His normal place sent him a last minute email that they had accidentally overbooked and he would be waitlisted. By last minute, I mean 30 mins before we were going to leave and drop him off. In a panic, we found Country Acres, who was able to take him last minute. They are incredible kind and patient, despite us getting every piece of information wrong. We knew his pup was in good hands, because all of the handlers we met were so nice and understanding, and at pick up explained he had actually ran out of food in the morning and they supplemented. The facility is extremely well maintained, offers additional services to really make your furry family member feel at home or pampered.

We had a cat that was being treated there, and had been for a couple of years. While I can't really say anything was stellar there, I was satisfied with the care, over all. Then came that horrible, fateful day when we most needed our family vet, and we were told to take her to an emergency clinic because they couldn't make time for us. During regular hours. With a dying pet that was their long term patient. It was already an awful day, but I felt so let down by them. So I guess if you have urgent need from your vet, find another office. They will let you down when you most need them. They never even called us to check up on her. Long story short, if you have a crisis with your beloved pet, this clinic isn't going to be there for you. If you just take your pet to the vet for a bare minimum and plan never to have any sort of emergency, ever at all, you might find them adequate. I'd strongly suggest finding another provider.

Williamsburg was one place recommended to me. When I visited, I felt very good about the facility and people. The facility was very clean, well organized and staffed. Everyone seemed genuinely interested in the animals under their care. My dog certainly seemed to enjoy her stays (and for a time she was there more than she was at home). The cut is uneven, particularly around her face, which appears choppy and not well blended. Her paws were also not cleaned up to the standard I expected. The areas of greatest concern are her armpit and belly, which were shaved extremely close. Her skin appeared irritated afterward, and there is a small area on her belly that looks consistent with a minor nick from the blade. I spoke with management to address these concerns and am currently requesting a refund based on the result and condition of the grooming. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service provided. If you have a long-haired or double-coated breed, I recommend clearly confirming grooming expectations in advance.
