I recently contracted Bresch to repair a window and was given a quote with the understanding that…read moreif there were more damage to the area surrounding the window, the price would increase. When the window was torn apart, additional repairs were needed and he never came by to give me another estimate for the expanded work that would be involved. When I got the bill he charged me over twice the going rate for a contractor - i clearly felt that because he did not provide an estimate, he took advantage of the situation. I wrote to the Better Business Bureau, but they would not help because they completed the work. BEWARE! if you use this contractor make sure everything is in writing and do not assume that you will be fairly billed - because he will inflate the bill to more than double what it should be and the BBB won't help because it is a billing matter... IT is too bad because he just lost my future business because of this incident.

Experienced, detail oriented Contractor…read more.. Rick Worley Home Improvement, LLC was initially hired to re-shingle our roof, replace the wooden fascia and gutters on our home. He was meticulous and did a wonderful job on the roof. The gutters were sub contracted out and they did a great job as well. Because of the quality of his work on the roof we then hired him to put up vinyl siding and 5 replacement windows. Again he did a great job. He is experienced and knows what he is doing, and is particularly attentive to details. We often talked to each other about how impressive his work ethic is and how detail oriented he is. He cleaned up after himself everyday before he quit for the day....and when the job was finished he cleaned up so well that you would barely know a contractor had been in. Because of changes we made to the contract and the fact that he worked alone the job took longer than we had anticipated. However, the quality of the finished job more that makes up for the extra time. His prices on both contracted jobs were fair and in line with other estimates we had received. He was honest, fair and more than qualified. Do not hesitate to consider Rick Worley for your contract work. I'm pretty sure you will not be disappointed.

We hired this company to handle our lawn, fertilizer, mulch, and trim bushes for the season. They…read morestarted out fine but became unreliable. There were different crews all the time so there was no consistency. When the beds were to be weeded and mulched, the mulch was just thrown on top of weeds. It appeared nice but close up you could see the weeds. The last couple weeks it appeared the lawn wasn't cut in some areas. The deal breaker was last week when the front lawn was cut but the back wasn't. We contacted the owner to question why. He said he would look into it... he called back and said his worker talked to us, which he did not (Turns out he spoke to our neighbor, who is also looking for a new company). We said we didn't speak to your worker, he said he was inclined to believe his employee that had been with him a while, basically calling us a liar. Poor, poor, poor customer service. Don't waste your time.

Taking one star off. I just went through the renewal process with A&M which soured my experience…read moreand ended up ending our relationship. Despite my contract from last year citing an expectation for a 2% annual increase, I got a ~25% rate hike. The woman I worked with was not kind and not willing to help me understand where this came from. I ended up finding the owners email and was able to reach out to them to try to learn more and find a more reasonable solution, but even going over their new math, it still didn't make sense, and still had me over 20% higher than last year for the same work. They cited that I was charged incorrect last season (despite having their invoices with exact man-hour times spent and their own provided labor rate). Additionally, the new contract (which I did not sign) created new clauses in the fineprint to do price hikes in subsequent years without needing a reason. So disappointed, but I'm not comfortable going into contract with a company that doesn't honor their own contracts, hoping you won't notice.
