We didn't know where to turn. Luckily, David found the website for Lindman New York. He called, and would you believe Carl Rutberg, the creative director and founder of the company, answered?! Amazing. A bit frazzled, David explained the situation, and Mr. Rutberg suggested two companies that were likely to help us out. But he said to call him back if they did not. They did not. So shortly afterward, David called Carl back. He told us he was on his way to the Fashion District and could meet us near there. Isn't that wonderful? David thanked him profusely, and then we frantically called an Uber. When we arrived at the meeting point, there he was. Mr. Rutberg. Waiting for us. Just incredible. To be honest, our bow ties were bought at a large retailer, so the quality was nothing like the custom ones sold at Lindman New York. But despite that, Mr. Rutberg helped us out. He tied our ties in less than 2 minutes. We took a selfie and said thank you again and again. He helped make our wedding special. In fact, he made our wedding special even before the ceremony. As you can imagine, we have shared this story with our friends and relatives. My brother and his wife looked at lindmannewyork.com with us last night and were so impressed.
