yea so don't board/use daycamp for your dog here. if you haven't already read the countless negative reviews (which i strongly recommend you do if your thinking of boarding your animal here), here's another. i really hate to badmouth a facility like this, as i have experience in this field. my mom took our family dog here for daycamp maybe for like 2 weeks or so. it was great at first. then our dog began to show signs of an allergic reaction(hives like bumps all over and a swollen face). when my mom went to pick him up, she noticed it and asked the girls there if they had noticed anything. to which they replied "yea he has been swollen in the face today". no call, no text, nothing. i just think that's odd and tells you how they care for your animals. the rash on our dog progresses and is getting worse, so like any dog mom would my mom called them up. she simply asked what cleaner they use so she could know what he could be possibly having a reaction from. they said they just use "water" to clean. is that alarming to anyone else?? places like these need to be using a state regulated disinfectant that is fungicidal and virucidal . that's just simple state law! after that, we lost all hope in the place. clearly they are not setting any cleanliness standard like they claim to in other replies. fast forward a few days and two vet visits later : it's not an allergic reaction, it's a communicable rash that the vet said very likely came from the kennel. other people say their dog has caught kennel cough multiple times or respiratory infections. i don't know about you guys but maybe it's because they "just use water" to clean or clearly aren't cleaning well enough. anyways not the end of the world but super frustrating and NOT how dogs should be treated. seriously save yourself some $$ and go somewhere that actually cares and cleans for real. do better guys. read more
