(NOT in the report from the building inspector! TY George from Pillar to Post!) So, I needed to replace the water heater, which had probably never been drained/flushed since it was installed. Did not know anything about these except what they should cost and that BLP&B were recommended installers in the Rinnai heaters we had researched. Because of the supply chain issues, we were also apprehensive that it might take a long time to achieve. But not only did they come right over, they got the exact model we wanted and installed it within a couple of days. They also took care of the required township permits and explained everything perfectly, and adjusted my faucets so the showers would not stop partially towards "hot", which matters when you are short... as water cools as it falls! And having hot, not tepid water cured the dishwasher's "issues" too! We will use them again.

They found a worn rubber flange around one of my stacks and also some missing top vent shingles. Replaced everything and charged $133 for the repair. Roof does not leak and all is ok. I am writing this review because a competitor wanted to charge me $3,000 to replace 3 sections of roof. They were very professional and I would highly recommend them.

I gave my address and never heard back, so I moved on to another company. Today, 10 days after they never responded after I gave my address, while in the middle of a meeting, I hear a bang outside and my dog freaks out. I go outside to find two men with a ladder against the front of my house and climbing to the roof! I had no idea they were coming and they were fully on their way to climbing up my house without my permission! The problem wasn't even on the roof, so I have no idea what they would have done once they got up there. When I messaged the company to say I didn't appreciate them coming unannounced and unscheduled, I was told it was my fault for not specifying that I expected a call before they showed up! Wild. Do NOT send this company your address--even for an estimate--or else they may randomly show up to your house and climb up on your roof unannounced and they will go up there whether you are home or not. Then if it bothers you they will blame YOU!

I have found Marcy the owner is to be straightforward and honest, and though she can be a bit brusque at times, as she is in the Philadelphia roofing business I can understand. Their pricing is reasonable for quality of work. No roofer is cheap and if you apparently find one, don't trust them. We have a complicated roofscape (skylights, large AC unit mounts and penetrations, and major crickets required to clear drainage obstructions) and some leaking problems that predate our ownership. Castelli, and particularly their foreman Jimmy, have been generous in attending to drainage problems that may or may not have been a result of their work. I appreciate their work and the efforts made to help us negotiate our finicky roof.
