Sunday evening I came home from a dinner and was quickly greeted by a leaking living room ceiling…read more A pretty horrible ending to an otherwise pleasant weekend. I suppose I should consider myself fortunate that this was my first residential plumbing emergency. My home is less than 10 years old, and this type of thing was new for me...so I didn't know who to call (especially on a Sunday evening). I texted my business partner (who purchased an older home a few years ago in my neighborhood) because I figured he may know a plumber he trusted. He immediately texted me Mark's # and told me to give him a ring. I followed his instructions and Mark from MFS Plumbing was at my door within the hour. Mark not only stopped the leak quickly, but he also made the necessary repairs on the spot (saving me from a costly second visit during normal business hours). We worked quickly, kept me updated throughout the process, and cleaned up any debris once the work was done. I was happy to pay what seemed like a very reasonable fee considering how quickly he arrived and how professional the work was. Mark's # is saved in my phone and I will not hesitate to contact him in the future if I have another plumbing issue, and I will be referring him to anyone I know who needs plumbing services. Thank you MFS! *2 Pics attached of my ceiling. As good as new!

Mark Simpson SUPER PLUMBER saved my family's Christmas!…read more I recently purchased a condo in Santa Monica and this was going to be my first year hosting Christmas for my family. Everyone was scheduled to arrive on December 24th, and the night of the 23rd my hot water heater stopped working. It was 8pm and I needed to get the problem fixed immediately. Craigslist has often been my go-to source for finding contractors, so I hopped on and saw an ad for MFS Plumbing. I made the call and was instantly impressed with Mark's friendly demeanor, Scottish accent, and enthusiasm for getting my problem solved. He arrived at my home within 25 minutes and quickly diagnosed the issue. Mark gave me 3 options, clearly and concisely explaining not only what the issue was but how we could fix it. He gave me a Fixed Price to Repair, Repair & Replace, and a New Installation. Given the age / condition of the water heater that I inherited with my condo, I decided to buy a new one from MFS and they gave me a 10 Year Tank Warranty in writing. The price was very reasonable. I signed the Contract and Mark was back with a Tank in just a couple of hours. His Assistant covered my floors in protective pvc plastic sheeting, they all wore Boot Covers (nice touch) and removed my old heater safely and efficiently. Before I knew it they had the new tank in and all plumbing work complete. I had Hot Water within 60 minutes of the guys leaving and was delighted from start to finish. Thank you MARK and your team. You Saved the Day !!!!

I am so surprised at myself that I haven't done a Yelp review on this quick, efficient, helpful…read moreservice called 911 Plumbing. The name speaks on its own. This review is a bit overdue. Since our old plumber didn't know anything about fixing/repairing things that are not working properly, I had to look around and found this company. This is a family owned business that has been around for over 30 years. They specialize in fixing sinks, toilets, drain stoppers, main line stoppers, garbage disposals, dishwashers, kitchen water lines, and more.. I used this company twice before. Once for my sink's garbage disposal, and the other time was for the sinks in both of my bathrooms. My landlord bought this cheap faucet that they use at fast food chain restaurants, and didn't do anything with the valve or the damages, that was caused by the leaks that literally became to be a lake in both bathrooms. My cleaning supplies, toilet papers, paper towels that I keep under my sink were SO wet along with both floors. The job that those 2 guys did in an hour and a half, took my old plumber to do in 5 hours and was still not fixed. It was like putting a band-aid on a wound. The process was so fast, seamless, and professional.. I am so grateful that I found this plumbing company that did an exceptional, excellent job for both my bathrooms, and my garbage disposal in my kitchen. Since my landlord didn't want to pay for it, we paid $800.00 out of pocket and I deducted from our rent. It was a mess, now everything is fixed, looks nice and clean. Shout out to their secretary too. She gave us an estimated time and date and both guys were in front of my door 10 minutes prior. 10/10. Open 24/7 for our convenience.. Thank you, highly recommend to those, who are looking for great, knowledgeable, professional plumbers such as 911 plumbing..

However, the caulk in the shower was only partially redone. He told us to find another person who will finish it. He reinstalled the toilet but something happened and the toilet is not flushing. He came back to snake it but it did not solve the issue. The problem is not a clog, there is something else wrong but he insisted we get a new toilet. This problem had never occurred before he reinstalled the toilet. He was supposed to show up today since he said he will come back to see what the issue is. He did not show. We tried to communicate with him and offered to pay for labor and the toilet. The kitchen sink needs snacking and he refused to do it at no cost. We offered to pay full price for the problem he very very likely caused. We are left with a toilet that is not working and a shower that needs to be caulked. When it comes to taking accountability, not a lot of plumbers are reliable. Pilo is the same.

After multiple attempts with the hydro jetter the line was cleared and everything was flowing properly. I was shown with the camera some areas that may cause problems in the future. While they were there, they also put the camera down the main sewer line to the street and showed me some of the roots coming through the clay pipe. He said that nothing urgent needed to be done but they could come back in a month or so to clean out the sewer line all the way to the street. I called Ari back a few months later to have the preventative maintenance done. So glad I did. There were some areas that were starting to get a lot of roots building up. When they finished, once again they showed me the sewer line. It was so clean with no roots all the way to the city hook up, spotless. I don't expect to have any problems for quite some time.
