I definitely find swimsuit shopping frustrating at the best of times but this helped a lot. I was indeed able to buy what I was seeking in the end even if I was much more frustrated than I would prefer being. La Vie En Rose is generally my favourite bra shop, so I usually manage to find bras that suit my preferences when I come here but it's not always easy when it comes to bathing suit shopping so I was quite happy to buy anything at all as my old suits are wearing out.

I need support, but can't see how I can go on spending that kind of money. The lady who helped me was very kind and very helpful. I didn't really know what I was looking for so she went over the different options with me. I was looking for something to wear with a strapless dress and I ended up finding something great! It was supportive and comfortable. But I needed to get a strapless push-up for under a formal. Not only was I NOT made to feel self-conscious or embarrassed, but I was met with empathy, smiles, humour and professionalism. The store was incredibly busy, with a line of ladies waiting for fitting rooms. The associates handled everyone graciously, worked well to run back and forth to get different sizes, moved everyone through quickly and efficiently, and are clearly well trained to ensure proper fittings. Despite just how busy they were, the staff were ALL courteous, attentive and very personable. I didn't think shopping for foundation garments could actually be enjoyable, but Mira, Charity and the other associates at this location have certainly changed my opinion for the better! Thank you!!

I recently went in because they had a shoe table set out with 'Irregular Choice' shoes. For hose who don't know, Irregular Choice are a well known brand in the UK for really unsustainable footwear. Mostly heels and boots but like none you've ever seen before. The shark boots are wild! I love them. Even my mother in law has the cat heels and bag to match. Totally worth checking out. Apparently this is the only place selling them in Edmonton. The shoe and accessory section at the back of the store is fantastic. Everything is a little extra in here even the toll is covered in bling! It's a fun store. Check it out.

I had an…read moreexchange 2 months past the purchase date and drove 3 hours to the closest H&M to exchange (which I was purchasing quite a lot over the $ value of the return). She kept insisting it was her decision to decline the exchange, although the receipt clearly states store credit or exchange past 30 days. I wasn't mad until she decided to answer the phone whilst I was explaining I already knew the terms of returns and exchanges. If the area team reads this message, I strongly recommend you connect with her on how to appropriately address customer complaints and maybe let her read the back of the receipt so she knows what hill to make a stand on. Absolutely abhorrent service.

Apparently they do, and my friend and I went to the H&M in West Ed because we figured the store and selection would be better than South Common. There isn't a huge selection of plus size clothes, but there is a bit, and H&M always has nice basics and trendy pieces too. One thing I love about H&M, no matter what dress size you might be, is the accessories. There are a lot of fun jewellery, purses, scarves, etc and the prices being pretty low it's pretty easy to go overboard and buy quite a bit. Of course the prices being so low this isn't exactly high quality long lasting items, but I tend to break, lose, rip, tear, etc. any accessories I get anyway so spending $12 on a scarf that I'll eventually lose at H&M seems better than spending $100 for a high-end scarf somewhere else. Aside from clothes and accessories the other thing H&M has that I didn't realize they carried are home decor products. This section isn't as big as the regular clothing and accessory section, but there are a variety of fun home decor items you can get, from bedspreads to aprons. West Ed isn't a place I particualrly like to go to, but if I'm here I'll check out H&M again.

There is a sale section at the back of the store - so far back - I thought it was the changing room so get round there and have a peek! 2. There is a hat collection! I grabbed a handful of clothes and the saleslady started a fitting room for me. When I tried them on, I went to grab another size as I'm sure she was busy with other customers. I decided on a suit and went to pay. I was returning a top, so she had to get the manager to ring in my sale. When I was in the line up, I saw at least 2 other sales staff on the other side of the store who were standing around. It would have been nice if I received some service while in the fitting room. For a top, pants, and suit jacket it was just over $200 which is quite reasonable for something I know will last years to come. In this shopping experience the price was good but the service wasn't. It seems to be the trend these days.

They have a wide selection of sizes, from XSmall to 3X. I'm about a size 24/3X and some of their 3X items are almost too big on me, which always makes me smile. The staff treats me with the same respect they give small to average size women, which in my experience doesn't happen often in a plus/regular mix size store. Along with clothing, they have accessories, fun items like socks and sweets, and a wall of personal care items like bath bombs, body cream, hand sanitizer, and aromatherapy. The owner, Laura, is an amazing member of the community who supports other small businesses and brought joy to my family at a rough time when we were missing a loved one. She wasn't asked, she just offered and we will always be thankful to her for her act of kindness.
