SWC used to be 5 star all the way...great staff, environment, and product. However, it was recently bought out by a corporation (Zenleaf, I think) and many of us can see a real difference. While the staff is still great, SWC now runs out of product on a regular basis, which never used to happen. (Also, the accumulation of discount points has pretty much gone away.) The corp is NOT on top of ordering. Hopefully they will get their act together soon, because the acquisition has harmed the SWC brand. read more

Great customer service, including for pickup orders. Flower and gummies are always on sale. But the flower 1/2 ounce prices vary from the low $30s to the $55. So today I had to go to the new JARS Cannabis since the flower prices were higher at SWC today. read more

Meant to write this a month ago, so I may not remember all of the details. At any rate, my husband and I - we are in our late sixties and early seventies - went in for recreational gummies. We both of course had our AZ driver's licenses. First of all, the place looks really "skeazy" for want of a better word. Very run down. When we went in, they questioned us as if we were undercover police - maybe that's what they thought we were. I forget what the specific questions were, but they felt intrusive. But worst, they refused to let both my husband and I go in at the same time. Two quite frankly, older people. I told them we go into dispensaries in the Valley together all the time, to which they told me "well then, ALL the dispensaries in the Valley are breaking the law". I later looked this up - that is NOT true. I was the one who was hoping to get some gummies to help me sleep, but I was more than a bit nervous going inside by myself given how sleazy the place looked. Nothing is displayed in such a way so you can read the package - like having packages displayed behind glass or something similar. So I had to ask the guy behind the counter questions about which gummy product would be best for me to use, none of which I was familiar with, while my husband waited outside. I got the impression that the employee didn't know too much. The whole situation, and being in there by myself, made me feel VERY uncomfortable. I can only imagine that perhaps they are getting intense pressure by the town of Prescott, who maybe doesn't want them there? read more

I was in on Friday the 17th at around 230pm with friends on our way to go camping. We stopped in because we are all in the industry and they specifically wanted to go to this location on our way through Prescott. The security guard was rather aggressive with gathering physical I.Ds, whether it was a first time patient special or not. It was my first time and my last. When we walked in, we were told to check in to match our faces to the IDs and told to go sit. I always stand as it's just a preference. We waited about 5 - 7 minutes (no problem!) and then the woman behind the counter called my name first then the rest of my group, which were 5 others. When I walked up first, I said my name and she rudely looked at me and said "I didn't call your name" and handed the iDs back to my friends and told them they could go back but I had to wait. My friends looked at me, backed me up and validated she did say my name. One friend said she'd stay behind and wait so we could shop together. The woman at the desk literally was going to send all my friends back and have me wait even after the attitude I received after she called my name. My friend and I waited like 3 minutes before they called her and I back. The only reason I gave two stars was because the budtender was at least nice and Mohave had a deal but other than that, customer service needs to check their attitudes ASAP. When we left, I still said thank you as that's the person I am however, as soon as we walked out my entire group said to me, "damn, she was so mean to you Kels!" So with that being said, hopefully she isn't rude like that to all customers, which I know she wasn't because she didn't act like that to my friends. My wife recommended this place to a friend, because it was in the area where she was going to see a concert. She bought two pre-rolls and one was empty. She went back and then they interrogated her and refused to make it right. When we called, they were super rude. Wouldn't give us any information would not give us their name and told us to screw off, and hung up on us. such a rip off, absolutely no customer service whatsoever. Highly recommend buying your stuff in the valley before you go up north or they will rip you off. Never had this happen before in the valley and lesson learned. Wonder how many other they are ripping off. Wish we could give zero stars. read more

SWC has good prices and a good selection overall, however it seems as if they participate in malicious business practices. I recently bought a full gram stiiizy pod and there were multiple bubbles in it upon opening; half of it was gone. This has happened multiple times, often with the brand select. They can do a lot better. First off, I am ecstatic that the state of AZ has finally caught up to the times by legalizing recreational cannabis. Even though I remain a recreational user, I do look for certain medicinal qualities. I will forgive the half hour wait outside, just to get into the building. When one is the only game in town, a long wait is to be somewhat expected. The layout of the interior is weird. Fully 3/4 of the floor space is dedicated to the waiting room. I suppose we can chalk that up to the covid plague. Much more space is needed to accommodate the same number of customers. Kind of a drag, but it's something we all are dealing with these days. When I finally got back to "the room", I was underwhelmed. The amount and variety of merchandise was sparse,far less than what I expected, considering the business was a previously established medical Marijuana dispensary. The clerk I had to deal with disappointed me as well. He knew nothing but THC levels. He barely knew what terpines were, let alone what they did, what ailments they were good for. According to him, there were no lab reports available in the store, there was also no way to get them. And besides, according to him, terpines aren't all they're cracked up to be so I shouldn't put much faith in them anyway. It was simply a buyer beware situation. Having experienced legalized cannabis in other establishments, it is well known that full lab reports are made with every harvest of every product, from flower to edibles and topicals. So, it was disappointing that they couldn't, or wouldn't provide such n formation to their customers, especially since they tout themselves as a medicinal/wellness facility. Seems to me they are just interested in selling weed. I look forward to competition arriving in town. read more
