My son just finished an epic mountain bike camp! I can not say enough about this. My son is shy and can get easily freaked by heights and such. Both Chris and Kami took him under their wing, made him comfortable, and two days later he was riding some pretty impressive single-track trails. We are huge fans of No Limits Day Camp. Chris and Kami are the owners and the primary "fun" leaders at the Camp. In addition to being good communicators with the parents, they also create a warm, welcoming environment for the kids with a variety of activities. In addition to the day to day awesomeness, they offer "elective courses" for the kids like Basketball, Mountain Biking, Cooking, Carpentry, the list goes on. There's an extra fee but it's well worth it and my 6-year old is always on the go. When she's old enough she'll have a place for homework and quiet time if she needs it. This is a great program and I highly recommend it. read more

The highlight of my 3rd grader's summer was the 2 weeks she spent exploring Marin with the No Limits Mountain Bike Camp. Every day I'd drop her at a different location, and the group would tackle the nearest hill. The biking wasn't easy, but it wasn't too hard, either. It was the perfect combination of challenging but doable. As Goldilocks would say, "just right!" My daughter's confidence in her biking soared. My only problem is that no one else in my family can keep up with her now! Because of these challenging times, I feel compelled to mention that the camp's Covid protocols were rigorous. After several long months of having my kids at home, it was a relief to send her off on her own, knowing that she was safe and having fun. No Limits is not inexpensive, but it is absolutely worth the money because it is a top notch, professionally run program. read more

The reason they are getting 1 star is the fact that they cancelled a Holiday Day Camp 15 working days before it was going to be held, which was today. I reached out to them in Oct to see if they had something as they have awesome reviews and I have heard some many great things about them. I am sure my child would have loved it as she/he was going with their best friend! So now there are 2 families looking for alternatives for Day Camps in Jan 15 days out. This seems so unprofessional! We love No Limits Mountain Bike Camp - my son has been part of both the summer camp + now an after school program. The camp has definitely been his favorite way to spend time especially now during covid, after long mornings remote learning in front of a screen. He truly looks forward to the rides each day - having such friendly + responsible leaders, passionate about what they do, that tailor the rides to kids specific levels. He's also met some great friends in the group that are regulars as well. We are so thankful to Chris + Cami for providing this super activity to our community! read more

I don't have a child who has gone to this program. I can only review what I saw at Tennessee Beach yesterday. A parent said on a previous review that they were impressed with the Covid protocols. What I saw yesterday was awful in that account. Only one of the close to twenty children had a mask on. I can understand that since they aren't required to do so and it is hard when running about. But most of the teachers didn't have masks on either and were oblivious or downright rude about keeping distance from my family on a narrow trail. Plus the children were running ahead of the teachers who were not paying attention that they were heading toward a cliff side with a no walking sign. If you want to send your child to this camp, I suggest spending a day with them there to see if this is usual behavior and protocol. I only have a very limited interaction with them but I would want to know this if I was thinking of sending my child there. read more

Wonderful camp and instructors! I sent my 2 young boys ages 6 and 7 and I know they were safe and in good hands each time they went. They go over safety rules every day with the kids and are just the nicest people. It's 3 adults riding w/the kids so you know everyone is being watched. I highly recommend this camp. No Limits has been an amazing program for both Max and Ava. We have been very impressed with the positive, fun and enthusiastic environment No Limits has provided. We first enrolled Max for the first time last year in one of their featured sports session, Little Hoopsters. He had such a fabulous time and learned so may skills and rules about basketball and sportsmanship. As a result, we than enrolled Max in several more afternoon sessions which again, he had a great experience and time. This summer we put Ava who is 5 and an incoming Kinder in No Limits for the first time at their summer camp with Max. Every morning, both kids are so excited to go to enjoy all the sports and various activities they have planned. It gives me such peace of mind to know that they are having a great day with other kids, interacting with a very professional and fun staff, and growing & learning new things each day. read more

This is one of my first yelp reviews, but I am so pleased with No Limits I really wanted to spread the word! My son has attended for 2 years. Before No Limits, he often shied away from group games due to lack of confidence. He always was an active little boy, but not naturally inclined towards sports. No Limits has completely changed his perspective and approach to these things. It has proven to be a warm and welcoming environment that encourages new activities but also provides the needed down time after a long day at school. From scooter boards in the gym to legos and art, he is always engaged and entertained. The Neil Cummins staff (Taylor, Chris, and Kami) really get to know each kid. They pick up on personality traits and try to encourage and foster their strengths. The coaches are what makes this program above and beyond! You can't find a more flexible program that really understands the needs of working parents. Lastly, we just joined the Mountain Bike Club and my son can't get enough of this bike. After hearing about this camp from another mom that works close to me, i suggested it to my child. We gave it a try and what a disappointment! The counselors were un-attentive and used the phrase "shut up" often. The activities were un-imaginative and exclusive. The day also includes way too much sugar. The kids are encouraged to eat mounds of melted candy while their hands are behind their backs in a race to see how fast they can consume it. My child felt completely alone and miserable the entire time. After attending several different camps this summer, this felt more like a babysitting service than a fun summer camp. Wow....I got on here to RAVE about No Limits Sports Camp, and decided to read the other reviews. I read the negative review below by M.M. and am shocked!! My boys have been going to No Limits Sports Camp since they were in 1st grade (they're twins and now going into 5th grade), and I cannot say enough great things about Chris and the camp. Chris is extremely nice to all of the kids and gets to know each one really well. He's very sweet and patient with them, and makes sure they are engaged in something they like all day long. I just asked my boys about the things I read below, and they said Chris absolutely would never yell at the kids and never does. He also has a huge staff that keeps track of all the kids. They do a head count throughout the day, so I'm not sure where this mom gets the idea that there is no accountability. I know dozens of kids that are really young and go there, and they are extremely safe and well cared-for. Chris also does not encourage the kids to eat tons of sugar. He does have them bake cookies if they are interested, and then they get to eat one. Sometimes they can have another cookie as a prize for helping to clean up or if they earn it as a prize for winning a game. Once every few weeks they have a game that involves candy, but it is definitely not an every day thing. My boys told me that none of the kids are allowed to play on iPhones, iPads, or iPods unless it's at lunch time or with MARS, learning something to do with technology. Chris is very diligent in making sure the kids are engaged in something good for them. Okay, enough in response to M.M.'s post. She is a tiny percentage who feels that way. One of my boys is more into sports, and the other is more interested in technology. The one who is interested in technology spends a lot of time with MARS, the tech guy, learning about remote control cars, aeronautics, etc. I was worried he would be bored, but he absolutely loves the camp and Chris. My other son, who is very much into sports, is very high energy and has a blast. I highly recommend this camp and often do to all of my friends and acquaintances!! read more

We absolutely love No Limits sports camp! Our 6 year old attended their after school program and is now in the Summer camp (sports all day, every day!) The coaches are fantastic... positive, nurturing, motivating! The activities vary from lacrosse to baseball, hockey, basketball, soccer, and good old-fashioned tag and four square. In addition to a great "team" atmosphere, the kids get a lot of good 1:1 instruction. Because there is a good age range from 5 up to 10 or 12, it has given our child the confidence to engage in any situation. Chris and Kami run a fantastic camp, and our little guy loves it! read more

I read between the lines of M.M's review and glad I did. If you are the kind of parent who needs your kids hand held, and will answer all their test questions for them, and will still do their laundry for them when they are adults, and will make sure they never experience life for themselves, then you might want to ask yourself what kind of parent are you. My 5 yr old son is not a sports kid, nor will he likely be. But, he had a great time at Chris's camp, from the minute Chris said hello to him. Chris knows kids. And his camp will help your kid build confidence in themselves. I wanted my son to do something other than art for a change. I am very glad I found this camp via my search online. Kudos to Chris. I picked my son up all smiles on his face. It's up to us as parents to expose our kids to things they might not choose to do on their own. I've always had nannies so was worried about how my kids (4&7yo) would do at no limits. No problem! They love it! We use it every so often, or for after school classes. It's actually an incentive I use for good behavior. Chris and his crew do a great job. No Limits Day Camp is by far the best after school and summer program in Marin. The entire staff is attentive, and aware of every child. I never worry when they are there, and they often don't want to leave. They offer a multitude of activities that will excite, and entertain all kids (boys & girls). The staff is always conscience of safety, and are sensitive to all personalities. They have a flexible offerings, and it's so easy to register. My kids have been going to No Limits off and on for 4 years. One of them spent a whole summer and they have done drop in after care, as well. Most recently, my son did a 5 week Learn to Bike class and was riding the first day. It was totally worth not having the power battles that I had trying to teach my first son to ride. I love the staff at the camp and Kami rocked it with the bike riding. She and Chris are always responsive to emails and phone calls with questions. I would recommend No Limits for any of your child care needs. read more

We have sent our two boys to this camp many times and have nothing but good things to say about it. I have even lingered at the camp for a little while after drop-off a couple times to observe, and the camp is very well run, with a wide variety of fun games and activities. Chris, the camp director is outgoing and friendly, and the kids seem to really connect with him. The camp has the feel of a charming family-run business, with Chris's mom checking kids in in the morning. His counselors are attentive, kind and enthusiastic in our experience. I was surprised to read a bad review of the camp here, as all of the parents we know who have tried No Limits have continued to go back. The reviewer's claims even seem a little fishy to me, as our experience has been the complete opposite. We have tried many camps in Marin over the past few summers, and many of them are good. But I recommend this camp as one of the best, particularly for kids who enjoy active play. read more

No Limits has been a wonderful place for my children to play, socialize, learn team sports, exhaust themselves physically (not easy to do!). I have 6 year olds and a 12 year old. They would go every day of the week. It's wholesome fun and close to "hanging out with the neighborhood kids" kind of feel we had growing up. Chris is in charge, but he is also a great deal of the fun. He's upbeat, personal, fair, and actively engaged. Cami and crew balance out activities with art and craft projects (different every day) downtime, smoothing over ruffled feathers or helping to keep all of the children held in a fun, light-hearted way. My kids have some experience with other Marin camps, I wasn't as impressed as I am with No Limits. I could go on and on! read more

Our son is beginning his 6th month of attending No Limits Sports Camp and we couldn't be happier! We've tried the other Southern Marin options and nothing comes close to the wonderful environment provided by Chris, Kami, and the rest of the staff at No Limits. Our 5 year old loves the camp! He is never ready to leave when we pick him up. This camp provides a great amount of individual attention and exposure to a wide variety of sports and other activities. In between all the action, the kids have rest periods where they are able to work on a variety of art projects and other restful projects. Their many years of experience has lead to camp perfection! We love No Limits. Kami, Chris, Morgan and the rest are all so great with the kids. They really take an interest in each child and provide a really positive and fun environment for them. My son does not like participating in group sports, and it still works out great. He is encouraged to try, but is never expected to do anything he doesn't want to do. He runs around and plays lots of pretend games and has a great time. There's a simple craft each day which he also enjoys. You may want to be aware that occasional movies are shown. Also, they are super flexible. I've called a few hours before I've gotten stuck and needed a pick up on a few occasions, and they've always been able to accommodate us. I feel really lucky to have this great "club" available for my son and daughter both as an ongoing activity and for when we need random day time child care coverage :) read more

No Limits is a great after school program! They always make sure the kids spend a portion of their time being very active. They learn the rules of various sports and games but they also have art, board games, Legos, etc. so there is something for everyone. We celebrated my son's 7th Birthday Party at No Limits this year. The kids had a blast! My son wanted to play dodge ball, floor hockey and soccer. The coaches organized all of them and more. The party lasted for two hours and they were entertained by the coaches for 90 minutes. The coaches did a great job getting all the kids (both boys and girls) involved. The last 1/2 hour was spent enjoying dinner and birthday cake. They also had a giant jumpy house. It was the easiest birthday party I've ever hosted! Thanks No Limits! read more

Our son is a kindergartner at Neil Cummins and we took advantage of the early registration (which is well worth it) and enrolled out son for the 2013/ 2014 school year. We have been nothing but happy with the No Limits program. Our son absolutely loves it and they are teaching him the critical skills that are not taught inside the classroom. The team is teaching him how to live a healthy lifestyle and build up confidence to tackle new challenges. Prior to No limits we heard "I can't do it" come out of our son's mouth a lot. He was hesitant to try new things. Now he can't wait! I recommend No Limits to any parents looking to grow your child's learning beyond the classroom environment. Chris has great games for the kids to play and has done a good job of creating a broad array of activities such as art and cycling. No Limits has been amazing for my 5 year old son. We had him at another after care program, and he was not happy there. He used to come home upset about his day, and as soon as we switched him to No Limits, we could tell that he was much happier. The environment is very supportive and inclusive, and they teach the kids self confidence through participation in sports and other activities. I was worried that it would be too much for him to do sports all afternoon, but they also have a "chill-out" zone where kids can relax and do art projects, or play Legos. I've also noticed a rapid improvement in my son's soccer abilities. He used to be timid and lacked focus, and now he's much more focused and active during his games. I wish every school had an after care program like No Limits that encourages kids to be active and healthy. read more

I am so glad No Limits exists! There are 4 after school choices in our district, and No Limits is by far the most fun and the best value. They have tutors on site to help kids with homework, lots of different games and activities, and quiet corners for reading. They also have a Bike Club and Mountain Bike Club. Their online system for registration/sign up is super easy, and their customer service is unparalleled. Whenever I need to add a day at the last minute, I just e-mail them and usually receive a response within minutes. Chris and Kami are the best! read more
