He took the time to talk through everything with me and even had a specialist come in to discuss how they safely manage patients with sleep apnea during sedation. That bedside discussion really helped put me at ease and made me feel confident moving forward. On the day of surgery, the entire team was incredibly professional and reassuring. I remember getting the IV and oxygen, and then the next thing I knew the procedure was finished. I vaguely remember hearing voices toward the end, but I don't even recall waking up--it just felt like I was suddenly there again. The surgeon and staff were outstanding and made what I expected to be a stressful experience extremely smooth and comfortable. If you're nervous about oral surgery or anesthesia, especially with sleep apnea concerns, I highly recommend them

I wanted an orthodontic viewpoint on a solution prior to the crowns and veneers flying. I chose to seek out the expertise from this group of Doctors as my son had his braces done with them & they were great. Kathy at the front desk was always pleasant too. Nancy, assistant to Dr. Beth Blackwell Nill began by asking me questions, listening and looking in my mouth. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Nill came in to meet with me. Same routine- asked questions, listened to my thoughts and examined my mouth. She discovered broken porcelain in between the two teeth and advised a more simple and cost effective solution to my problem would be to have another crown replaced rather than go down the path of orthodontia. Her passion for her work is clear and she has experience to back her expertise. She also gave me some great information about shading with respect to veneers and crowns, going to the labs and strongly encouraged me to make sure I was extremely satisfied with the work. When expressing my enormous gratitude to them for their help, they both assured me they were happy to help and even said I could call with more questions. Bottom line, I know their work is excellent as my son had his braces done here. After my consultation with Nancy & Dr. Blackwell Nill this morning, I have immense respect for their honesty, love of their work and product, and willingness to help. Dr. Haggerty charged me $275 to tell me that he won't take my case b/c I am a high risk patient. He…read moredidn't say I shouldn't have the procedure done; he advised me to see a surgeon who would perform it. He didn't want to oversee my care because of the possibility that there would be complications and, basically, he didn't want to deal with those complications down the line. Also, they billed me under the Delta Dental code 9310 so they could charge the full rate, rather than D0140, under which I could have gotten the discounted DD rate. I'm sure he's a skilled surgeon, but he prioritizes $$ over patient's well-being.

Dr. Morris and his staff made no effort to ensure I was comfortable or cared for -- they completely dismissed my anxiety and concerns, and instead of helping, made me feel like a burden. A doctor who refuses to even see a patient before canceling a procedure because they're "too nervous" should not be in practice. There are many other periodontists in the area who truly care about their patients' comfort, emotional well-being, and pain management. This office does not. He quickly told me his office would contact the insurance and he would call to discuss the treatment. He ended our conversation telling me it would be a long wait. I NEVER heard from his office. That is until three weeks ago when I received a call telling me I had an outstanding balance of $250. I explained that I have never received an accounting from them, etc. etc. and ask them to send me a bill. This morning--three maybe four--weeks after the initial call I contacted them asking where the bill is. Once again they claim they sent bills to me. I HAVE NEVER ONCE RECEIVED AN ACCOUNTING of a balance owed. NOR HAS anyone EVER called me about treatment.

I had dentures made by aspen dental in lees summit in September last year paid premium price for…read morethem with a 5 year adjustment just called and was told I would have to pay for an evaluation I don't need an evaluation just an adjustment wish I had read some of the reviews on Aspen before I went there it's not the money it's the principle I paid more so I didn't have to worry about it later will not pay them anything I will find a reputable dental office and have new dentures made first they charged me 250. after for a check up which I paid and their ad said no charge if you didn't have dental insurance so that was also a lie. I had to go back today due to breaking a tooth. Not only did Dr. Gleich fix the tooth, she was able to make and place the permanent crown. Every procedure has been explained. I've been able to see all my x rays and make informed decisions about my dental care plan. Comfy chairs in the waiting room and excellent coffee selections. Becky who works at the front desk and schedules appointments is wonderful to work with and was able to get me the next day after I called due to a cancellation. Oh, and their website, it is interactive and it works! I was able to do all my new patient paperwork and submit it before the day of my first appointment.
