There are parking garages nearby but street parking directly in front of the store is difficult. The store reps were very helpful and greeted me right away. Since all the reps in the front were busy, one rep called someone from the back. She did 2 measurements of my feet than tried different versions of insoles in my size and different shoe sizes to help me make my choice. It's one of the oldest pubs in the city! But now it's VINTAGE DEPOT. I was surprised with the great organization and selection at this store. I don't think I've been to either of the other Vintage Depot locations in the city but I hope they're as awesome as this one. Clothes are organized into categories/sections and then by SIZE and COLOUR. I've never seen a thrift store that does this. Bravo! TONS of shoes, including designer. TONS of vintage Adidas and other sportswear. TONS of purses, hats (new and used) and uniforms (military, factory, coveralls and professional onesies of all kinds). This would be a fabulous place to source costumes for Halloween, costume parties or theatre/film productions. Staff seemed to be mostly young and male, all were extremely helpful and friendly.

Though most designs are modern, it does have a bit of a retro vibe. The stores are exactly like her brand. Golden accents frame up the bold colours of emeralds and rubies on the pieces. Sometimes you'll spot a cutesy saying on a bag or a cat face on an item. Most days the store is a calm spot but during the winter sales... watch out for the older ladies just swarming the store because of the 50% off everything sale. Service here is mostly solid where they have 3 people trying to help people find sizes or pull items for a closer look. I find the style not quite mine but it's all very wearable with easy tunics, simple flowy pieces, or a figure skimming sheath. The prices are above the average piece but I do find the material quality much nicer. Fit and finish is a step up and if you do find something you like, it's an easy nice wear. I do have to mention that the sizing is not as forgiving if you're petite. What was described as figure skimming and above the knees... well, it went a good inch below and perhaps almost 2 inches too big in other spots. Unfortunately, the suit the groom purchased for him did not fit and my husband was in a bind to find one worthy to wear as best man with only five days notice. I was really uneasy about going to a big box store thinking about all the mistakes that could happen with alterations or lost suits + impersonal service. I came across this yelp page and saw that the owner had helped another Californian out in a jam with overnight service so we called him straight away on Monday morning. He said it wouldn't be a problem and to come on in to get measured. We were very nervous about the timing, but sure enough, Ashraf got it done for us with plenty of time to spare. He carefully selected a suitable black suit and started meticulously measuring away. Afterwards, he called the warehouse and was able to pick up the materials the same day. Ultimately after spending 25 minutes in the store, Ashraf said we would be able to pick it up within 2 days and not to worry. True to his word and much to our relief, we picked up my husband's perfectly tailored black suit on Wednesday afternoon. Ashraf was so helpful, reliable, and friendly. Wardrobe for men is truly a full wardrobe solution store. I also thought they were very reasonably priced for such full service and great selection of attire. I had a really important investor business trip to Toronto from California and realized at the LAX…read moreairport gate just prior to boarding that I had left my suit bag in my car at a hotel airport parking. I called a work colleague and asked that he research the best stores to purchase a suit for my next day business meeting that began at 9 am. The problem that I faced was my flight was going to arrive in Toronto airport just after 7 pm and all the stores would be pretty much closed by the time I got to Downtown area. As soon as my plane landed in Toronto I turned my phone on and saw that my colleague recommended Wardrobe for Men via text. He said that he had spoken to Ashraf the owner and instructed me to call Ashraf when I arrived at the store which I did. Ashraf came and opened the store around 830 pm. The store had a wide range of great quality suits to select from and I purchased an excellent quality navy colored suit made in Canada. Ashraf fitted me to the suit beautifully but the issue was that it needed to be altered for arm and leg length and it was already 830 pm. Ashraf was able to reach his alterations person after many calls and begged him to do an alteration for me at the late hour. The guy agreed and Ashraf called his son to come and pick up my suit and deliver to the alterations person. After the son came after 30 minutes Ashraf's wife kindly pressed and ironed my suit and shirt. He then asked his son to take me to my hotel which was 10 minutes away which by the time I arrived was after 10 pm. I got some dinner and went to bed and my meeting the next day was a success. I have never experienced such par excellence service literally in my life. I will always be grateful and remember Ashraf each time I wear the suit. I don't like to write review generally but I want to share this amazing experience.

When my friend from grade 7 and her husband had tied the knot several years ago, they wore matching Blue Jays jerseys (classic white home ones) to officially mark that they were a married couple. I went to a Jays game a few month back as part of a work event. I visited the Jays store. I found lots of jerseys. They were expensive starting at $300. I ended up getting a t-shirt that was more my price point. The Shopping Channel is running a sale on Jays apparel. There's a 15% discount. I found a jersey that I liked. It was $249. It was still ridiculously expensive for me to splurge. My goal: Find a Jays jersey that doesn't break the bank. I did a search. I found SVP Sports selling the same Jays jersey for $159. Nice! I didn't buy it online. I saw that this store had many jerseys available. I decided to pay this store a visit last Friday night. The SVP Sports store used to be at Woodside Square. It has since moved to a larger location at McCowan Road and Milner Avenue. It's in a plaza with Winners, Starbucks, Mr Sub, and more. It was raining. I parked fairly close to the building. I then walked into the store. Happiness was seeing powder blue jerseys on my right. They were indeed authentic Blue Jays jerseys. Yay! The original price was $200. It was indeed marked down to $159. There was a further reduction. This jersey was going for $79. One word: Wow! I wanted a jersey without any player's number on the back. I tried on two different sizes. As I was trying one of them on, a female sales associate asked if I needed any help. I let her know that I was okay trying on one of the jerseys. She was being helpful. I frankly wanted to be left alone to figure out my size. Sometimes, it's better to let the customer tell you whether she needs assistance and to leave her be. I found the jersey of my dreams. I was elated! There are change rooms at this store. I didn't need one, as it was easy to try on a jersey over my t-shirt that I was wearing. This store has a lot of merchandise that is heavily discounted. I saw NHL caps of all Canadian teams. It hit me that I don't own a Winnipeg Jets cap. I got one for $19. Unheard of! I lined up at the checkout. There were cameras everywhere. I suppose that prices are so cheap on sports clothing, caps, backpacks, and more that theft is an issue. I got a nice woman at the checkout. She asked if anyone had helped me. I said no. She apologized. She didn't need to. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was great. She let me know what the score was between the Jays and Mariners. It was game 5 in Seattle, with the Mariners leading by 1. Sadly, the Jays lost this game. However, the team ended up winning the entire series. I love my jersey and cap. They are comfy to wear and I didn't break the bank. I'd return for the deals. They are great. The quality of my purchases was excellent. (387)

If you do want something for casual shinny hockey maybe fine, as the price is good. I would not say it feels like shopping at Value Village, but you did need to go through a lot of merchandise to find something that you might want to pay for it. Security measure here is quite high.
