We just happened to walk by, and they were released within the hour. The limit was one pair per person. Although we couldn't try them on and the purchase was non-refundable, the experience was still exciting. Nike's new store has opened in the old Nordstrom. It boasts two floors with Women's on the main floor and men's on the second floor. The floorplan is very spacious and they have a lot of merchandise on offer. There were many employees around the store available to help. I didn't purchase anything today, however, Nike tends to be good value for money especially if you manage to grab something on sale! read more

Wow what outstanding service I got by Selena. I can't rave enough about how wonderful my experience was dealing at this location. I was looking for Nike blazers in white which are hard to find these days due to their popularity. I called in this location spoke to Selna who was kind enough to check it for me and keep one aside. She sent me a prepay link and I was able to pay and secure my pair. During this process she managed to constantly be in touch me with with all the updates via texting. I collected the shoe in the afternoon-it was a super easy process my pair was lying down with my name and info and I was absolutely shocked and pleased to know what amazing customer service they rendered me considering the fact this location was busy like a fish market. Everything about this store is the best located downtown off young St right in the Prime areas and being in the Eaton Centre was easy when I worked in the Cadillac Fairview building next door. I enjoyed meeting New People and seeing all the latest fashions. This is certainly one of the Best places to shop. I love and hate Nike. Let's start with that. I love Nike because of their designs. The Swoosh. The comfort. It is a good quality brand. The look. That's my pros list. The cons? You overpay because its Nike. The shoe selection here is actually pretty low compared to any other store in the mall like Footlocker, Foot Action, or Champs. There's very few sale items. And its not actually a Nike store. Wait.....what? Yep, its not a Nike store. Its a store that sells exclusively Nike stuff and has a partnership with them...but they're not actually owned by Nike. Yep, confusing. Side rant: On the subject of just Nike as a brand, I'm disappointed in them. Its a pandemic and people are out of jobs and losing money, and you decide to inflate your already high $145 price tag on Air Max 1's and 90's by $25-30. That's offensive. Anyone ever try and reach Nike customer care any other way then by phone? Good luck. And even by phone? You'll be on hold for awhile. This happened to me when they had shipped a pair of shoes that were mismatched but the same model and size, just a different run. I noticed because one had a much bigger Nike Air on the back than the other. Their response? Can't help you. A multi-billion dollar company that just charged $90 (they were on sale, but are normally $145) for a pair of kicks that cost them $10 or less to make, they ship a mismatched pair, and nada. Nice. Appreciate that. Again, keeping things transparent, I'll be totally honest in saying I still love and buy Nike. But rarely from this store and not without a chip on my shoulder about the shoddy customer care. This store itself though is fine. Most of the staff have been pretty nice. I am obsessed with lululemon, but once in a while I want to change things up. Seeing as white Jordan shoes were trending and my daughter Britannica, 13, didn't have any, I decided it was time to visit Nike! Upon entrance I was surrounded by untamed adolescents who have clearly no respect for their elders, luckily staff member Sarah (Sorry, I forgot her name, might not be Sarah) came to the rescue and got them away from me! I ended up spending a total of $784.99 that day, not too different from my weekly lululemon trips, and decided that Nike was amazing! Speedy check-out and staff help available at all times, this company is on a roll! No wonder they are so successful! read more

From the outside, this looks just like a regular Nike store as they have a large Swoosh. However, inside they just sell running stuff. When I walked in, I was not greeted by any staff member, even though they were just standing around. While I looked around, I just felt ignored by them. While I do frequently run, I really did not find anything that good. They had running shorts, but they seemed overpriced. They also sell running shoes, but I was not interested as I currently have a pair of Mizunos that I only use for running. I wished this store sold more classic Nike products like Nike Elite socks or Nike Elite pants. Still, this store is really small and results in it being really crowded. Altogether, this store is small with a lack of good items and unhelpful staff. If in the Eaton Centre Mall again, I would not return. read more

After spending more than 1 K at this Nike location in less than 3 months, having a profile in their system and expecting follow up for coming events and a certain high standard for customer service, how surprised was I when I called today to know when is the FRIENDS & FAMILY sales. The lady on the phone told me that it happened last week and I missed it ! I asked her how come I didn't received any emails, or text message or mail to let me know about it ? She answered that "we don't send any of that, and you should come into the store every day not to miss it ". Obviously, how stupid am I, I should've come everyday not to miss it ! My bad. My husband visited the store 10 days ago and the " manager " told him the sales will be first week of December. Why lying to your customers by giving them the wrong date ? I work as a Manager and the least I can do for my regular clients is to reach out to them for privilege, what the point of having a clients base then ? After visiting the store many times, finding the set up and standards bad, store never clean, so many sizes are missing, staff don't have any product knowledge and ignore you, lack of professionalism. Who manage that ? Is that a flagship store ? Seriously... Well, I'm gonna spend my money and buy NIKE at Foot Action in front of the store, or Foot Lockers, or Champs... At least, they let me know about special sales and they don't lie about dates. read more

The store has been recently renovated and now focuses on running products only. There's lots of staff on hand and seem knowledgeable. Store's management has created artifically line-ups for shoes within the store itself by dividing the store effectivelly in half with a gate in the middle of the store. This was justified by creating "a world class experience" yet the only thing that they have created was unhappy customers who have not been able to access the merchandise at a normal pace and flow and had to wait, wait and wait. When objecting to this setup, the store personnel was behaving extremelly rudely and insulting. Quite a disapointing experience. Will most likely avoid this store going forward. read more

There USED TO BE a wonderful Nike store in Yorkville: a large store with a large selection - but now this seems to be the ONLY Nike store location in Toronto. And it's SMALL. Did I mention how small it is? I spent hours and hours and hours trying shoes for comfort in the last few months, and found a pair that I really like that are very comfortable at this Nike store, but I wanted a few more pair, so I thought I'd try to save a few dollars because Nike.com had the shoes on sale. Well - that's when my headache began. Did you know that the unhelpful, inflexible sales people and managers at the store REFUSE to even let you EXCHANGE a BRAND NEW, UNWORN pair of shoes bought on Nike.com in the store - even when they have the exact same shoe in stock - in the same box - and even if you have the receipt and the shoes are @#$@%$# UNWORN - I mean NEVER even WALKED IN! (and you've got the boxes and paper you stick in the shoe, etc etc) So here I am stuck with two pair of shoes that SAY they are the same size as the ones I tried and bought in the store - and they are the same model and size - but they do NOT fit. I've spent close to $800 on 4 pair of shoes, and two of the pair are NOT THE SAME SIZE as the first pair that I bought that are marked as the same size - and they ARE the same model of shoe! So I just spent an hour calling the store, Nike Canada, Nike.com - and I've also got a (*(&^^*(+ headache at the same time. Why the @#^@$# when you buy shoes on Nike.com, can't you exchange them in the store for the exact same shoe in a slightly different size - if you HAVEN'T worn them - and if they are BRAND NEW and UNWORN! This is a pain in the @$$ So now I have to box up two pair of shoes and go to the post office - and I have to find a box to put the two shoe boxes in, and then I have to WAIT two weeks for a refund - and then I have to go through buying the shoes all over again. @#$$ you Nike. Why the @#$^%$@ can't I just exchange the shoes in your store? So this store operates as it's own protected fiefdom where they protect themselves from competition from Nike.com by REFUSING to help you out by only EXCHANGING absolutely brand new, unworn spotless shoes with identical ones they have in stock - only slightly larger in size. I visited Nike on Saturday and after reading mixed reviews I must say my experience at the Nike store was fantastic very friendly staff that made sure i was able to find everything I was looking for. They had a great selection of track suits for both men and woman as well as a bunch of great spring/summer gear! That's the great thing about marketing, you can make an average product look superior, and the masses will come, just like here, it was packed like some Boxing Day sale but none. A smaller store but looks new, didn't see anything much exciting on the men's stuff on the right, their shoes in the back wall. Their latest running model, the Flyknit---really? Sure, it's superlight, like the sales guy said, it's a 'minimalist'...because there's virtually no support. Look at the pic, see how easy to bend the heel fabric--not padding---inwards. yup, that's what I'm looking for when I'm pounding the pavement for 45 min to an hour. Hello there. Not this location in general, but, the whole Nike shipping is poor quality. Yes, the shoes and clothing are amazing, but, the shipping is just outrageous. I ordered a pair of shoes for my daughter in March, it's May and they have yet to arrive. We have received a conformation email, and a set date for them to come. May 1-May 14. It is May 15. They are not here. Tell me why they are not here!?!? Yes, as I will say once again, they are good quality but the shipping is just so atrocious.
