I wanted an orthodontic viewpoint on a solution prior to the crowns and veneers flying. I chose to seek out the expertise from this group of Doctors as my son had his braces done with them & they were great. Kathy at the front desk was always pleasant too. Nancy, assistant to Dr. Beth Blackwell Nill began by asking me questions, listening and looking in my mouth. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Nill came in to meet with me. Same routine- asked questions, listened to my thoughts and examined my mouth. She discovered broken porcelain in between the two teeth and advised a more simple and cost effective solution to my problem would be to have another crown replaced rather than go down the path of orthodontia. Her passion for her work is clear and she has experience to back her expertise. She also gave me some great information about shading with respect to veneers and crowns, going to the labs and strongly encouraged me to make sure I was extremely satisfied with the work. When expressing my enormous gratitude to them for their help, they both assured me they were happy to help and even said I could call with more questions. Bottom line, I know their work is excellent as my son had his braces done here. After my consultation with Nancy & Dr. Blackwell Nill this morning, I have immense respect for their honesty, love of their work and product, and willingness to help. Dr. Haggerty charged me $275 to tell me that he won't take my case b/c I am a high risk patient. He…read moredidn't say I shouldn't have the procedure done; he advised me to see a surgeon who would perform it. He didn't want to oversee my care because of the possibility that there would be complications and, basically, he didn't want to deal with those complications down the line. Also, they billed me under the Delta Dental code 9310 so they could charge the full rate, rather than D0140, under which I could have gotten the discounted DD rate. I'm sure he's a skilled surgeon, but he prioritizes $$ over patient's well-being.

Dr. Morris and his staff made no effort to ensure I was comfortable or cared for -- they completely dismissed my anxiety and concerns, and instead of helping, made me feel like a burden. A doctor who refuses to even see a patient before canceling a procedure because they're "too nervous" should not be in practice. There are many other periodontists in the area who truly care about their patients' comfort, emotional well-being, and pain management. This office does not. Please save yourself the stress, frustration, and money -- go somewhere where you'll actually be treated like a human being.

His dental assistant that preformed the exray was not professional--it hurt like hell when she put the film thingies in my mouth! Then, the consultation with Dr Morris lack interest and was hurried. He quickly told me his office would contact the insurance and he would call to discuss the treatment. He ended our conversation telling me it would be a long wait. I NEVER heard from his office. That is until three weeks ago when I received a call telling me I had an outstanding balance of $250. I explained that I have never received an accounting from them, etc. etc. and ask them to send me a bill. This morning--three maybe four--weeks after the initial call I contacted them asking where the bill is. Once again they claim they sent bills to me. I HAVE NEVER ONCE RECEIVED AN ACCOUNTING of a balance owed. NOR HAS anyone EVER called me about treatment.

I called their office and was serviced as an emergency visit. The dentist and all her staff were patient with me during the visit. The receptionist was nice as well. Review for Aspen Dental - Chipman Road, Lee's Summit…read more I had dentures made here in September 2025 and paid in full at that time. Last week, one of the front teeth fell out, and I was absolutely horrified. I contacted the office the next day to ask about the warranty or any type of coverage for the work, and was told they would not fix or help in any way unless I paid an additional $600 -- despite the fact that I have a receipt showing a zero balance and have never received a bill from them. I also have dental insurance, but the office informed me that this repair would not be covered. I was very disappointed with the lack of accountability and customer service. I believe a business should stand behind its work, especially when a product fails so soon after being completed. I'm sharing my experience to help others make an informed decision. Based on my situation, I would recommend proceeding with caution or exploring other dental providers who stand by the quality of their work and value their patients' trust.

Every 3-6 months expect a totally new staff and the office manager, I believe her name is Karen(how ironic!) but I've never seen a more unprofessional, uneducated Manager, a warm body. Not sure about the other locations, I've heard some good things about Aspen Dental as a whole but this location in Lee's Summit should be closed down. Gives the company a bad name!! I would give 0 stars but you have to give at least 1!!!!!!
