Old, very thick, cement had to be removed in front of the garage and around the back before they could lay down the Techno-bloc pavers. The job included removing the cement, laying down a substrate, installing drainage, building a decorative wall, laying down the pavers, installing a walkway partially around the house, along with adding and relocating existing shrubs. Hard work. The crew worked long hours, and didn't complain if changes needed to be made. And, they took great care and pride in their work. Dane, who beautifully designed the patio for us, was, also, a dream to work with. if we had concerns or changes that we decided to make last minute, he was extremely accommodating, and very polite. His professional and easy- going personality is one of the reasons why we chose to go with Gill's Landscaping following our initial meeting. All-in-all, it was the most enjoyable, and minimally stressful contractor experience that we've ever had.

I have used a variety of companies and some private individuals more that 11 years to deliver cord…read morewood for burning. This year, I used ACC, and up until delivery (November 26 2016), they were good to work with. I ordered three cords of wood and when they arrived, it looked short. Once it was stacked, it was short a cord, at $190 per cord. I asked them to come measure and they refused. I asked them to either deliver another cord or refund me for the shorted cord, and they also refused. Additionally, there was a bit of "punky" wood in the delivery. Either, they can't measure a cord or they are hoping the customer can't. Not sure. Be careful with these guys. I had to report it to the authorities

After hearing about him through some neighbors, we gave Dom a call and scheduled some time for him to come discuss our ideas, likes, dislikes, etc. Not only was he the nicest guy imaginable, he was very thorough in finding out what we liked, going through photos of previous jobs and a catalog of plants that he thought would suit our taste. We talked for quite a while and he left, promising to return with sketches, pictures and a quote. He came back with exactly that. A diagram of both areas we wanted redone complete with not only what he picked out, but with some fantastic suggestions as well. We talked through everything, made some minor changes and at the end, VERY slightly adjusted the price (we ended up going with a few things that cost more than the original estimate). We talked it over and called him to let him know we were ready to go and he was there the next day with his crew completely transforming our house. In 3 days they've managed to completely change the way we look at our house through their work. What I loved the most was that Dom was there 80% of the time and made sure we loved everything he did. He planted a color plant we thought we wanted, we decided we hated it and he replaced 3 of them, free of charge. Truly just an honest hardworking guy with fair prices. I'd recommend him to anyone.

The times I watched the crew I was impressed with their attention to detail and respect for me and the property. Dom was especially careful to make sure there would be no negative impacts to the irrigation system, and coordinated with the contractor replacing an old wooden porch. The site was left neat every evening. He always responded quickly to any of my communications. I was pleasantly surprised that where my lawn had been flattened out by their equipment, I was offered the choice of sod or seeding to replace that lawn section at no additional cost.
