I know this means that they are going somewhere and I won't see them for awhile. Why does it always seem like five years! They bring my own bed and my own food. The best thing is that I get to play with the other furbabies during the day. I really get worn out and sometimes I even lose a little weight, which is good because sometimes I get a little chunky with Dad sneaking me food (don't tell Mom). They have training and grooming here also. The reason I only gave them four stars instead of five, is sometimes they call up my Mom and tell her that I ran out of food and then she gets charged extra for them to use their food. The last time we got home, Mom looked in my bag and saw two packages of my food in there. Another thing that Mom doesn't like is that when she calls, she doesn't know which Watering Bowl location the phone call will go to so sometimes they can't tell her how I'm doing. I hope my Mom and Dad keep using The Watering Bowl when they go on their trips. I really like it here.

The dogs always come home tired after playing all day and some of the pics from the themed days are priceless. I also specifically want to recognize the team for going above and beyond one evening when I called them to let them know I was running late to get the dogs. We just took our dog here for a "meet and greet" the other day. and everyone was so friendly and welcoming, especially the manager Kiersten. They introduced our dog to the other dogs and let him play for about 6 hours. We gave them our shot records, talked about his eating and behavioral habits, and we were all set :) I will update this after our dog has his nearly week-long boarding trip, but it seems like a great place with caring people so far!

(That's more important to me than their remembering MY name!) I went there right after they opened to inquire (ie: investigate) the facility. I am in the dog "business" I am VERY particular where my dogs go. THEY ROCKED! I ask about 20 questions when I go to a facility I am unfamiliar with. Not only did they answer ALL my questions. They even answered some of them before I asked them! They had their applications out front & went over them carefully. They asked specific questions about my dogs. (Size, temperament, play style, background. Mine are both rescued. Background information is so important & not something everyone asks about.) They showed me the facility and explained how they do dog introductions. This is one of the most important steps in the dog daycare process! This was VERY important to me! They take such good care of my kids. They post pictures on Facebook. I get to share them with my friends! Though it can be a little hard to find it is SOOOOOO WORTH going there!

I can now, without a shadow of a doubt, say sending him to Sorenson was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Connie has jumped out of a moving car (luckily turning into a driveway), broken a plate glass door, and threatened to rupture ear drums with his piercing demand barking to name a few. When visiting him for his coming home training, he was truly a changed dog. He was calm, attentive, and eager to show what he learned. THIS was the goal. I have trained my previous dogs, but had finally met my match. I am so confident that he has the tools now to succeed and expand his world by getting to go places and meet new people. Max was our trainer. I highly recommend him and suggest you request him. When I went for MY training for how to continue this work at home, it was clear to see he loved my dog and my dog absolutely loves him. Connolly is an Irish Setter mix and stubborn as heck, for him to adore the person who has effectively stopped him from being a little tyrant speaks volumes. Max gave us detailed instructions as well as amazing photos and updates throughout Connie's stay. It is clear that this isn't just a job for Max, dogs are his passion. He did the arduous task of training Connie and it is now up to me to reinforce all that he has learned so he doesn't lose it! So person at their wits end with the dog they love, I hope this review calms any nerves you may have about sending your dog to Sorenson for training. Then got hit up for an e collar that I was told cost $215…read more Went back next day to get an e collar and they tried a switch and bait wanting to charge me $285. They train by shocking the dog. That's lazy so called training. And paid extra for unleash training which doesn't work unless you shock them. Taking my dog to a real trainer that doesn't use a shock collar and I get to be involved not just a for an hour but every class. Save your money and frustrations. There are less expensive real trainers that don't use E collars and you don't have to board them.
