They have held up extraordinarily well and the few small touch-ups we've needed for some hinge tightening and a cosmetic request were addressed immediately and professionally. They had everything done on time and on budget. There was a misunderstanding about the drawer front style and even though it was my mistake in proofing the order form, Doug's team replaced them. As far as the design aspect, I brought in several photos of cabinets and a hood design (a hood from a multi-million dollar home, no less) that I liked and the guys had such an impressive can-do attitude. They executed the hood and other designs just like the photo. The end product is beautiful and we would recommend Traditional Wood Builders time and time again.

It has been over 12 months since they started on the remodel and almost 2 years since initial…read morecontact and they are still not done!!!! The completed work is no better than if we'd gone the DIY route. First we had to wait for 6 months, they claimed this was so that they could have all the materials "on-hand" but that was a lie. The cabinet doors for the Kitchen are still on backorder. We would go days and weeks without seeing anyone or they would come for an hour or two and then leave again, once a pause in the work was two weeks so he could take his wife on vacation. The work also stopped for over a week, because the plumber they used was sick and didn't even try to get another. They sent a plumber to finish the install on the garbage disposal, when we needed an electrician to hook up the power. We had them paint in the Living room, they painted over drywall anchors instead of filling the holes. Where the ceiling needed to be touched up, they put up some joint compound without making any effort to match the texture or its incomplete They reused some trim after putting down new flooring in the entryway, which would be fine if it was in any way attached to the wall or floor and not just sitting there. Also there is no trim at the top of the stairs from the entryway to the lower level, so the end of the carpet is sticking out. To cut corners, the flooring under the stove doesn't go all the way back to the wall. We took them up on some "temporary" cabinet doors, since they had been at it for 8-9 months at that point, and the doors that we had picked out were still on backorder. I had to rehang one that fell off, and another came off today. The cabinet above the refrigerator looks like it goes all the way back to the wall, but when you open it is only 6-8 inches deep. To this day there's a small corner we can't use because it has several buckets of paint and joint compound in it. I could go on, and on, but I think you get the point. My advice is stay away from these jokers.

They make great designs and do great work at times but the way they treat their staff especially in the shop is not good.
