My daughter ordered a pair of shoes online for store pick up at the Virginia Beach Town Center location. The email specifically states to have a government photo ID and the order QR code available when picking up the shoes. I went in with my ID and the QR code and they refused to give me the item because I was not my daughter. Again, the email states to have A GOVERNMENT PHOTO ID, not the purchaser's government photo ID. They said that I needed to facetime my daughter with her ID and I let them know that she was driving. I was able to get a picture of her ID and was still refused the pick up. I proceeded to get the manager involved, logged into my American Express account and showed her the charge on MY credit card for these shoes. Again, they refused to give me the order that I paid for. Eventually after much unneeded back and forth, my daughter was able to facetime and I finally got the shoes. Funny enough, they were so focused on seeing her ID even though she used my credit card for the purchase that they never scanned the email QR code that I had available. So, are they just choosing what processes they want to and don't want to follow? I thought scanning the QR code was mandatory to obtain the pick up. This is terrible customer service for someone who had ample proof of the purchase that they made. I will never shop here again and have no need to purchase any Nike items in the future. read more
