It feels like this DSW has cut corners to the point it has really lost its magic for us. Not a…read morefantastic selection, and the prices just don't seem to be any better than we can get online or elsewhere. And to make it worse. After spending nearly $300 with them, they then asked us: "would you like to buy a bag, or carry out? We don't offer bags anymore." Hmmm, okayyyyy. After watching my wife drop her loose pieces, we stopped in another store, where they felt so bad they gave us two bags. Now...which of these retail stores do you think will get our loyalty next time? DSW used to be a hip, customer-focused, deal-infused place to go vs. other retailers. I think they are trying to cut their way to growth--never a good strategy, and we are feeling it as customers. Pretty sure this is our last visit to this store for long time, if ever. Hope you enjoy the $.05 you saved on bags.

The store is very well organized and clean, the staff provides exceptional customer service although there is a tendency to up sale if the opportunity presents itself. I personally feel it's important to stick to my agenda and I'm usually in and out of here in a matter of minutes, this sometimes requires me to be direct when it comes to giving out my phone number or email address or refusing to sign up for their rewards program. The Products: Although I think the value is good, I do a lot of walking and these shoes break down a little sooner than I would like but it's not a deal breaker for me the pricing allows me to replace my shoe more often than most. I will continue to shop here or purchase this brand online - this outlet mall allows me to walk directly to the store front without having to do a lot of window shopping and allows me to avoid visiting the old enclosed stuffy malls...

Buyer beware: This is one of the only dance stores around this area, I have heard, and I was…read moresurprised to find out that there is a $10 shoe fitting fee AFTER trying on some dance shoes. The woman in the store failed to tell me this before I tried on the shoes, and only told me after the fact, essentially forcing me to buy the pair of shoes that I was on the fence about. I ended up buying the shoes because I did not want to pay the $10 fee, and knew I was going to use them eventually. The shoes are fine, but I felt so violated and manipulated as a customer that it made me not want to return. Regarding the fee, there was no posted sign or notice in sight. Maybe this is a common occurrence in dance stores, but this was not a pleasant surprise, and I know the FTC and BBB will not be happy to hear about this deception and misrepresentation of pricing.
