RIP. Their website says they are closed. They were a good store, good prices and friendly staff.

RIP permanently closed. No more. Too bad cuz it was a good dispensary with much better deals and specials than Harvest.

Closed. When it was open it was a pretty cool place to go and I never had any negative experiences but all of a sudden boom! It's closed.

Yavapai Herbal Services - Cottonwood Dispensary…read more 675 AZ-89A, Cottonwood, AZ 86326 Cannabis store Sabrina Champ 82 points   in the last week The behavior of the so called guard and office staff today has left me very upset, and suffering in pain until I can get to a decent dispensary. This one has again refused to make any accommodation to allow a single mother in a wheelchair to have access to medication. I have shopped here out of necessity since they opened. I will be driving out of town for ALL of my family's medication needs from now on. Most of the staff (the budtenders) are amazing personable people that go out of their way to make their patients comfortable, and I will miss you guys and gals; you know who you are. The rest of the staff, however, make it quite clear they are focused on profit, not patients. While some of the guards are quite friendly, and make the shopping experience more pleasant and secure, this particularly opinionated guard has a power Trip and likes to bully people when bored. That was my experience today. After years of being a loyal customer and shopping there multiple times each week, now that I'm a single mother raising 6 kids, I have to make adjustments. One of those is not having a partner to watch my one year old while I shop for medicine. This dispensary is the ONLY one that has ever told me I had to get a babysitter to be allowed to buy medicine, as my infant is not allowed inside. I have tried repeatedly to get them to help me access my medication despite my disability, but they claimed it was company policy. However, the Prescott store has made it clear that policy is exclusively up to Cottonwood management, and is not the policy in Prescott, where of course they want to make sure I can get my medicine as needed. So I complied with their request and brought my 13 year old (who is old enough to legally babysit anywhere) to help with my wheelchair (which I can't do alone) and watch the baby while I was inside. They got drinks while I wheeled myself up the ramp and went in, then walked around the parking lot to stay where the security cameras could see them until I came out, as instructed. I was inside maybe 5 minutes when the "guard" comes into the establishment and berates me about bringing children to the building. They were not in the building and I pointed out that office staff had said that they had to wait outside. Then he says I can't have them there at all and I need to leave. Even my budtender was in shock. No one deserves to be treated this poorly just trying to purchase medication. The drive to Prescott was well worth it, and their prices are better

This is my favorite dispensary. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I love the watermelons…read morerings. Wednesday is this discount day and don't forget to ask for a senior discount if you are an oldtimer.

FYI: $150 for Service + $150 State Fee…read more Pro: Very easy to work with, the doctor interview only took 10 minutes at most. Friendly staff and seemed to know what they were doing. They DO submit the entire application for you, so all you need to bring is your cash/credit card ($150 for them, $150 for state [$75 if on nutrition assistance] ) and recent proof from a doctor of a qualifying injury. I was approved by the state within a week - so they submit the paperwork in a timely manner. Cons: I arrived early for my appointment but waited almost two hours to be seen. Obviously overbooked so don't get an appointment after 2 if you can help it. Doctor seemed a little frazzled. They accidentally charged my credit card too much but when I sent them an email they responded and issued a refund within an hour (awesome). They are NOT open mon-friday at this location. They are only at this location 1 or 2 days a week so make sure to schedule an appt ASAP. $150 seems pricey for what they are doing but you're never going to get one of your regular doctors to fill out the physician attestation form. A necessary sacrifice.

WHAT??? They receptionist never really checked and my week of waiting was to be turned away at my appt time!

You may be a regular shopper at Nirvana - Prescott Valley. I used to be a regular shopper at this…read morelocation. Then my coworker told me to check out another local dispensary and once I did, I kinda saw how much I had been taken advantage of by Nirvana. I liked shopping this Nirvana location, however, in the past three months, I feel that they have been lacking. You wouldn't be surprised to know that the Prescott Valley location stocks an unimpressive and underwhelming selection of products. Mostly offering low-tier distillate and concentrates, their products are fine for extreme budget smokers (generally $10 - $12 for the lowest tier 1g cart. While Live resin and hash rosin options are few and some are not even truly live resin products, just distillate cut with LR terps. Low quality flower overall as well, in my experience. The most egregious offense? Poor customer service. I had just worked a 14 hour shift and arrived to Nirvana at just past 10p. The door was unlocked and there was no one standing by it to manage latecomers. I excitedly tried the door and found it open, assuming I had made it and, out of the kindness of their hearts, the employees were going to let me make my purchase. I was told that they are closed and to leave. despite having walked through an open door and having online order already placed. all I had to do was pay. Now I have to work another 14 hours before I have the chance to avoid Nirvana and go to Jars. I'm genuinely upset at this upsetting demonstration of absolute shit service. More than likely will not shop with Nirvana in the future and plan to share this experience with anyone I speak to about marijuana, customer service, and where to go to find good weed with good service. Final Statement: In addition to offering a low-tier range of products, Nirvana -- Prescott Valley also offers a low-tier range of employees! Don't shop here. EDIT TO ADD: There is effectively no point in shopping at local dispensaries when THCa flower and concentrates (carts, disposables, and wax/shatter/badder) can be ordered online at FAR lower prices from reputable hemp farmers with genuine certificates of analysis (CoA). Stop buying FDA-approved "weed" from dispensaries ASAP.
