Finally tried it today! I have mixed feelings, I thought it was OK but will definitely give it another try. I got the lunch special 2 meat combo. Pork Ribs - there is bite to it and not completely off the bone. But the end piece of the ribs were tough and not rendered completely. Brisket - I asked for the lean part. It was ok not the best nor worst. One thing to note, and maybe its preference from person to person, I thought gave me too much cinnamon! As a result, it really overpowered the meats' original flavors. Service - it was not busy, there were 4 guys yet they somehow f up my order. I asked for potato salad and they gave me brisket rice! 3/5 overall, but would luv to give this place another try.

If I can give 3.5 stars I would. Tried this bbq place the other day. We did take out. My photos are showing half of a portion because my spouse took half. We did the 3 meat combo and a banana bread pudding. Service was prompt, there's an option to order online for pick up. The restaurant is inside the mall so you can shop and dine. The place is very lively. Great for family. The brisket was flavorful one one side, I wish it was flavorful throughout. The meat side was bland. Pudding was great, not super sweet. The pull pork was my fave!!

Dang I was really excited to try Noah's BBQ, but it was very underwhelming for my first time. We got brisket and ribs along with mac, creamed corn, and coleslaw. The brisket was borderline cold and somehow dry, but had a nice amount of fat to meat ratio. However, there was no tendernism to be found and memes aside, for a BBQ restaurant to have subpar brisket is a let down. Hopefully this was an one off situation and it isn't always like that, but all three orders of brisket were disappointing. The ribs were moist and tender and packed lots of flavor though so I'd recommend trying them. The sides were decent, but nothing to write home about. I enjoyed the coleslaw the most out of the three sides. Portion size wise I thought it was alright for the price. The service was fine and they offered recommendations and samples for the sides which was greatly appreciated. The seating area itself was where I had some additional issues. The workers started mopping the floor an hour before closing and it made the floor dangerously slippery. There were no wet floor caution signs around the seating area either (only had one towards the back where you exit to the parking lot), which is a safety hazard for those who may have been unaware. We had to carefully exit the restaurant after we ate and when we reached the mall's flooring, there was immediately no issues with traction. I do applaud the fact that the workers try to keep the tables clean between each subsequent group, but rudely enough there were some customers who just left all their trash on the table instead of disposing it themselves. They were unfortunately out of sausage when I got there, but I'd come back to try it and give them a second chance on the brisket. Also the smoked wings and pork belly burnt ends sound good so I hope those don't disappoint either! Hoping to have a solid BBQ spot in the area so I will update when I get a chance to return.

Brisket paired with Mac and cheese, brisket fried rice. And potato salad. Complimentary pickle spear, pickled onion, and bread.

This South Shore BBQ spot is a hidden gem. I was reading quite a few negative reviews claiming "I'm from Texas" or "I'm a chef," and that Noah doesn't provide quality grub...but let's be real: expecting true Texas BBQ in MA is like expecting bánh mì here to taste like it does in Vietnam. Of course it's not exact -- but this is the closest you'll get, and it's damn good. The brisket and pork belly burnt ends were crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned -- borderline heavy on the salt, which slightly overpowered the BBQ sauce, but still delicious. Sides like mac & cheese, creamed corn, and potato salad were spot-on. I do wish they included jalapeños for a little kick, but the pickle spear, pickled onions, and soft bread were perfect complimentary adds. Service was top-notch. The chef personally checked on us multiple times and even brought out extra meat straight off the smoker because he didn't think the first batch was good enough (we thought it was already excellent). Staff were helpful and went above and beyond to provide great service. Given that they recently opened, they're definitely still ironing out some things (menu availability, consistency), but this place has serious potential. The ventilation for the smokers isn't so great so I'd suggest a good scrub down of the establishment on a regular basis to help with the grease build up and sticky floor feeling. But with that said, the atmosphere is cute and inviting. Support your local gems -- especially when they're serving up flavor like this and trying their best to deliver good food! And honestly, those Negative Nancy's should just not eat out in general if they're expecting a 5 course michelin star meal in a mall for less than the cost of mcdonalds.

Definitely worth the try. The line to order was long, and so was the wait time for the food (which is understandable considering that they are a new restaurant). I can say the food was good, the pulled pork wasn't my favorite. The brisket was good and the ribs were very tender. The mac and cheese was pretty basic but not bad. I loved the fries. I was turned off by the pickles touching the tray on my meal so I didn't bother trying my pickles. I can say it was pretty busy inside Noah's BBQ so plan ahead for the wait

Noah's BBQ has been open less than a day, and I'm pretty sure I'm already their biggest fan. I don't want to sound over the top, but this might just be the best BBQ I've had in Massachusetts. The brisket and pulled pork were spot on - smoky, flavorful, tender, and juicy. The brisket was so good I actually went back later the same day for seconds. Their Noah's house BBQ sauce takes it to another level too, I was getting almost a Carolina gold flavor from it. The sides hold their own as well. The mac and cheese, creamed corn, and potato salad are all worth trying, but the potato salad was my favorite. And don't skip the bread pudding it tasted exactly like strawberry shortcake and was fantastic. I can't wait to see what they do with their specials and the rest of the menu. The South Shore is lucky to have a place this good right in the neighborhood.

My partner and I got the 3 meat combo + side (brisket, pulled pork, and jalapeño cheddar house-made sausage + mac and cheese) and 2 meat combo + side (brisket and pork ribs + green spaghetti) - TASTE: 4/5 - highlights included the super tasty jalapeño cheddar sausage, fatty brisket, green spaghetti, and Noah's BBQ sauce! Great smoky flavor all around. Would come back to try the brisket fried rice TEXTURE: 4/5 - tender meats and saucy green spaghetti PRICE: 4/5 - total came to $64, somewhat expected for a BBQ place SERVING SIZE: 3/5 - portions seemed small, and especially small when laid out on the big tray. Might have improved since our visit during opening week SERVICE: 4/5 - walked in on a Friday for lunch and there were a couple people in line. The owners of Noah's BBQ, and sister restaurant Birdie's which I love, were welcoming and helpful w the menu ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - cool to see the old Chipotle space transformed into Noah's BBQ w roadhouse-themed decor PARKING: 5/5 - plenty of parking at South Shore Plaza mall's lots and garages

Service was excellent. They brought the food to us at our table. Food was delicious and definitely was a taste of southern food. It is a spot that I would return to and recommend to others. Great vibes for small groups, medium size and large groups. Great spot to eat at after shopping around south shore plaza mall!

Noah's BBQ is really good for being in a mall location. Apparently they import wood from Texas for the smoker. The menu is fairly priced and has the usual options. There is a fountain drink and condiments section where you can find their sauces. I liked the sweet flavor of their barbecue sauce. The brisket is very good and the ribs is fall off the bone. And some sauce on top and you're good to eat. The mac and cheese is probably one of the best I've had as a side.

Noah's BBQ is a great addition to SSP mall! They are an Asian-owned establishment & replaced the Chipotle that was once here, now offering American style BBQ! Today we decided to stop by after doing a little bit of shopping for a quick bite. We ordered 1/3 lb brisket w/ a side of corn + fountain drink to try. Our order was ready within 5 min or so & the brisket was very tender & we were able to pull it apart w/ ease. We paired the brisket w/ their signature Noah's BBQ sauce, which was sweet + tangy. Kind of reminded me of sweet & sour sauce but it worked well. Definitely needed the sauce though. The creamed corn was a nice side that had good flavor & was definitely creamy. Perfect temperature. We visited around 1pm and they didn't have any ribs and other meats we wanted to try; luckily they did have brisket. Overall, I can see myself coming back again & am happy we have another BBQ spot on the South Shore!

Since the restaurant opened, I've been meaning to try it out since there aren't really many BBQ options around the South Shore area. We went in on a Saturday night around 7PM and everything was still available except for the turkey. We ordered ribs, prime brisket, pulled pork, jalapeño cheddar brisket sausage, and smoked wings. For sides, we went with the brisket fried rice, baked beans, and cornbread. The meats all had great smoke flavor, but the brisket and wings were the best bites of the night for us. The brisket had a great bark, and that bit of fat melted away with the lean meat; no sauce was needed. The wings were beautifully lacquered and sweet. Honestly, this blows all the other BBQ in Boston out of the water. We also had a great interaction with one of the co-owners, Eric, and the rest of his staff were amazing too. Already telling our friends in the South Shore area to go try it. Can't wait to go back and try the turkey!

True Rating: 3.7 / 5 Noah's BBQ has a great setup with a comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. The service was a little slow even though it wasn't busy, but everyone was kind, which made the wait easier. I ordered to go and got the two meat one side combo with ribs, brisket, and cornbread for about $26. I originally wanted mac and cheese, but they were already out less than an hour after opening on a Monday, which was disappointing. Still, the cornbread was solid. The brisket had just the right amount of fat, the ribs were tender and flavorful, and the pickled red onions with the side pickle helped balance the richness. They could've added more barbecue sauce since it was only lightly drizzled on top, but everything was cooked really well. The portion ended up being enough, though it felt a bit overpriced for what you get. Overall, it's a solid spot with food that delivers on flavor.

Ordered the 3-meat combo (prime brisket, chopped brisket and pork rib) Overpriced imo. Prime brisket: Very good, tender, flavorful Chopped brisket: Not much flavor, just very salty Pork rib: a little dry, flavor is ok. Like others say: if it's a single rib, that rib better smack but it doesn't I understand the high operating cost inside of a mall, but still didn't think the price was justified for the quality/portion All the specifics have already been said with others who rated 1-3 stars and tread lightly with reviews. Most of the 5-star ones are over the top exaggerated with a high likelihood they're from friends and family. Nothing wrong with being supportive, but too much of that creates super high expectations that can lead to disappointment.

From the outside, the restaurant looks plain and unassuming, but once inside, it's modern, comfortable, and inviting. We had made reservations, but when we arrived, the place wasn't too crowded. The staff greeted us warmly and explained that we could either do the full rodizio or choose specific meats and pay by the pound. Naturally, we went for the full rodizio experience. The salad bar was a pleasant surprise. Unlike other Brazilian steakhouses that focus mainly on cold cuts, cheeses, and salads, Spettus had a smaller selection of cold items but an impressive variety of hot dishes such as pastas, meatballs, rice, and chicken parm. Everything was flavorful and fresh, and honestly, I could've been perfectly happy just eating from the salad bar alone. We also noticed that a good number of customers were doing takeout, which might explain the larger selection of hot foods. Then came the main event, the meats. Since it was a slower evening and we were the only table doing the full rodizio, we basically had personalized service. The gentleman serving the meats was friendly, attentive, and clearly took pride in what he was serving. He offered great recommendations, took our requests, and playfully encouraged us to take "just one more slice" each time he came around. Every cut we tried was excellent, but the garlic steak really stood out for its flavor. The sausage was fantastic, and the absolute stars of the night were the picanha and the grilled pineapple. I could eat those two forever and be completely content. Overall, Spettus Steak House delivered a top-notch experience that easily rivals some of the larger chain Brazilian steakhouses. If I find myself back in the Boston area, I'll definitely be returning.
