I found this tree service provider on Craigslist, I called four places and they were the first to…read morerespond. Rich came out and give a decent price, and was able to get the job done. However not all tree people get their jobs done the same way. I told them that there was water in the back yard and that the ground was soft and that he would leave ruts in the yard, but he said that he had a 4 wheel drive. He used his truck to pull the tree over while it was cut. Luckily the tree didn't fall on the house, however he got stuck in the yard made deep ruts and had to dig with shovels to get out. They didn't cut branches and lower them down, they just brought down the whole tree, and smashed a park bench, and nearly my shed. They said that they would be done in two days easy, but due to their lack of knowledge and proper equipment it took them four days. So the job got done for less than some would have done it for, and sooner than others could do it, but next time I may look a little more. Big Timber would have done it for less with the right equipment but we would have to wait for over a month. Carmen has all the best equipment and the manpower to get the job done in a day but wanted three times more. We needed to get the roof done and couldn't wait, until Christmas. My friend referred to them as the Tree Stooges. They didn't attempt to fix my yard, or compensate me for the park bench, or the fence post, or the damaged shingles on my shed. But the tree is gone

Carlos was one of only 3 to call us back to schedule an estimate. He was one of 2 to show up when he said he would. He was the only landscaper to provide the estimate on the timeline he had promised, gave the most detailed estimate, and it was significantly more affordable than the others received. Once work began Carlos and team showed up on time every day, clearly communicated what they would be working on, and worked incredibly hard each day no matter the weather. On a day with thunderstorms they were working both before and after the rain, unlike many companies which would have "called it a day." They cleaned up every day, going so far as to wash dirt off my driveway! The day before the playset assembly they worked until sunset to ensure I wouldn't have to reschedule assembly. When the assembly team came (a separate non-local company chosen by the manufacturer) they told me my landscaper had used very high quality materials and were very impressed with the quality of work, saying it was very rare for them to see site preparation done so professionally. When I told them what I had paid, they were amazed and said the wished All Good was local to them so they could recommend them, that I would have been crazy not to go with them. Now that All Good just returned to finish the playground mulch our yard looks like an advertisement for the playset company! I will absolutely be calling them for all future landscaping needs, including fall and spring clean up and lawn mowing. This is the single best experience I have had as a homeowner with a contractor. They presented the estimate via email, which I liked. Then, they actually showed up when they said they would and worked until the project was completed! I have found many businesses really don't want to work, but this one is an exception. They answered all my questions. They gave me recommendations, which I appreciated. They even leveled an area not part of the estimate without charge. I plan to utilize this company again to lay the footing after my indoor arena is built. So it's definitely worth it to get multiple quotes so you can make an informed decision. We were VERY happy with the job they did. I don't live in Jersey anymore, but I can definitely recommend friends and family in Cumberland County to use the Truxtons for tree trimming and removal.
