Disappointing Follow-Up Despite a Strong Start…read more I had my sleep study done at this sleep clinic, and unfortunately, my experience after the study has been extremely frustrating. I have called over 20 times in the last three weeks trying to obtain my sleep study results. Their phone system consistently redirects callers to voicemail, and despite leaving multiple messages, I have never received a follow-up call. The lack of responsiveness has made an already stressful medical situation even more difficult. During the sleep study itself, the environment was not ideal. The hallways echoed loudly with footsteps throughout the night--at times it sounded like someone walking in heels galloping down the hallway--which made it hard to sleep and distracted from the purpose of the study. Additionally, the adhesive used irritated my scalp for several days afterward. While that may not be entirely their fault, it's something future patients should be aware of. I want to be fair: booking the appointment was a great experience, and the process leading up to the study went smoothly. However, following up on results has been a painful and unresolved process, and that is a critical part of patient care. At this point, the one thing I would truly appreciate is transparent communication. Even a simple update or realistic timeline would go a long way. Until that improves, I cannot recommend this clinic based on my experience.

Years, the last one was in Orange county, California. I was actually excited to see how I had progressed in the last 15 years, and get a new CPAP machine. The place was super easy to find, located in the back of a medical complex, the sleep center of Nevada had plenty of parking, and was very easy to locate. I arrived at 9 :20, filled out my paperwork and got ready for the night. The staff there was excellent, very friendly, ready to answer questions and concerns, and made the experience very enjoyable. The room itself was fairly scarce, it had a dresser, nightstand, TV, and was outfitted with cameras. Get you completely wired up with all the sensors you need, it's time to go to bed. Now I get it. Sleeping somewhere else is never as comfortable as your own home, however, I will say that the mattress is there. We're very cushy and it was a overall comfortable experience. Would I rate this as a five-star hotel? No. Was it the worst hotel I've ever stayed in? No absolutely not. This was completely acceptable, clean and functional. Bottom line? If you're looking for a great place to get a sleep study done, I cannot recommend this more.

BLUF: Frank, I know your business DOES NOT prefer YELP for reviews, however I CANNOT my review…read morethrough, due to GOOGLE's "ALGORITHM". I emailed this review to you and your TEAM, I am also posting here, as some human beings do check this. HOLY SHIT, I cannot believe how AWESOME this place is!!! You actually get your OWN ROOM (I knew this prior to going in) and was shocked to see that the room is set-up like a damn MARRIOTT kind of room. THAT BED! Everything you need to go to sleep (TV, "White Noise" and/or fan, etc). To the BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEINGS: YOU NEED TO BE RECOGNIZED AND GIVEN PRAISE BY WHOMEVER YOUR SUPERVISOR IS OR WHOMEVER IS AT THE TOP OF YOUR "CHAIN OF COMMAND". At Home Sleep Studies is a "well oiled machine". EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT FROM THE BEGINNING TO END. KEARBY: She has a great personality, "bubbly" and humorous. I knew not to bring in anything valuable and she joked "Don't bring in your Rolex". I laughed and said, "I will just bring in my FOLEX (Fake Rolex) that I bought overseas". This was the day of the test and she said, " You will have SUPER "Sleep Technicians" on during my sleep test. The test starts at 9pm (getting hooked up with all the wires) and the "sleep" starts around 10pm or so and finishes at 4am. HENRY!: Was my Sleep Tech and it was meant for us to connect him! Amazing human being and we talked about so many topics like a friend. He was very humorous. He was very thorough and talked me through everything. He asked me to tell him WHATEVER I NEEDED to get a solid sleep in. Don't focus on all the wires or you will miss all the beauty of your sleep tech, the room and accommodations. You will be RECORDED the WHOLE time. I was going to mess with them, as I knew they were "watching me", ha! I stayed the course for a good study to be conducted. Henry, it was a blast getting to know you and we shared so much stuff, you will forget even what is going on! *Henry allowed me to "strip down" as much as he could allow me to (even made an exception), as I like to sleep "FULL COMMANDO". Ha! Hey, it is all about COMFORT. Do NOT TELL ANYONE! ;-D FRANK!: You are a ZEN MASTER at what you do! I knew most of the "medical lingo" of the result details he was talking to me about (due to battling in the healthcare sector for over 17 years). I also LEARNED A LOT of new things too. Beautiful. I was on the phone with him 10/24/23 (Tuesday) for 39 MINUTES, breaking the study down for me. TO FRANK'S SUPERVISOR this is CARE: Please allow Frank ALL THE TIME HE NEEDS, in order to provide the detail patients need and also answer ALL their questions. THIS IS CARE. I would say to you, if I saw you in person, TO NOT "MINIMIZE" (I would really say DISRESPECT) his 25+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. It is all about QUALITY, not QUANTITY. Patients need to feel confident they were in great hands and FRANK is truly an AMAZING HUMAN BEING. I do understand the "downward" pressure to get patients through more quickly, but you lose QUALITY. As a LEADER, you have to push back against, the downward pressure of upper management. Frank is so damn, INTELLIGENT and BACKED with DECADES of experience, that I NEEDED TO "pick his brain". Even though I did not have "Sleep Apnea" (where you actually stop breathing), there were 2 EXTREMELY concerning adverse events. Anything I can do to positively, to take the "edge off my other ailments". HOLISTIC approach. Frank, IMMEDIATELY, put the order in for my treatment, then EMAILED ME the results. Such an easy to understand, detailed review. He even said to call him back if I had any more questions. SUPERB. Dr. C.N Held: Thank you so much for all YOU DO. Kearby sits right next to you and she says you THOROUGHLY look at over 200 pages or so of complex data and somehow make sense of it. Then condense it into a 11 page report of results that are extremely easy to understand. Kearby mentioned other similar places just "rubber stamp" the results (they don't dig into the details). *BASIC "HOLISTIC" LEADERSHIP PRINCIPLE: DON'T EXPECT, WHAT YOU DON'T INSPECT. YOU CAN'T ASSUME. Check in on things that may help take an edge off your ailments. I was shocked to see that I had ZERO REM and ZERO DEEP sleep (there are "stages") and I was not getting ANY "restorative sleep", the ENTIRE TIME. Also, my Oxygen Saturation, during sleep, went BELOW the minimum, accepted level of 90% and for a long time = can damage the brain. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND "At Home Sleep Studies". What a beautiful surprise. 5+ STARS for this place and the amazing human beings! MAHALO! Ben

I wish I could submit the recording of the call, due to the severity of his inhumane treatment/choice of words. I began to record the call. If you have young children or elderly people, people who require any special care I would jot recommend this place. The communication is almost non existent. They don't return voicemails. And most importantly the owner and culture of this location is just down right mean. It requires compassion and caring to be in the medical field and Frank and his associates just don't have it! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

I've been in the social media space for 24 years before Facebook was born so no stranger to…read morereviewing on a variety of review sites. Never one as personal and profound as sharing this journey though. Just less than a year ago my medical team in San Diego based on some serious fatigue I had battled suggested I be tested for sleep apnea and sent me for Sleep studies @ Scripps in San Diego. Once they determined I had it I was in denial (did not believe them) as I did not snore and I did not gasp for air at night. Who knew sleep apnea could be so sneaky and not show its ugly head more easily? My sleep Dr. in San Diego pushed me to get one of the dreaded CPAP machines calling them the gold standard. I knew many patients that failed before me after great expense and difficulties. I was stressed out with just the thought. Another procedure involved surgical insertion of a device in my chest called Inspire.Uh please no thank you! Being a light sleeper, I knew this Cpap thing would be a disaster in the making even if I attempted. Because I split my time living between Las Vegas and San Diego I read the reviews of Dr West and her team and thought I would give them a chance and hope the reviews were reliable data points. As we all know they are not always on Yelp or elsewhere. Oddly in San Diego most of the providers had very low ratings under 2 stars and unhappy patients. That added to my lack of keeping the faith early on. Surprising as San Diego has a strong medical community otherwise overall. I started treatment with an oral device @ ISleep Solutions (an alternative to the forced air and face mask surgery etc) and was far from a fan of the thing but Dr West and her team stood by me every step of the way until I became comfortable with the device and never once took personal insult when I challenged certain aspects of the treatment, I was skeptical of. I was pessimistic at times to be honest. They advised me that they had a high success rate. But also were honest and upfront it might not work either. There were no false promises or being led on. This week I became a believer and received my sleep study test at the nearby Summerlin Hospital and received some great news. A game changer. Their treatment was a success! (Started treatment in Feb 2024) Today I have far less fatigue and know its up to me now going forward for more healthy eating and exercise to get me some more time on planet earth staying happy & healthy. Did I say sleeping better?More energy? If you are lucky enough to be accepted as a patient and even better have insurance that will pay for it don't hesitate even for a second. They are at the top of their game at what they do. A shout out to Meghan, Paye, Destiny and manager Melissa and of course the exceptional Dr. West and anyone else I may have forgotten to add to the list. You make your industry proud. In the end they under promised and over delivered Thank You for letting me be your patient. Highly Recommended!

I have to preface this by saying that I have never had a sleep study in my life before this month…read more I had 2 such appointments at the Sleep Telemedicine Services building on Jones Blvd and W Reno Ave. (+) Felt very clean. Beds, sheets were pretty comfortable. I'm guessing 40" TV on the wall with cable if you like to nod off with some background noise. (+) For both of my appointments, Kat was the technician. She was simply outstanding! She was incredibly friendly, patient and understanding. I greatly appreciate her help and assistance. (-) the only real gripe I have with this whole thing is the fact that I had to push a button to call Kat into the room to unhook all my wires and gadgets just to go to the bathroom. This was quite uncomfortable and I hated having to do it. Other than that, Kat made every effort to make the whole process as comfortable as possible. If I need to do another sleep test in the future, I would not hesitate to return here. 4 solid stars. Yay! I'm a fan.

Alarming. Appalling…read more Truly a case of "Doctor needs a Doctor."  This was one of the most alarming clinical providers I have ever encountered, in any field. The first red flag was darting eyes. Never trust someone with darting eyes. Every time I tried to make eye contact with him, his eyes would dart to the floor. From day 1 through the end. During our last session (I had to fire him), he admitted to me that his hatred for one particular group of people is so great that he cannot engage with them without rage and disgust.  I happen to belong to that group of people.  I told him "You're so full of rage and hate when that subject comes up that your jaw locks up, your eyes squint, and the feeling of rage fills the room," and his direct response was, "You read me correctly".   1. Why would you want a therapist who admits to being full of rage and hate?  2. What caliber of therapist suffers from that lack of self-control and self-awareness?  3. What kind of professional - of any type - sees that in themselves and goes "Yeah, this rage and hatred for a certain group of people is good, this is desirable, let's roll with this and bring this to work."?  He had been "working with me" for over a month while, based on everything he said, considering me "less than a person" - I know that's a big statement, but that's what it was. I'm sure I don't have to tell you how dangerous and potentially harmful that is during therapeutic work.  As soon as I got him to admit his hatred ("You read me correctly."), he tried to turn it around on me, accusing me of being full of pride and rage, and that was why he was refusing to engage with me. When I asked him how I had demonstrated that during session, he had no answer. Because I hadn't - he was operating from his prejudice, and projecting his hatred of my group onto me. The pride and rage were his, not mine.  When I pointed that out he pivoted to, "Well, haven't we been doing work??" The honest answer was "No." Because we hadn't. We had been doing a "Refusal to engage." What I got from him in session despite my best efforts was "uh huh" "uh huh" "oh wow" "uh huh" mixed in with various patronizations and condescensions.  This is not doing the work or engaging with the client; it's engaging in deception by putting in the motions because you don't want to do the work with someone you feel contempt for.  With "Parts and Memory" specifically, both modalities have the same first principle: the practitioner has to do their own. I watched him fail to do his own parts work in real time when his activation was on the table. So he markets himself as a teacher of the very framework his own behavior demonstrated to me he can't apply to himself.  Anyone training under him appears to be receiving training from someone who cannot do the work himself. Regrettably, his deception in session was a recurring motif during our time together.  When I asked him how he felt he could do the work honestly when he had been hiding this deep-seated hatred of his client I got a word salad.  He tried to cover for himself by indicating that he is not required to work with everyone who walks through his door. This is true, but he is obligated to be honest and turn them away, optimally with a referral, not to be deceptive to them and take their money while pretending to do the work and then claiming that his mastery exempts him from culpability when called on it. (Yes, that actually happened.) To me, that is very, very sick, wrong and scary. So I wrote this to hopefully help make sure he can't harm anyone else.  Please don't trust this man with any aspect of your care or anything else.  Until he gets fixed (something he seems to be actively refusing to do), he will continue to do harm to others. Beware.
