Absolutely delicious! We came for the momos and ended up trying a bunch of different dishes (including delicious momos). We came as a group of 5 during a soccer match and had no trouble getting seated- they did have the game playing on a large tv at the back but didn't bother us. The staff was very friendly, happy to answer questions, and also was careful to let us know when we were ordering crazier dishes but didn't push back when we said yeah we want to try it XD I forgot to write this review right away and I can't remember exactly what combo of fillings we got with our momos, but they were all great. The chilly sauce one was good though on the sweet side- some of the group weren't a big fan but I loved it I think the spice balances out the sweet. If we didn't have multiple flavors to try I may have gotten tired of it but I really enjoyed having all the different versions. I think the Jhol was my favorite- the spicy sauce was delicous and I dipped some of the other items in it once we finished the momos! We also tried the sandheko ones which were fun and unique- the herbs/veggies they were tossed with were great. We also tried the special khaja set- this was super fun and something I had never tried before. We all agreed that most restaurants in Austin advertising Nepali food usually serve typical Indian dishes plus momos, so it was fun and exciting to have other Nepali dishes I had never tried on the menu! The set was great, the flattened rice wasn't my favorite but it sure was interesting! I'd highly recommend it if you want to try something new! The only dish I personally didn't enjoy (this is the one the server warned us about) was a mutton dish. I can't pinpoint what menu item it is but it was just pieces of mutton with some spices to dip them in. My husband enjoyed this and ate a good portion but I found it to be so incredibly gamey I could barely finish the first piece lol. Absolutely no points off as it was definitely a personal preference thing and awesome that they have adventurous options! We also got a curry of some sort that was delicious, and some great mixed drinks. We all agreed that we absolutely must come back and try more of the massive menu!! read more

Super delicious and fragrant! When I heard there was an Indian/Nepali restaurant open near where I live, I was so excited. It's where the old Cici's Pizza used to be! Honestly I wish I could try out the whole menu in one sitting. The only thing is I'm not very experienced in this cuisine, so I had to look up a lot of the foods from the menu on my phone. The food was very good, albeit slow. The server had a had time understanding us, was slow, and was not intuitive. E.g., doesn't bring silverware, chai after we ordered it. I have tried their chicken curry, momo, mutton sekuwa, chowmein, panipuri, and chatpate, but I'm only a fan of their panipuri and chowmein. The panipuri tastes just like in Nepal--spicy and tangy with filling of aaloo. It's a food truck, so you order at the window and pick up your food yourself. This Nepali food truck has become one of my go-to spots, and it never disappoints. I've been here many times, and the food is always tasty. My favorite thing to get is the Pani Puri -- it's an Indian-Nepali street food, and honestly, I think it's the best Pani Puri I've had in the U.S. The chow mein is also amazing and full of flavor. They also serve momos, which are good, but I've had better ones elsewhere. Still, they're decent if you're in the mood. One thing to keep in mind -- Nepali food can be very spicy, so be sure to let them know your spice level when you order. I learned that the hard way and now I always ask for mild! I've tried a few other items, but I usually stick to my favorites: Pani Puri and chow mein. There's a taco truck nearby, and parking is available right next to the food truck. It can get hot during the summer, but they do have covered seating and fans, which helps a lot. Overall, it's a great quick-stop spot for street food. We recently tried a Nepali food truck and, though it was a bit tricky to find with GPS, we managed to locate it in a food truck area alongside a taco truck. Be aware, parking is limited, and the lot filled up quickly when we visited on a Saturday night. We called in our order for pick-up and tried the mutton Bhutan, dried buffalo, jhol momo, chicken C momo, chicken chili, and veg pakora. Everything was delicious, but the standout dishes were definitely the chicken chili and jhol momo. The veggie pakauda was more of a patty instead of a fried fritter. The patties were good and spicy it just wasn't what I was expecting it to look like. Service was quick when calling on the phone to order and when picking up. If I'm in the area again, I'll be eager to explore more from their menu. read more

The chicken wings dish is my favorite. I love to sing and they have Karaoke platform and delicious drinks. The staff are very nice and beautiful! I cannot ask for more. Oh my god, I didn't know Austin had so many great Nepali food places! This place didn't disappoint. I ordered via DoorDash, and got the Veg Jhol Momo, Veg Chilli Momo, and the Veg Chow Mein. The Jhol Momo was a little spicy, but perfect for the cold weather. The chili momo packed an insane amount of flavor, and the momo filling was also very tasty. The chow mein was good as well. When we arrived there was one other table occupied and several waitresses were on the floor. The menu is not helpful for those not familiar with the food. They were out of the main dish my daughter and I ordered. The waitress did not seem interested in helping us make another selection or even come back for our order. We stumbled upon this gem on the eve of Holi and we were in for a treat. I asked the cashier what I absolutely had to try as a first time Nepalese food-trier and she recommend the Chicken Khaja set. It was so tasty! The main dish was the Chili Chicken which was very spicy but amazingly flavorful. I'd recommend also trying the Bhatmas Sandhako which is the bottom left dish on my tray. I really wanted to like this place. A nice change from tacos! Alas, I can't say that I did. I wanted the chicken biryani, but they were out of it. Okay, so I ordered the chicken curry with rice. The wait was rather long (especially for a food truck), but it would have been worth it if the food had been good. It was not. The chicken was mostly gristle and bones and skin, as if it were made from chicken knuckles (I know, I know, chicken don't have knuckles). Some of the bones were small -- hard to see and easy to swallow by mistake. It was hard to find any meat. And the curry sauce wasn't the creamy yellow, red or green that I was expecting. Instead, it was a semi-clear brown. It was greasy, and it didn't taste of much of anything other than spicy heat. The rice was pretty good -- long grain and lots of it.
