He started going through it and instantly called out about 8-10 small fixes and 1 bigger one that could help it work. He also pointed out that we had the wrong connector cables (thanks wasted Amazon purchase). He had it for a couple of days, called me back with a quote and timeline to complete the work. He then called me back a week earlier than expected and said it was good to go. When I came in to pick it up, he spent about an hour with me showing all the things we did but also all the functionality the player had that we didn't know about. He answered about 10 (what's this piece for) dumb without getting annoyed with me or kicking me out, which he was probably well within his rights to do at that point. I brought it home, hooked it up and it's been kicking butt for 2 days now. We can't stop playing music in the house and it's probably time for a used record store run. All in all, perfect service and communication. I cant speak for a couple negative reviews on here expect that this guy is old school. He does what he says he'll do and in return I think he expects his customers to actually reciprocate communication and transparency with him ie be on time, understand that all these machines are 60 years old and nuanced, etc. Thanks Dr. Dan! Michael, the owner, 'fixed' my phone screen and left its unusable. I couldn't take photos , make calls, and the touch was not calibrated. I messaged michael a few times to get the problem fixed and he either a. Did not respond to me b. Tell me he'll come at some point in the day and did not show up. I understand he runs a business but I can't sit around all day day with a phone that doesn't work that I use to talk to people I work with. After no luck I went to get a new phone because my bosses were not happy I couldn't answer the phone. The guy at the Verizon store informed me that my account and Phone are blacklisted from Verizon because the pins on the eSIM were bent/damaged that indicates attempts to jail break the phone....
