As this is a high end boutique, don't expect to get a 5 for $20 deal. Instead you'll come away wearing a bra that actually fits (and lasts), makes you look and feel amazing and compliments your taste regardless of your chest size and shape. They have everything from everyday bras to fancy frillies, which also include matching underwear. What lingerie store would be complete without lounge and leisure wear? Night Owl Imports has these as well as bridal, baby dolls, undergarment accessories, peignoirs and nightgowns and boudoir apparel. Night Owl Imports hasn't forgotten about the men and offers a nice selection of mens undergarments and lounge/leisure wear too. Night Owl is one very beautiful but one very expensive lingerie store! It shouldn't come as a surprise though considering its neighbors in Manulife Place. This store is full of absolutely stunning lingerie that is also classy and very feminine. Unfortunately, I found the customer service not quite as stunning. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and found no one else in there which is why I was so surprised that no one was exactly rushing to help me. I wandered around for a couple minutes and felt that I was being "watched". I really couldn't figure it out and it was unfortunate because this is truly a nice store I would have liked to frequent more, but now I am not so sure. I didn't like my experience at Night Owl. I walked in on a recent evening looking for some bridal lingerie (both for my dress and the night). I didn't see any employees and I had browsed through half the store before two ladies came out from the back and said hello. However, they proceeded to ignore me completely and go over to one section of the wall and review the merchandise there. I was picking up different items (such as the Nubra) and looking curiously at them but they didn't turn back to me once. They never even asked if I needed any help. I would have asked for help if I was genuinely interested in something, but nothing caught my eye - I found the selection of stuff just meh. They do seem to have a lot of nice PJs but that wasn't what I was looking for. They had a few nice lacy bras but not for a wedding, and no corsets/bustiers/shapewear. There was a small case at the cash with bridal items, but only a few, and honestly, very cheap-looking (though I'm sure it wasn't). I feel like this is a store geared at women much older than myself, and given the complete lack of customer service, I would not come back here. read more

Like all the stores in Manulife Place, Night Owl is expensive. This is a nice lingerie shop that doesn't feel tacky in the least. Their merchandise seemed very womanly, sexy, and comfortable. The pajamas they had looked and felt so comfortable, and some of them had cute patterns, but they cost over a hundred dollars. Lacy panties also cost over a hundred dollars, but I could probably rationalize the pajama purchase over the underwear purchase. The bras were very expensive too. I like the nylons they sold here. Some of them had really nice designs on them. Most of them cost around $27, which I'd actually consider paying for an amazing pair of nylons. It just sucks, when they rip the first time you put them on. They also had other stuff like lip balms, moisturizers, bath suds, and perfumes. Some of these came in very elegant packaging and would make great gifts. This store is pricey, but it's still cheaper than Holt Renfrew. You know those days, when you really need to treat yourself to something expensive? I think Night Owl is the perfect store for that. read more

Expensive, yes. Absolutely. But Night Owl carries very high quality lines and their staff is very knowledgeable. I personally enjoyed the freedom to wander around a bit before getting help with products. To be clear I was greeted as I walked in and was asked if I needed assistance. I didn't have any issues whatsoever with customer service during my visit. I'd like to see slightly more competitive pricing (it's the only thing keeping this from a 5-star rating) but am very happy with my purchase(s) and will shop there again. Went in this afternoon looking for a good fitting, supportive everyday bra after realizing I've been wearing the wrong size for years. The women in the shop were extremely helpful in finding my perfect fit for my style and size! I normally find shopping for bras to be an awkward and uncomfortable activity due to my large chest but this was not at all the case here. Every bra I tried on someone came into the change room to adjust the straps and ensure it was sitting properly. I've never had such great service in a retail environment! The prices were on the higher end but is more then made up for my the quality. In the end I walked out with a beautiful new bra which fits me better then any bra I've ever owned! read more

Night Owl is located right across from Holt Renfrew in Commerce Place mall. This lingerie boutique is great. Bad customer service is what let it and me down. Walking in, me and my mom expected obscene prices (check!) and customer service that would be on the level (no check!). The store itself is gorgeous and lingerie is beautifully displayed. I walked in with the expression of awe on my face which was met with the cold stare of a cutomer service lady. Right then my awe dissipated. To be fair to Night Owl, I must say their selection is beautiful : lingerie, robes and sleepwear are breath taking. I find it impossible to find silk sleepwear anywhere in Edmonton, and Night Owl is the only place so far where I located silk pajamas. I haven't bought it yet, but if I summon the courage to walk into Night Owl and feel the sales ladie's cold stare on me again, I will. read more

One word will describe the lingerie featured at Night Owl Boutique located in Manulife Place~ Exquisite!!!! I had heard about this store from a few friends who have purchased the Hanky Panky lace tanga and I was dying to see what the fuss was all about. I went in on a Saturday afternoon and was in awe at how beautiful everything was presented and how amazing the selection of intimate and casual apparel was. They had silk gowns, pajamas, chemises , robes,etc. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and was offered immediate assistance. I inquired about the Hanky Pankys and was shown a multitude of fabulous colours. I was also professionally fitted for a bra and discovered that I was not at all the size I thought I was. I purchased 3 beautiful bras that made me feel like a million dollars and fit my bust perfectly. They were European imported and GORGEOUS!!!!! I left the boutique wearing one of the bras( I chucked my other one in the garbage). I have to say that shopping at Night Owl was incredibly therapeutic for me. Hmmm. How to write this review....I'm struggling because the product is excellent; the service is challenging. The staff here know their stuff. Once they begin helping you, it's extremely knowledgeable, and personal. They come right into the fitting room and bring you selection after selection until you are perfectly fitted in a quality, long-lasting, perfectly suited piece. However, getting to that point is a bit of a journey. I'm not sure who their target client is. I've bought many things here over a lengthy period of time and I still find it challenging to engage the staff. My advice: go in knowing what you're looking for, be prepared to pay a significant price, and don't be reluctant to ask for help. Asking is really the only way to get what you need in this store. They have many, many sizes and styles that aren't on display. Be forewarned, this can be an intimidating shopping experience due to the service approach but if you're serious you will leave with an exquisite foundation garment that fits properly and lasts a long time. read more

I love this store, but it is way too expensive. I guess that if you buy a bra every few months it is not so bad. This is one of the few stores in Edmonton that carries my size. I went today and I got a very personalized service. I left the store with a $190 bra that is gorgeous, comfortable and most importantly.... the correct size! Night owl imports is a lingerie shop located in Manulife Place. They have a limited selection, especially if you are on the bigger side, but their products are higher end. I will often check them out when they have sales or when I'm looking for something special. I usually come out with a couple of bras around the $50 mark each which isn't bad for a decent quality bra. My issue with Night Owl is their horrid service. The staff are dismissive and snobbish. It's a shame because I love shopping for good lingerie. I've shopped in high end Parisian and British shops overseas and have always loved the experience. Night Owl has ok lingerie brands but not the high end stuff, very limited sizing, and charges ridiculous prices on some of their items when they aren't on sale. But by far their biggest issue, is their customer service. Don't go here. I know how to fit myself and care about my health. It's appalling this store claims that they are a proper lingerie store. If I'm a 36G/H I'm a 36G..yes its true that each bra fits differently but a 40DD to get a larger cup size because you don't carry G's does not cut it even if I have it altered. If you're looking for something to not wear as its not really for you but for your husband and have money to blow great place..but if you're practical and care about your health don't even bother steeping in the place read more
