I made a quick stop into Tea Time one day because I was craving boba. I wasn't paying attention…read morewhen I Yelped boba shops, so I was a bit disappointed when I walked in only to discover that it's actually one of those high tea places. You know, the kind with those cute little sandwiches and clotted cream? Yeah, that. Now, I have been wanting to try a place like this since I never got to go when I was visiting the U.K. in November. One day I will actually sit down and enJOY what they have to offer. This time around though, I just ended up getting an iced tea. The lady suggested their Peach Apricot Black Tea, so I took her up on it. It wasn't really sweet, so I added a packet of Stevia. It was perfect and hit the spot on a hot afternoon in Scottsdale. This cute little shop also sells a lot of merch. You'll find all the cute things tea-related. They also sell special chocolates you can purchase individually. I believe they also sell some pastries if you're there early enough. Tea Time would be a great place to host a girls' day or a date with your mini! It's nicely decorated and the staff is super friendly. Ohhh, and as I checked out, the lady noticed my scrubs and asked if I work nearby. I said yes and she gave me a discount. How cool! I always appreciate a nice gesture. I will be back again sooner or later. Mom and pop shops such as this one will win me over time and time again. Can't wait to try their afternoon tea with the whole spread!!

Everyone in the store is always so nice and accommodating, I have had some lovely chats with the staff. My favorite tea in the Prickly Pear Black Tea. Tastes wonderful hot or iced. Not over flavored or artificial tasting like some flavored teas you may have tried elsewhere. A perfect blend. Try it you'll like it! A true Arizona gem. The only slight issue with the store is that it is in the heart of the touristy area of Old Town Scottsdale, so finding parking anywhere near the store can be a frustration at peak times. I wish they had a couple dedicated grab and go spots out front. P.S. Another thing I love about this place is you can pick out any of their teas and they will brew you a cup which you can get hot or iced to try before you buy.

We were steeped in pleasure as we sampled the different types and our olfactory senses were intrigued. The store was laid out well and super organized. I bought several bags including an earl grey with lavender, a few prickly pear blends, and an interesting hazelnut cookie black tea. Can't wait to try them all! Yes, the prices were a tad high, but that's to be expected in a "brew-tiful" specialty shop in a tourist area!

They both loved their drinks. Mine was good too, but I ordered the banana matcha and it tasted more like a banana foster style syrup, which is totally fine, just not what I am used to. That part is on me, not them, because their matcha quality was good. The staff was great and really fun to talk to. One of the guys told us he was from Dallas and said we were his third Houston customers of the day since there was a University of Houston vs University of Arizona game that week. Houston won, so it was a fun time to be in Arizona lol I am glad we ended up here even though it was not part of the plan. My friends enjoyed their drinks and the service was really nice. I feel like if I ordered a different flavor I would have liked mine even more.

All of the baristas are so nice and helpful with recommendations. Specialty coffee generally takes a little bit of extra time but the baristas do a great job of keeping the line going and getting drinks out quick while still making connections with the customers. I'm in the service industry and am very particular with where I choose to spend my money because I value high quality food, drinks, and service. I love that they incorporated tea in the cocktails. I also loved the mismatched team sets everything was unique and whimsical... The downside - the atmosphere The room was dark and had more of a whiskey lounge vibe than afternoon tea. Guests were dressed in bright colors and some had fun hats on so I don't think the space was a great choice for the event. There also was no music which just felt a bit dull Would I recommend? For the price- sure it's a decently fun experience but go in knowing what to expect
