I was in recently with some friends for late night eats and checked out the Halloween set up. It was such a vibe! Great food, I had the korean slider and the garlic wings and 2 absolutely delicious espresso martinis. I only wish they were bigger. It was a busy night so the food and drink service was slow, but we enjoyed more time in the atmosphere. This is a Blackstone staple, so be sure to check it out!

stopped in after an event with a few friends for a bite and a drink. Love the spooky decor for Halloween drink drinks or solid. The black garlic chicken wings were amazing. Enjoyed the Thai peanut ones as well. Fried Oreos are a must our server was bubbly, all the makings of a good night out.!

Nite Owl never misses, and their Black Lagoon Halloween pop-up is no exception. The bar is completely transformed with spooky, gothic decor and a fun themed menu. I tried the Nocturna Colada (a piña colada with cold brew -- surprisingly perfect combo!) and the Creature's Curse, a dark twist on an old fashioned. Of course, I couldn't leave without getting the fried Oreos -- always a must. Such a great vibe and the perfect spot to get into Halloween mode!

Stopped in before a birthday party next door at The Nest and wow! That happy hour is to die for. The happy hour burger was honestly one of the better burgers I've had in town. The tots were crispy and perfect but I'd forgo the seasoning next time because it was just really heavy. I'd use it if I could sprinkle it lightly. It's like a Cajun crab boil vibe type spice. The drinks are great and I had their version of a whisky sour and maybe had a few. I loved the vibe inside and the horror movies playing on the screens. Halloween and The Thing were on the night I was there. One of the bartenders was pretty busy so didn't give us the best attention but another bartender came around and she was super attentive and awesome so I don't fault the busy guy.

Me and some friends went to Nite Owl for some food after a day party. The food was delicious! We shared the tots, that were perfectly cooked and came with a really good aoli sauce! I want to go back for drinks really soon! The bartenders were so nice and I enjoyed the vibe of the bar in general.

This is my PSA to go get yourself a Techno Viking cocktail! I didn't know that I loved savory cocktails until now. Miso? In a cocktail? AMAZING!!! Pro tip: there are 2 sizes of totchos (to nachos) depending on your party size/level of hunger. Would reco the large size for 3+ people. Larger size is on the happy hour menu. They are messy (saucy) but worth it!

Totchos at Nite Owl are a must--seriously, I can't go there without getting them! They've always got fun cocktails too, which keeps things interesting. You order at the bar, so it can get a little busy, especially on weekend nights, but the kitchen is crazy fast once you've ordered, so the wait's never too bad. Overall, a great place for a night out!

Big fan of the vibe at Nite Owl. It nails that cozy, 70s-style den atmosphere--dim lighting, vintage flair, and a cool, laid-back energy. The menu is clearly curated with care: creative cocktails and unique bites that show real intention and passion behind them. My only small gripe is that the drinks are strong. There's definitely an audience for that, and I respect the craftsmanship--but personally, I usually prefer something a little less booze-forward. Still, the overall experience is thoughtful and well-executed

Night Owl has some of the best cocktails and late night bar food in the city. The tachos are top notch. I crave them constantly! And I love their options of drinks, they're so unique! This place would be 5 stars for me but the drinks are sooooo expensive. Even the beers. Their craft cocktails I understand but not a well whiskey and Coke. Ordering at the bar can take awhile due to the time it takes to make their cocktails. But regardless we frequent often and will continue to do so! We have sat on their patio many times this summer! Also although it's small their espresso martini is top tier in my opinion! So good!

Plan this place as the last meal before a fast or late night munchies; portions are hefty. I ordered the tots to share and there are probably three pounds of hot and crispy goodness here...we barely made a dent. They also come with a yummy aioli. Set up is simple, comfortable, dark, and relaxed. Grab a menu and order at the bar. There's numerous people clearing when you're done or if need anything. Great place to end the night!

I've visited Nite Owl for drinks or snacks/food many times, and it's always been a pretty solid choice in the Blackstone area. The staff is excellent, from what I've experienced. I actually thought I had lost my wedding ring there, called the next day, and they panicked to try and help me find it. (Turns out it was lost at home and I found it there, but I was very appreciative for their diligent help in trying to help me find it! They have a good selection of drinks and cocktails, so if you're there for just drinking and chatting with friends, it's a good spot to find something you love to sip on and shout across the table (I lost my voice when I was there this past weekend LOL) It's usually pretty loud in there and usually a little dark (at least on weekends), so its not a great place to have a big conversation, unless you sit at the booths, but those get snapped up pretty quick when they're busy and bustling (when you'd need them for a quieter spot). The bar has a TV mounted in the middle of it, and they play classic movies all the time, which is a fun vibe. They have a private room (The Nest) for events that you can rent out for a few hours, but it does turn public at a certain time), so that could be an option for you if you like a more quiet/private party atmosphere. The food is actually pretty great. We had the Fried Oreos when we were there last (yum!), but I've had the tots, the totchos, the Banh Mi Bao, and the Korean BBQ cauliflower wings. All great! It's not a quiet relaxing place, by any means, but if you are ok with that, then definitely give Nite Owl a try for the food, service, and drinks!

One of my favorite late night spots for drinks, really good food, and potentially obscure movies.

Yes, it's changed some - but pretty much all in positive ways! Loved the music and vibes. The bartenders were friendly. Drinks were crazy cheap by Vegas standards. As an older guy now, the most surprising thing was how many college-age straight-ish folkz there were (can't know for sure, of course - but that's what it looked like) It warms my heart to see how friendly, open, and accepting that crowd is. Keep Leading the Charge, Omaha! That being said, I feel that we're losing spaces where just gay men hang out. I miss the sexy, cruisey, brotherly vibe of some of the old haunts. Still, it's a fair trade to see so many ages, genders, and presentations all having fun together. My husband - who is born & raised in Las Vegas - where we live - said "Why do I have to travel to Omaha to hang out in a really great gay bar?!" WTF, Vegas?! Times change, but The Max is eternal!

It is a large dance bar with several dance floors and bars, as well as an outdoor area to sit with a fountain. The location makes this spot difficult to find parking/etc., but most people Uber here which works out fine. We went to the large dance floor to the right of the door and had a good time in a huge crowd, dancing to pop hits from ~10 years ago. I was surprised that this is a cash only spot--we were not prepared so didn't have too much on hand. Overall the drinks were fine--they often overpour, but my biggest complaint was waiting at the bar for about 10 minutes of while we watched others come and go--getting served before us. My guess is these are regulars, as we probably stuck out quite a bit in nicer clothes that we came from a party in. Other than a long wait the service was fine. The good thing about this spot is how unique it is--definitely feels like you are not in Omaha anymore! I can see how a lot of people enjoy the vibe, but it is just not my spot with the music too loud to understand anything, and people bumping into you at every angle. Still a decent location for an after party type thing on occasion! I just wish the bartenders we saw didn't pass us over for other guests for so long.

We first visited PaC at a Yelp event, but now we are hooked on their popcorn! The cocktails portion of Popcorn and Cocktails is nothing to sneeze at either. They are super smooth and flavorful, and the perfect pairing with a little side of popcorn. They even have pairings on their menu that show you which popcorns go best with each cocktail (and each cocktail actually comes with a side of that popcorn). If you like your side of popcorn that came with your cocktail, you can also purchase a large bag of it to take home! Our favorite popcorns have been the French Toast, Bourbon Bacon Cheddar, and Peanut Butter. They have popcorns for every craving - savory or sweet. And the cocktail we've liked the best was the Summer Peach - which literally came with a peach candy on the rim! So easy to drink and a little sweet. Popcorn with cocktails might sound like an odd combination, but PaC does it perfectly and will convert you to a fan of this combo!!

What a great hook. Perfect bar for "grownups" who want a nice drink in a chill setting. It's women owned, always a plus.
