So I finally found my new favorite local pizza place. You know it's the one if you eat there three days in a row. I went there last week because I was craving a couple slices of pizza and I got more than what I expected. First of all when you walk in the man behind if the counter Mr. Nagi greats you warmly and says hello to you. The menu of all of the food items and specials including pictures are located on the wall. I the first night I ordered the Pizza Special (two slices and a soda for $6.99). Additional toppings are 75 cents each so I got two slices of pepperoni and a Dr. Pepper. I was told it would be about a 15 minute wait since my food was being prepared. I definely got more than what I bargained for because these slices were huge! Sorry I don't have pictures of the first night because the pizza was so good I ate it immediately. But the second night I got the same thing except for dinner except I put bacon on my slices instead. When I tell you they used real slices of bacon it was real thick slices . My boyfriend decided to get their wings and fries with blue cheese and he really liked his meal as well. So the following day I wanted to try their Stromboli. Their small is $10 plus toppings are 75 cents each and if that's a small I can't imagine what a large is because that small was huge. I had to cut it in half and it lasted me for lunch that day as well as lunch the following day. I love going to Nina's Pizza because the service is great. The food is hot and fresh and the ambiance has such a positive vibe. read more

This is a neighborhood pizza place. The place has been here forever. The management and I think owners have also changed throughout the years, but the name remained the same. It is a takeout type of place. They don't deliver, but you have options with other delivery companies to help with that. When you go inside. It is casual. the place is a little neglected inside and the sittings space is limited. The place does not have many tables. I suggest ordering out only. The pepperoni pizza was good today. The cheese mixture and crust tasted good. I ordered the garlic rolls and I thought they were okay. I have ordered them before. Sometimes they have that fresh garlic bite that I like to them and sometimes they don't. Sometimes they have parmesan and sometimes they don't. Today they did not have either lol. Nina's Pizza is just down the road from me, and being a guy who never turned down a slice, it's seemed almost required to write a review of there pies. I have ordered from Nina's a few times as the pizza got to my door this week was just like all the others, fantastic. Deciding what pizza is better than another is so subjective as so many people have different ways they like their pizza. Thin, thick, super thin, light sauce heavy sauce etc. So the best way in my mind is to stick with ingredients. And Nina does it well. Sausage, pepperoni, the veggies, all are done right. I don't sense any corners were cut when prepping like the onions for example. They look and taste fresh. Service. I was warned it would take maybe 40 minutes. I literally jumped when there was a knock at my door after 20 min and nice guy was standing there with my pie( I have a code to enter my building. And pizza driver worth his salt skips the code part). If you are within a couple miles of Nina's I would say it's a good "call" to call Nina's. read more

Ordered because of the star rating but I should've looked closer at the reviews. I'm from the Northeast where pizza is a God. Since moving here 4 months ago, I've been on the hunt for a good pizza. Well, this isn't it. I can only guess that the good reviews here are because Nina' s was able to provide a round edible pizza. I decided to pick up the pizza rather than delivery because it would've been faster. Big mistake! This isn't the cleanest place with very worn counters and flooring, tired work spaces and the guy making s sandwich wasn't wearing gloves. As s germ-a-phobe, I should've high tailed it out of there but I was hungry and I just assumed the 500 degree oven killed anything living on my pizza. When I got it home 10 minutes later, I shoved the pizza stone in the oven and cranked it to 425. As I was putting the first slice in, u could tell the crust was limp and soggy. Afer, 5 minutes, I finally took a bite. The crust was crisper but tasted very similar to white bread, the sauce had waaay to much oregano, and the canned olives tasted horrible. Nina's has always been good and has been around for over 10 years. So tonight I wanted to order something different so I got a cheese steak for me. On it is mushrooms, onions, and peppers just the right amount not too overwhelming to take away from the flavor of tbe steak. Chicken parmigiana for my son. My hubby wasn't too hungry so he got fried mushrooms with a choice of ranch or horseradish for dipping. Prices are fairly priced. All the portions were very large so my other half of the cheesesteak hopefully will be as great later for a midnight snack. My hubby couldn't even make a dent in the fried mushrooms. Ordered delivery to my hotel. Absolutely worst experience. They never told me that they can't come inside my hotel to deliver the food. I could understand if they told me that upfront I would have been prepared to come down and get it. So of course I don't find this out until the food is here and I've got to hustle to get down stairs to pick it up. Food quality- it was horrid. Grease all over the place. Just look at the pictures. By far the worst pizza I have ever had. I guess this is just the cost of doing business sometimes. When you are hungry you take what you can get. Never again will they get my $$$$! Nina's saved our day!! We checked into our hotel and was immediately shocked by the exorbitant prices charged at the resort and quickly turned to Yelp for help. We found Nina's, gave them a call and was sad they didn't deliver to our hotel, BUT....they informed of if the Uber Eats app that partners with Nina's and we had good within a half hour! The calzone was cold, full of grease, and the spinach tasted like canned and had a foul odor, definitely not fresh ingredients.
