Just because this is the first and only review, please don't dismiss Nirvana. I had the most lovely dinner at Nirvana when we were arriving in town and needed a good bite to eat before we checked in to Dalhousie Castle.
We made reservations and got a nice comfortable table along the wall with Robert to take care of us. The Malbec wine from Argentina was divine. We had been eating our way across the country and tonight was no different. Everything came out in the little Indian bowls and on warmers...nice touch. We were never rushed and
- Samosas (two on each plate, small light and crispy! stuffed with lamb and delicious)
- Nirvana Assorted Tandoori (good but my least favorite of all dishes)
- Butter Chicken (I have never gone wrong ordering this dish in an Indian restaurant)
- Murgh Mango chicken tikka masala (recommended by Robert and one of our favorites)
- Beef Jalfrezie (spicy and so good!)
- Saag Paneer (spinach!)
- Saffron Basmati Rice
