I didn't want to go through Amazon because it seems like half the things I buy from Amazon for personal use (epilator, tweezers, hair dryer, straightening iron) seem to have already been used and returned, then sold again, so I didn't want to trust Amazon with the purchase of "sterile" anything. Alex was super helpful in assisting me with some information. I can't wait to get home and do my "bathroom surgery" with these sterile scalpels. I love this place. The staff is amazing. A lot of their stuff is catered more to commercial growers but they have offered to order smaller size options for home growers and hobbyists like myself. 2 years ago I picked up gardening as a hobby to get away from all the computer screens in my life. Since then if I couldn't find what I was looking for online I would pop by and ask whoever was working for advice. They have always been more than happy to help. They have given me free samples and solid advice even if that meant getting an item somewhere else! They genuinely seem happy to talk shop and help you get growing!! The best One Stop (or 50 stop in my case) hydro store I have ever shopped at. I've tried out a couple of big names and three or four small businesses for my botanical needs and believe me; none compare to No-Stress. It's in the name. You walk in to an almost perfectly organized store, get what you need, and there's no trouble. If Andy doesn't have something in stock, no worries! He can order you a part, or more than one, and you can pick it up the next week. But I haven't had to do that yet. Great for a quantity shopper, even better for a quality shopper. All the best brands, great prices, great atmosphere. If you're lucky, you can watch the (now adolescent) store puppy, Charlie, run around. To make it short: Great for setting up a garden space, I always get help when it comes to maintenance, and just general plant advice. Stop on by and check them out! read more

Outstanding and friendly service, competitive pricing. Most local hydroponics shops are not set up for small-scale and retail customers, forcing you to pay for more supplies than you need, that would mostly expire and go bad before it could be used. No Stress was able to order 8 or 16 oz nutrients where others only sell quarts or larger, AND they were able to order it overnight, so they actually came in faster and cheaper than eBay or Amazon. They even had a cash discount. Informed employees finish the package. My only gripe is the gawdawful traffic on Melrose Bl. It's nice to be able to get supplies in small quantities locally, on short notice, at affordable prices. Beats ordering off eBay or Amazon, waiting a week, and hoping the stuff is fresh. With small-scale hydro shops going in and out of business all the time, I hope this place has some staying power. read more

I gotta say, the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The manager didn't mind me asking questions and I actually enjoyed a good conversation with a fellow farmer.
