We went to Doucette's (Pizza Twice) for some fast food-esq take out to bring back to our cottage. We got the 'cheesey donair fingers' and a 12 inch 'double bacon cheeseburger sub' to share. The donair fingers were basically garlic fingers with pieces of donair meat on them - you can't really do garlic fingers wrong, so these were pretty decent. The sub on the other hand was anything but cheeseburger-y, and I don't recall any bacon at all. It consisted of a mushy hamburger spread with cheese, onions and marinara sauce. Who puts marinara on a cheeseburger? The best part about this entire sub was the baguette-bun, it was fresh, big, soft and delicious - I would just try a different version next time. This store is one of your only options for treats and snacks in Ingonish - it is kind of pricey though. The girl behind the Pizza Twice counter was... emotionless. But, the lady at the cash was super nice so it made up for it!

My last visit here just a few weeks ago. My group of 7 had made reservations. I ordered the Haddock dinner with mashed potato. After an hour wait I received it. The haddock was dry and cold. My mashed potato was barely warm and my broccoli was over cooked , limp and cold. Others in my group had similar complaints. The waitress was new and apologized but there was no offer of compensation for our food. I was extremely disappointed and I hope this is not an indication of what we can expect in future food quality at the Mull. I know it will be a while before I return.
