MUST HAVE! Elan is the MUST-HAVE plumber that you should have on your speed dial! He'd worked on home in Venice Beach before so I know how good and honest he is. His recent work on my home in Manhattan Beach further solidifies his genuineness. I had issues with my storm drains where it didn't drain well causing standing water along the side of my house. Elan came gave me the best estimate compared many others. He spent 2 days worked on tirelessly. At the end he needed a sump-pump. He charged me exactly what the store charged him and didn't charge me a dime for the installation! read more

Elan came to our condo very promptly and diagnosed the problem. He then helped me remove a large mirror and fixed a leak in the shower plumbing, helping me put back the mirror afterwards. His team are prompt, courteous and professional. Can't ask for anything more. Thank you Elan and team. read more

Incredibly honest and trustworthy! I cannot recommend Elan enough! Came out quick and fixed the problem and cut through all the typical BS that I've dealt with bigger companies. Don't hesitate, call Elan! read more

I called him the day when the gas company reported a gas leak and he came the next day! Super nice guy; he really knows his stuff and answered all my questions. He fixed our leak in our vent and under the house. Defintely would recommend! read more

That Lady and I started moving back into our home after a year, since the Palisades Fire. After a few days we noticed the kitchen sink was backing up, So after some unsuccessful attempts to clear it out we contacted Elan. First, nice man. On top of his game. We did it right by hydro jetting the waste line (with all the work done at our home no telling what got in the line). After the hydro clean out from the outside clean out , Elan cleaned the line and replaced the P-trap before the clean out. Now it is tight, water flows freely and we have peace of mind, which after being in a fire is a real value. read more

Elan did a great job! Great communication, on time, no surprises. Would definitely recommend read more

We were in need of plumbing services when the bath/shower faucet and diverter were malfunctioning. We called upon Elan's Plumbing Service once again. Elan showed up on time and ready to do what was needed. The parts that were used were of high quality and the work that was done was top notch. This review is coming from someone who is very picky and detailed oriented. I rarely give anyone a 5 star review. Elan deserves all 5 stars. If I am happy with EPS, then anyone else should be happy as well. You would be foolish not to have Elan work on any plumbing situation. Highly recommended!!! read more

Came out in the pouring rain on short notice to fix a burst pipe. Professional, honest, fast, and very capable. Highly recommended.

Can't say enough good things about Elan! I had a semi-emergent plumbing problem on a Sunday. Elan was very responsive to my call, and showed up within a few hours to fix the P-trap under the kitchen sink. He was efficient, professional, and personable. And to top everything off, his price was very reasonable at nearly half the price of a few other plumbers that I contacted. I highly recommend Elan's Plumbing Solutions for any future plumbing services. read more

Elan is simply the BEST plumber. For over 30 years, I've tried several other plumbers (including other "5 star" Yelp plumbers), and Elan definitely is a stand out, for several reasons: 1) He answers his phone! (No voicemail) 2) Punctual -- texts you regarding his approximate arrival time 3) Honest: my kitchen faucet "leak" was due to a sprayer that was partially unscrewed (a dishonest plumber would have insisted on my buying & installing an entire replacement) 4) Reasonable repair price 5) Great diagnosing plumbing problem & double checking his work. (He repaired 2 plumbing problems that other plumbers could not solve or were misdiagnosed) Finally! --- a reliable, expert plumber is found after years of searching for myself and neighbors. You can count on Elan for top notch plumbing repairs. read more

Elan replaced my water heater and also installed an expansion tank. Elan did everything by the book, pulled permits as I requested and was very professional. I was very impressed with his expertise and pricing. He passed all LADBS inspections and I would definitely recommend him. read more

Elan's Plumbing Solutions - Plumbing Near Me

Add one more 5-star review for Elan. He is no frills, just an experienced expert at his craft. We had a busted kitchen faucet and a leaky shutoff valve to our sink. I called at 8:15 in the morning, he was at our door before 10:00. He inspected the problem, went to the supply house to get the parts, returned, and was done by 11:30. His labor cost was less than what I had been quoted for just a house call fee by another highly rated plumbing company here on yelp. I was seriously dumbfounded by how reasonable his price was, after getting quotes from two other plumbers. I am so grateful that this worked out the way it did. I had called another plumber to set an appointment, but they couldn't get here for five days. Then they called back to delay my appointment by another day. I opted to move down the Yelp list to the next plumber, which was Elan, and I am SOOOOOOO grateful I did. Thank you for high quality, fast, reasonably priced service. read more

This was the best experience I could have hoped for. Elan is an absolute professional. excellent communication and excellent work. He flew through our (many) plumbing issues, solved each one and left the place clean. The price was very fair and Elan is super personable and helpful. We've gone through many plumbers. Save yourself the trouble and hire this company. You'll be very glad you did! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Elon and his crew. We had a water main leak disaster, and Elon came to the rescue. His team got the job done quickly, professionally, and at a very fair price. He's honest, reliable, and skilled--the kind of plumber you can truly count on. From now on, he'll be our go-to plumber, and I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for great service at a reasonable rate. read more

Elan came to our home early morning Sunday Mother's Day (!) to help with a damaged shower faucet. Prior to this, I had to shut off water to my entire home which is a big bother. He was knowledgeable and after going to the store to find a replacement part, he reinstalled it and made everything right again. A pretty easy fix but I did not have the time on Mother's Day. Back in action after just a couple of hours. Thank you again, Elan. read more

I would give Elan's Plumbing five stars. I had a leak in my backyard and Elon fixed it. He was very responsive returning my call and fixing the leak. He is also doing a major plumbing issue with sewage backup for a friend of mine I highly recommend Elan's Plumbing. read more

I love that we have working sewage systems in Los Angeles. I don't love it when my house smells like one of those sewage systems. Elan took my call on the weekend, showed up on the weekend, and solved my plumbing problem on the weekend. Much appreciated, highly recommended. read more

Yelpers guided me to a great find with Elan. Professional, prompt and no BS. He helped fix a leak in our bathroom in no time and was careful, clean and considerate the whole way through. 100% recommend. read more

We had a major emergency with sewage coming up into the house. Elan came over as quickly as he could, called in two different other people to help with the very thorny clog, and tried to make sure the place stayed as clean as possible given the circumstances. He solved our problem and then tried to low-ball his rate. It was just luck that we called him because he was the person who could get here the fastest, but we ended up finding a plumber I would trust for any future problems. read more

Elan was a god send. We had a gas leak and the gas company turned off our gas. We needed someone to come quickly and cap the pipe that was leaking. I called four other companies before him and was quoted up to $1,000.00 and other services to check for gas leaks. He suggested not running the other tests because the gas company does them when they come to check and save us $700. If there were other leaks he would come back and we would go from there. None of the other companies suggested this. He was prompt, so kind, warm demeanor, and he cleaned up afterwards not leaving a mess. His price was beyond reasonable. He called to follow up the same day to see if the gas company came and if everything went well (it did). We will use Elan for all of our plumbing needs. I know we will never be overcharged, he does a wonderful job, and my kids really liked him as did we. Great person and a great plumber. Thank you Elan! read more

I called Elan this past Monday to fix my leaking kitchen faucet. I texted him a picture of my faucet and asked him to purchase a similar one as replacement. He quoted me a labor charge and made an appointment for next day 8am. Elan showed up at 8am the next day, and right away I was impressed by his punctuality, as I've never had serviceman showing up on time. He then diagnosed my plumbing system and replaced my faucet and serviced all connected plumbing perfectly. Now my under sink space is clean and dry. He charged me exactly as he quoted, and even gave me the faucet receipt in case we don't like the one he bought and need to get another faucet. As an engineer and a college professor, I am very impressed with his professionalism and workmanship. This is the first time I used his service, but Elan is now my go to guy if I need any plumbing work done in my house or my other rental properties. read more

Elan helped me out in a pinch and did a very good job. Even fixed my toilet for free.

There are no words to say what a saint Elan Balmas Plumbing can do, five stars isn't enough more like ten stars, five diamonds. When my mom's years old garbage disposal wasn't working, she excepted the worst and was already writing a eulogy for it,but Elan came in a in less than thirty minutes had it up and running. If anyone on the Westside need that plumbing solution, then speed dial to Elan. Absolutely Truly The Best I've dealt in plumbing. Thank You Elan!! read more

Elan is professional, honest, and takes pride in his work. A real throw back. He helped with several emergencies at an older home I was renting that had awful plumbing issues and now I'm trusting him to repair / upgrade the plumbing for a home I just purchased. read more

Elan is awesome! He was super prompt, knowledgeable and fixed my plumbing issue (which included buying parts) within a couple of hours of contacting him! He's also a really great guy -- really friendly and helpful and totally trustworthy. It's so great to find a plumber that knows what he's doing and is so responsive and efficient! And he will do only what is necessary and appropriate and won't take advantage of someone (like myself) who is clueless about anything plumbing-related and who could be persuaded to do or fix things that don't need fixing. That's the sign of a true professional -- someone who really cares about his customers and just wants to help -- that's the kind of plumber you will get with Elan. So happy I found him! All those 5-star reviews are spot on! I'm very happily adding mine to all the other ones! read more

We needed a plumber on a Sunday for a clogged kitchen drain. I looked on Yelp for plumbers who worked on Sunday (yes, they exist) and found Elan. I left him a message and received a quick call back. Elan gave us a reasonable estimate and said he could be at our home within 2 hours. He arrived promptly, checked the issue, and got to work. He was quick and efficient. I told him I would also need to replace two faucets and a showerhead, perhaps later in the week. Since I had the pieces already, he replaced them then and there. It was great! We found our new plumber. I would highly recommend him. read more

Our thermostatic shower broke while a tenant was living on our property and we, the owners, live far away. We needed a knowledgeable and empathetic plumber who could not only help us find a solution to a complicated issue but also help us acquire the right materials, and Elan was our man! He squeezed us in the same day we called him for a walkthrough of the job, helped me find the right parts on Amazon, then came the following week to fix our shower. We are very happy with his service and would not hesitate to work with him again. read more
