Last night, I visited Nimto with my friends for a late-night dinner after a movie. This place stays open late, making it perfect for night owls. The menu is extensive, but as a frequent visitor, I knew exactly what to order. Their pani puri is hands down the best I've had in the USA-authentic Kolkata-style puchka with that signature spicy kick. Just a heads-up: it's quite spicy, tailored for a South Asian palate. We also tried the chicken momos and mixed vegetable noodles. The street-style noodles brought back memories of roadside eats, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked.

I'm still new to Nepali food but my friend is from Nepal and she said this place is legit. I was so shook on how much I liked this place and the food. I still think about the chicken chow mein. The fusion between Indian and Asian culture needs to be studied because this place is SO good and the seasoning is so on point! The menu is so extensive so ask for recommendations but you cannot go wrong with their noodles and dumplings!

This Nepali food truck has become one of my go-to spots, and it never disappoints. I've been here many times, and the food is always tasty. My favorite thing to get is the Pani Puri -- it's an Indian-Nepali street food, and honestly, I think it's the best Pani Puri I've had in the U.S. The chow mein is also amazing and full of flavor. They also serve momos, which are good, but I've had better ones elsewhere. Still, they're decent if you're in the mood. One thing to keep in mind -- Nepali food can be very spicy, so be sure to let them know your spice level when you order. I learned that the hard way and now I always ask for mild! I've tried a few other items, but I usually stick to my favorites: Pani Puri and chow mein. There's a taco truck nearby, and parking is available right next to the food truck. It can get hot during the summer, but they do have covered seating and fans, which helps a lot. Overall, it's a great quick-stop spot for street food. Whenever I crave Pani Puri, this is where you'll find me!

We recently tried a Nepali food truck and, though it was a bit tricky to find with GPS, we managed to locate it in a food truck area alongside a taco truck. Be aware, parking is limited, and the lot filled up quickly when we visited on a Saturday night. We called in our order for pick-up and tried the mutton Bhutan, dried buffalo, jhol momo, chicken C momo, chicken chili, and veg pakora. Everything was delicious, but the standout dishes were definitely the chicken chili and jhol momo. The veggie pakauda was more of a patty instead of a fried fritter. The patties were good and spicy it just wasn't what I was expecting it to look like. Service was quick when calling on the phone to order and when picking up. If I'm in the area again, I'll be eager to explore more from their menu.

Been meaning to try this place and so glad I did. The chicken chow mein is unlike any other I've tried and it's really good. The momos aka dumplings were fresh and delicious as well. The guy at the counter was friendly and walked me through the menu which I'm grateful for..

Open late! Samosas were freshly made, steaming hot and full of filling. Highly recommend the sadheko fried momo- basically pan fried dumplings cut in half and served with onions and tomato's in a house sauce. Very tasty and worth stopping by!

Delicious food! We love the momo here, especially the steamed chicken. The pani puri is okay. The mustang aloo is so good, it's spicy and flavorful. The food truck is busy and there is always a long wait time however the staff is really nice. Probably one of our favorite Nepali food trucks in the Austin area!

Oh my god, I didn't know Austin had so many great Nepali food places! This place didn't disappoint. I ordered via DoorDash, and got the Veg Jhol Momo, Veg Chilli Momo, and the Veg Chow Mein. The Jhol Momo was a little spicy, but perfect for the cold weather. The chili momo packed an insane amount of flavor, and the momo filling was also very tasty. The chow mein was good as well. Overall, the food was insanely good, might just be my favorite momo spot in ATX!

    Cooker momo

I went recently and honestly the food was amazing. The flavors felt so fresh and authentic. The cooker momo was the best part -- super juicy, perfectly cooked, and so tasty. It reminded me of the momo which I used to have in Nepal . The service was friendly Sneha was my server she was so friendly and best server I ever have and the place just had a nice, cozy vibe.

I decided to meet a friend that lives downtown Austin for some ice cream at the The Baked Bear, a frequent hang out spot for her and my first visit. The Baked Bear is located in the Seaholm complex between Cesar Chavez and 3rd Streets near West Avenue. After a couple of samples, I decided on Blackberry Crumble. Our server was so sweet and kind including suggesting some of the shop's favorites. OMG the ice cream was so smooth...so flavorful...so absolutely delicious to eat. Interestingly, the ice cream was reasonably priced. It was great cooling off and enjoying catching up with my friend.

I prefer the mini but they're sold out a lot which shows you how spectacular this place is. My go to is the nutty valentine. The donut is always warm, fresh, and crispy. When we went our choices were $9-$10 donut base desserts. I say base because the toppings cover up the donut visually. Despite that, there's no covering that scrumptious taste and texture. Wowaweea. Yes, you feel your cells expand and pants tighten and it is for sure run club pre and post, but quite worth it. These divine donuts have that cakey interior I love so much. We had the Puddin': cream cheese icing, vanilla pudding, fresh bananas with nilla wafers. According to the menu. Ours didn't have any nilla wafers and the presentation was uneven, hence the four stars. I didn't miss the wafers. The icing and pudding were one goopy topping and the bananas slices were half scattered slices and half banana chunk that I had to separate. Side notes: Gourdough sits on a corner with parking spots that are not free. There's a pay via QR code so you'll need a phone or something to scan that. Boo for digital shackles. Next note- I feel like this is a low key meet up spot. Like the way they tried to make the first train cars on the MTA the singles car? There was a series of singles getting doughnuts and they were a little done up for the occasion. Who knows. With the little IG ready love seats and doughnuts made for sharing, you could walk away with extra sugar.

Even so, the ambience seems like the decorations were cute, but very cheap and damaged overtime with little to no repairs. But I didn't come here for aesthetics. I came here for great Boba tea and sweet treats. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. What looked like a traditional milk toast dessert, was literally four pieces of stale bread, toasted and stacked on top of each other. that tasted freezer burnt with lots of sauce on top. No topping between each layer so it was not flavorful or tasty and all you could taste was a weird chemical flavor from the bread. Same thing with the ice cream, so freezer burnt that it tasted of chemicals, cardboard, and didn't even melt despite sitting on the plate for 15+ minutes. The Taro tea itself was fine with the crème brûlée topping, but the brown sugar Boba had the same chemical "going bad" flavor to it. It was super hard and bitter tasting instead of sweet. The soufflé pancakes were fine, but the ice cream was terrible on that too. It's hard to mess up Ice Cream, but somehow they managed.

The cheesecake shop is located on N. Lamar in Crescent Plaza and focuses on takeout rather than dine-in service. I ordered their signature Japanese cheesecake, and it was delicious.
