She was very thorough with explaining everything I needed to know for the first visit. My husband and I were extremely impressed during our first visits. The dental hygienist was gentle around my problem areas and explained everything that she was doing prior to starting the procedure. She asked if I had any questions throughout the cleaning which I appreciated because I was very nervous. It is obvious that Dr. Slack takes pride in his work and cares about his patients. He was friendly and non-judgmental throughout the entire visit. At the end of the visit, Jessica met with me again and priced out all of the procedures recommended by Dr. Slack. She had my insurance information and gave me totals that I will pay out of pocket for each service. As a grad student with limited income, I really appreciate knowing this information upfront. The prices for all of the services were reasonable. In general, dental work isn't cheap, but Riverview Dental offers payment plans and multiple payment options for people who can't afford a huge payment at one time. Overall, I am very impressed with Riverview Dental. I will be recommending Dr. Slack and his staff to others who are looking for a dentist in the Columbus area.

Granted, I am on blood thinners which I forgot to mention , however I was not bleeding from any other place and I remember specifically the moment I was cut because there was a sharp pain and I winced and the hygienist apologized. When my bill came, I asked if there was anything they could do about the $340 charge they sent me, I had lost a half day of work because I had a mouth full of blood, I am a bartender and can not work like that. They got the dentist on the phone who offered to take $100 off of the bill. 4 months later they send me a followup bill for the remaining $100 with a note that reads "I couldn't get permission to write off more", "more" meaning anything, despite the dentist approving the discount. $100 to a dental office is nothing and I understand they are never going to admit fault, but this would have gone a long way to keeping me as a patient. I understand that I am on blood thinners, but in the 8 months I have been on them I have never had a wound that wouldn't heal like that.

By evidence of the documentation this business set me they: applied incorrect secondary insurance claims and rolled my adult children's costs into my account. This business has all necessary information to determine my adult children have their own insurance and that my secondary insurance was not to be applied to their accounts as they are not covered under my insurance. * There is NO evidence you have sent a claim to my primary insurance; there is no record of payment by them. * They should have separated out each patient's account/billing and amount owed. * They should not have credited inappropriate accounts with my secondary insurance.

Dr. Santilli makes you feel comfortable when you may be feeling anxious about that teeth cleaning or filling. The dental hygienists are the best of course! It is truly like getting a cosmetic spa experience for either 30 minutes to an hour depending on the situation and what your there for. I go for my yearly cleaning and also learned with Dr. Santilli I need a night guard to protect my teeth from grinding at night. I never knew my bite was off until I visited Dr. Santilli. My last dentist would just clean my teeth and say thanks for visiting. Dr. Santilli looks at everything from teeth sensitivity, grinding, gum issues, etc. I really get a comprehensive analysis of my teeth here which really makes me feel comfortable and at ease with my experience every time I come to visit the dentist. I never knew I needed medication for my sensitive teeth until I visited doctor Dr. Santilli, the last dentist didn't address those major issues I had with my teeth hurting to hot and cold foods. He said it would be fine. After selling me, and fitting me with the crown I had terrible pain with the temporary crown. Long story short they convinced me the new crown would fix it which it did not. I had to go to an Endodontist to get a root canal done through the $2000 crown and spend another $1800 for the root canal. Then another $250 to get the crown filling. I've lost trust in this provider and the manager was not willing to listen to my concerns and acted like this was normal business.
