Later my therapist told me she went to a dentist who told her she would lose all her teeth if she didn't do scaling. She went back to her old dentist in Pasadena CA he told her it was not true they just wanted her money. She referred me to that dentist he was fair never asked for anything extra and was Always upfront with all cost. I needed an alignment after moving to KC was referred to Dentures plus. The staff gave alignment had me sign no warranty or money back right before getting alignment. I asked about regular cleaning I was told they absolutely could not do a cleaning without my dental records from CA I paid to have them sent . It turns out they meant scaling which I had not decided I wanted yet. I feel they wanted money. I may need the scaling but I didn't wish to be pushed into it and the regular cleaning wasn't even an option. Now I need to have a tooth looked at but I'm afraid to go back to them. Are there any dentists out there that are fair and not only interested in money?

The dental hygenists are professional, courteous, and know exactly what they are doing. When they finish their cleaning, Dr. Bowles comes in, and actually spends time with you to explain concerns and gets to know you and your life. I hunted a practice like this down since I moved to Overland Park a few years ago, and I won't go anywhere else. I have recommended them to many friends and several have gone here! I was getting a filling and she had a drill in her hand and made a cut under my tongue and completely dismissed it with no apology. I was bleeding and sore for days. Second, I had to go back in (take off more work) because she didn't file my tooth down correctly so my bite was uneven for days. Third, she didn't fill in my filling all the way so now there is a discolored hole on my tooth. It is extremely hard to floss where there was a filling done. The dentist is extremely anxiety inducing for me and this experience was horrible. I have had months to sit on this experience and I still feel the same exact way as when it first happened.

I'm glad that our insurance changed and we found Belton Modern Dentistry as a result. Will definitely continue our dental care and recommend them to friends and family. I drive right up to my main doctor office and got a referral to another office down the street and they started the work right there. I've been a long time member for over a decade. I even received invisalign paid out of my pocket 5k..I will not come back to this office. As long as that biking lady is there wth her rude self. They admitted the previous doctor looked at it wrong, and they were able to correct it finally. They also charged me for it!!! I don't recommend going to this dentist, they are not doing a good job, and charge you for corrections of mistakes they made themselves.
