue. We are a team, with emotional strength, healing, growing, and learning. We are a community within the community. If you are interested in boxing, this is the gym to be in. If you are not boxing with us, I don't know what you are waiting for. read more

Worst customer service ever!! I've had 2 very bad experiences with this place. I came with my mom about a year ago to help her buy furniture. He promised it would be in by a certain date but several days passed and we hadn't heard from them. So I called and he said he was very behind on deliveries and would call me back. He didn't. We played this game for several days and finally he told me he lost his delivery guy and couldn't deliver the sofas alone. I told him I would be there to help him unload. Finally after about a week of phone tag he delivers them about 2 hours late. This is after about 2 weeks of him having the sofas in his possession. About 3 weeks ago I make the mistake of going back. Only reason is because his prices are reasonable. So I decide to give him a another chance. I tell him I'm looking for a replacement to one piece of my sectional sofa. He says he has to look it up but his computer is in the middle of an update. Takes my phone number and tells me he'll call me back. He didn't, which I didn't expect. I call him and he says his brother is on the computer, so he'll call me back. It's excuse after excuse with this guy. I am shocked he is still in business. 3 weeks later I'm still waiting. I prefer to pay a little more somewhere else than to deal with this. read more

I love this store! Beautiful selection and the guys that work there are so so sweet and always super friendly and helpful. They work so hard and have done a great job setting that place up. I don't recommend this place at all!! Had the two worst experiences dealing with these guys!!! These are not serious professional business people. The first one being late December 2016 I had paid for everything I ordered up front cash. It took them about a month to deliver my furniture after the delivery date they gave me. Not all the furniture was delivered at the same time. After a few calls of asking about my delayed furniture Daniel one of the owners said his brother had gone to Mexico and that he was by himself with the business and that was the reason they were so behind. They ended up delivering my furniture after his brother came back from Mexico. The second time was just recently in April 2018. Even though I had had a bad experience the first time i decided to give them a second chance because they're furniture is at a much lower affordable prices than at other furniture places. Well when I went there to order a bed and a dinning table he was in the middle of moving out of their east lake location. He gave me a total estimate of all the things I wanted said he needed a initial deposit in order for him to order the things. So I gave him $500 deposit he said that the bed frame I wanted was out of stock and that I should choose another one or I could wait till next month and he would see if it was available. I waited the following month I gave him a call and nothing he said he checked and was still not available to wait another month maybe it would be in stock by then. It was I called the following month he said it was available and that he would order it and have it ready by two weeks. I Called two weeks later he said he had the merchandise and would deliver it the following week. It was now mid July 2018 three months later after I had initially ordered the furniture finally the day of the delivery was here and nothing he didn't show up so I called no answer. Since I knew where he lived because he was my mother's neighbor I decided to stop by his house on a Tuesday and he was outside his house when he saw me he was shocked to see me. I asked about the furniture I had ordered and he said "oh I'm sorry I forgot to drop off your furniture" (what professional business ppl forget to deliver their paid orders?) at this point I was done with his excuses didn't want to deal with him anymore I just wanted my money back. Daniel said he didn't have the money on hand and would give it to me on Friday to come back on Friday. Long story short he has been giving me excuses on him not being home and now he doesn't answer my calls and when I go look for him his family lies and tells me he is not there!! I'm in the process of taking him to court. I don't even know why they still in business?? Now I believe their new location is in Salinas so just watch out for these guys if you come across them. I hope my personal experience with these ppl help others. read more
