Wonderful service and delicious Italian meals, and you can also get gluten-free dishes.

What in the Chef-Boy-Ardee is this? This is our second try of Nik's. The first time, my food was inedible, this wasn't much better. The crust was decent though. It was mediocre at best. Service was okay, I think she was new, so no big deal, she did fine. It was my birthday, should have chosen a different place for lunch. read more

We have eaten at NIK's a number of times. The food has always been good to excellent. We went New Year's Eve and we were a little skeptical but it turned out to be a wonderful experience. We were seated a little late because the people with a 5:00 pm reservation were still chatting and drinking wine at 7:00. When we were finally seated the service was excellent and the food was very good. A great way to start the new year! read more

The food was amazing; I love their chicken Marsala! It's a nice cozy atmosphere to enjoy your meal

This was a nice place with nice people but not anymore. Waitress was unfriendly and kind of rude. I left and went to Mario's instead.

BLUF: Local vibes and food with little-to-no flavor. We came here after getting a few recommendations from friends. We wouldn't go back. Food (2/5): We ordered the fettuccine alfredo and a beef special dish. The fettuccine alfredo tasted like boxed mac n cheese, and the beef special dish was bland. I had to add pepper into my fettuccine alfredo to give it any taste other than cheese. Ambiance (2/5): It was pretty loud in there; the table in the center of the place seemed to be where locals sat and didn't help keep other patrons there with their very vulgar conversation about strip clubs. It made us feel quite uncomfy since we weren't expecting that kind of talk at dinner. I only put this in the review because the staff members were encouraging the table's conversation by joining in with their own experiences. The place gives off very local dining vibes. It's a small place with some booth and table seating. A bit dark on the lighting and has slippery floors. It's supposed to be authentic Italian food, but it seemed extremely Americanized. I was disappointed in this since my mother is Italian, so I grew up with really good food. When I heard that the owner was Italian, I thought it would be a great local place to get food like my mom's, but I was wrong. Service (3/5): Our server was good. He wasn't the most attentive, as we didn't get water refills, but he was considerate when I needed more time on the menu. You can order carry-out food. We didn't do that, obviously, but we saw quite a few people doing that. TLDR: Local vibes and food with little-to-no flavor. read more

The food is fantastic. Little taste of local Italian back home. Reminds of all the little businesses where I grew up. All the people are super nice and I would highly recommend. read more

Good local Italian food with family friendly owner and staff from my home town in Long Island. Trust them for recommendations.

Great local restaurant in Berryville, VA. The food is locally prepared and this is not a chain restaurant. The food is very high quality and never disappoints. You can have a homemade pizza or an Italian dish or a great steak. The steaks here are some of the highest quality's. Aged and cut in house, they are remarkable. I had the Aged 18oz ribeye and once again, it did not disappoint. Great bar and would recommend a visit to NIKs. read more

Love this place. Good old-school Italian, reminds me of the restaurants I went to growing up in Brooklyn. Nothing fancy, but good food and good friendly service. Great value. Definitely now on my regular list. read more

Love this place! It makes me feel like I'm back home in Cleveland. Consistently good food, prices, and service!

Terrible service. I ordered an entree and it came out completely wrong. Rude staff but the bartender (Ben) was particularly unprofessional. Not only was he unfamiliar with the menu but seemed indifferent when the order came out wrong. The owners, especially being in a small town, should really take careful consideration when bringing in staff. I do not recommend anyone come here! I only left a star because I was required to do so. read more

Now open on Monday's 4:30-9:00. Pizza is amazing dough made fresh everyday as well has there Italian bread.

I loved their food on berryville avenue location(closed) and decided to try their berryville location. I went on a busy Friday night to get take out. I got the spaghetti with meatballs. The spaghetti sauce was a little on the bitter side. My interaction with the staff was minimal but they were very polite. read more

My wife and I had dinner at Nik's this week and it was terrific. It was our first time at this restaurant. Our waitress, Mercedes, was very friendly and helpful with our questions on the menu items. We had the Burratta for a starter. It was amazing. One of the chef's recommended a wine for our dinner and it was perfect. I loved my Chicken Parmigiano over angel hair pasta. My wife loved her Classic Alfredo with shrimp. The restaurant has a cozy environment and decorated nicely for Christmas. We will definitely return to Nik's again. read more

What a pleasant surprise! Food is here extraordinarily good. I had lasagna and my wife had Chicken Parmesan. So many layers of flavor. I can't wait to come back and try other things. The French Dip went by and my mouth watered, then their pizza! Oh my. Also, they had steaks. Only drawback is the seating is a little odd and outdated. The person behind me could be still and I felt it every time. Plenty of parking. Would definitely go back. read more

Ok, you may ask why four and not five stars. For me, the weak link is ambiance. But that's it. Service is fantastic. The staff are always very nice and helpful. Always warmly greeted by management, even when waiting for a pizza to go. The food is delicious (try the white pizza) and portions are generous. When dining in, I always have more than enough for a "to go" box. If in Berryville, stop by and check it out. read more

First time trying this restaurant, even though I have passed by it plenty of times. Wasn't sure what to expect since it's hard to locate a recent/current menu. So there are probably way more options than I saw on the version of menu that I looked at. That being said, I had the white pizza (no ricotta)and a Caesar salad. The white pizza was as good and the salad surprised me even more. The salad stayed crisp even though I didn't eat it until dinner time later. I would go back again. read more

NIKs is without peer outside of New York. Lovely people who know and care about providing outstanding food. You can't get a bad meal if you tried - everything is simply sublime. These folks understand a fundamental truth about superior restauranteering- that is provide high quality food, and know what you are. Too many restaurants try to be everything to everyone and they fall prey to the fate of all hybrids- ur not great at anything. Not NIKs! They serve a handful of outstanding dishes plus their amazing pizza. read more

I would say worth the try but not my next go to spot for lunch....Eeeeee.....nothing over the top. Pretty average if you ask me. Wasn't bad wasn't great just a meal. I got a 10" pizza costed a little less than $10.00 so I guess good price. Ordered Pepperoni and Pineapple, would haves hoped to see same amount of pineapples pepperoni. Tasted okay. I may come back but Mario's I think is still better as to the food. Thanks for the lunch. read more

NIK is a great addition to Clarke County's restaurant scene. Great Italian food, including great pizza, is most welcome as are the restaurant's aged beef entrees. The full service bar is an improvement over the Winchester location (which is hard to improve upon). I strongly recommend NIK read more

We ordered carry out a few months ago. The food was ok, definitely nothing special. Thre prices were high for the area and for the amount of food you get.
