You may be a regular shopper at Nirvana - Prescott Valley. I used to be a regular shopper at this location. Then my coworker told me to check out another local dispensary and once I did, I kinda saw how much I had been taken advantage of by Nirvana. I liked shopping this Nirvana location, however, in the past three months, I feel that they have been lacking. You wouldn't be surprised to know that the Prescott Valley location stocks an unimpressive and underwhelming selection of products. Mostly offering low-tier distillate and concentrates, their products are fine for extreme budget smokers (generally $10 - $12 for the lowest tier 1g cart. While Live resin and hash rosin options are few and some are not even truly live resin products, just distillate cut with LR terps. Low quality flower overall as well, in my experience. The most egregious offense? Poor customer service. I had just worked a 14 hour shift and arrived to Nirvana at just past 10p. The door was unlocked and there was no one standing by it to manage latecomers. I excitedly tried the door and found it open, assuming I had made it and, out of the kindness of their hearts, the employees were going to let me make my purchase. I was told that they are closed and to leave. despite having walked through an open door and having online order already placed. all I had to do was pay. Now I have to work another 14 hours before I have the chance to avoid Nirvana and go to Jars. I'm genuinely upset at this upsetting demonstration of absolute shit service. More than likely will not shop with Nirvana in the future and plan to share this experience with anyone I speak to about marijuana, customer service, and where to go to find good weed with good service. Final Statement: In addition to offering a low-tier range of products, Nirvana -- Prescott Valley also offers a low-tier range of employees! Don't shop here. EDIT TO ADD: There is effectively no point in shopping at local dispensaries when THCa flower and concentrates (carts, disposables, and wax/shatter/badder) can be ordered online at FAR lower prices from reputable hemp farmers with genuine certificates of analysis (CoA). UPDATE: #2 Review Perhaps I should be calling ADHS, I have not yet, hopefully Sheraz or Sarah W will handle this appropriately. My disabled husband ordered his $800 edible and bud after discount $560 order yesterday. His entire order was sativa and hybrid but the bud tender who packed his delivery order decided to give him 4 indica pre-rolls which were NOT on his order. instead of sativa pre-rolls that were on his order. Now, my husband's a medical patient, ADHS would NOT aporove of dispensing incorrect medication for a patient? Would they? The proper customer service would have been "we're sorry we don't have it, we could deliver you the 4 sativa prerolls right out to you or credit it you for you next delivery." DONE. My order was correct, Jake said they filled what I ordered. I showed him my pic of my order clearly says Sativa on the case in Red. So I drove over to the DMV in Prescott and got it renewed, then went back to Nirvana with my renewal and they still wouldn't serve me? I will never go back, they lost a loyal customer. "Cake" brand, a California produced vape oil is not only horrid, the store told me it was great tasting and a good brand. For over two days the half empty carts, both Cake brand, charged up their disposable bodies -- finally a puff, a nasty, no feeling, gross tasting smoke that isn't cannabis at all now. How DARE these Arizona dispensaries buy from other states rather than promoting and supporting clean cannabis here. How DARE the 'budtender' lie to me. Worst security contractor ever at this location. Refused to allow me to wait in the shade, after I walked over an hour in the morning to beat the heat. when I found a spot in the shade he then refused me service for the day. Then proceeded to call me a "drug addict and that I have a problem with marijuana" moments later he let a male patron wait in the shade in the exact same spot i was refused. Horrible! I am a long time customer, I have been shopping here since they opened. I have watched the deals and customer service disappear rapidly since they opened! Everything is over priced and the service is crap! I live in rural az and travel from an hour away to shop here, this was the second consecutive week where they "lost" my pick up order. And then the quickest fix they can come up with is to waste another 30 min of my time trying to recreate my order with a manager...... I've wasted way to much time and money here! I won't be back! There is never any medical edibles available. As soon as you find a product that works, they stop carrying it. These products for me are my medicine for anxiety and sleep. I have gotten off of medications b using certain products and now they are not available. The store always looks empty for edibles and drinks in the cooler. I have never seen the cakes or brownies, etc. Every time I go to the Phoenix area, I load up,since I can't get anything here where I live. My birthday is 4/20. I will be traveling to the Valley to attend $400 to $500 and get my birthday discount. All I get at Nirvana in Presscott Valley is a free pre roll that don't use. I know nothing will come from this, but I'm sick of these businesses doing a mediocre customer service based business. Along with my husband we have owned multiple businesses, and I know without a doubt that we were always about the customer and their experience. After all, without customers, you have no business. I have noticed that there are only 1 or 2 customers inside the last few times I was thre. It used to be packed. I think there is now a dispensery in Presscott. I will try that store if it exist. This place is incredibly sketchy I get such a bad vibe from it. The employees don't even seem to know what's going on every time I'm in there. Every employee I have spoken to responds with so much lack of confidence as if they hardly have any idea what they are talking about. The rules of how business is done is different each time I have been there (one time I was not allowed to order for my relative and another time I was allowed to to make an order with my group) and then they denied carrying the items they sold me that I wanted to repurchase. As if those weren't enough bad reasons the edibles they carry are worse than garbage they are at least 2-3 times stronger than the label says so if you're taking a sleep gummy with 10mg thc expect it to be significantly higher. Follow up to my review on 8/30/2020. I stopped by today as I was short on time and couldn't make it to SWC before they closed. Called about a half hour before I got here and was told there were 5-6 strains to choose from. When I got there, there was only one strain, I asked the budtender if it was any good as I couldn't see through the bag and he replied "Sorry bro I only smoke wax". How do you not know anything about the product you're selling? The bag was full of popcorn nugs, sticks and stems. I called back and asked if there was any way they could refund me as I was just in the store, the manager told me to kick rocks and was very rude over the phone. Unfortunately, the "security" they employ will take your possessions at the door, tell you that they will put it in their safe, lose or steal said item and take zero responsibility for it. The GM of this place has zero people skills and acted like I was an inconvenience when I asked for my items back. Honestly, I will never give this place business again. As a new member of this town, I learned a hard lesson and I will drive twice as far to go to a different dispensary now. I have always loved this dispensary but today I ordered a party pack pre rolls has 14 pre rolls. Mind you I come all the way from Chino valley so picked up and drove home only to realize the party pack that is suppose to be 14 pre rolls only had 10. I called to notify them and they want me to drive all the way back with all the pre rolls to make sure it was shorted. I spend a lot of money here a week and if they were to look in their system they would know that I'm not the type to try to get stuff for free. But honestly it's just ridiculous how I have to drive all the way back over there to get four pre-rolls that they miscounted. Just in today and had my second bad visit in the 3 years I've been a customer. My LIVE review was not quite 24 hours old, so Lee wouldn't give me my free pre roll. Then we got into an embarrassing back and forth. He is the only budtender whoever did that to me. I know it's the store policy, but the good budtenders have always just looked at the LIVE review and gave me my freebie because they were always good reviews and it's just good business. Lee doesn't quite comprehend having the customer leave happy. He was even proud of himself. What a dick! Here's the deal: Lee started off being inattentive, maybe he was just tired, maybe a little too much medication before work. Then we had the incident. Being a former manager, there has to be a consequence in this case. I'm sure Lee was being great for management saving you that gram of shake, but I left the store today angry, embarrassed, and unsatisfied. All over a gram of shake. It was just bad business. He just didn't want me to have my freebie. Maybe he doesn't like the way I look or something. Since you're the only game in town, of course I will be back. However, I haven't been to SWC, your competitor in the region, for a year and now plan on visiting the next time they have a special on concentrates (thanks Lee!). The one thing I like about SWC, is that they seem to relish in giving you something for free. Normally, my Nirvana budtenders do to. I took my mom in for her free birthday 8th and they don't even do it anymore. I was actually a bit upset considering every time I go in I spend upwards of $100. They told us it's now a free LOUD PACKS pre roll. Loud packs is literally the most mid herb in the whole dispensary and a pre roll at that.. disgusting. I was highly disappointed. Just left here....it's hit or miss getting a happy and helpful bud tender here....it's a 50/50 shot getting someone who isn't indifferent, and just short of rude.
