Can't quite understand why the wires can't be made to hold up as the material is still good. The brand is Ulla. So for $259 a piece, I question the quality. I need support, but can't see how I can go on spending that kind of money. So while the store itself gives good service, I received absolutely no empathy for my situation, just justification of why the bra didn't last longer!

The lady who helped me was very kind and very helpful. I didn't really know what I was looking for so she went over the different options with me. The clerks were friendly enough and not annoyingly attentive - sometimes shopping at ladies clothing stores that aren't part of a mall can be a bit much because they don't seem to have as much traffic and they hover around you. Not so here.

Mostly heels and boots but like none you've ever seen before. The shark boots are wild! I love them. Even my mother in law has the cat heels and bag to match. Totally worth checking out. Apparently this is the only place selling them in Edmonton. The shoe and accessory section at the back of the store is fantastic. Everything is a little extra in here even the toll is covered in bling! It's a fun store. Check it out.

They have a wide selection of sizes, from XSmall to 3X. I'm about a size 24/3X and some of their 3X items are almost too big on me, which always makes me smile. The staff treats me with the same respect they give small to average size women, which in my experience doesn't happen often in a plus/regular mix size store. Along with clothing, they have accessories, fun items like socks and sweets, and a wall of personal care items like bath bombs, body cream, hand sanitizer, and aromatherapy. The owner, Laura, is an amazing member of the community who supports other small businesses and brought joy to my family at a rough time when we were missing a loved one. She wasn't asked, she just offered and we will always be thankful to her for her act of kindness.

I've loved her since the 80's and I never believed I would find something of hers that would come in my size. Yoink! Yes, it has skulls. And pink, But I love it anyway. The clothes are roomy and comfortable, and I fit a size smaller than I'm accustomed to. The prices are a little high for my liking, but with the Betsy Johnson I expected that. I joined their program because the inner goth is hoping for another Betsy Johnson, and I need to check out what else they have when I can think rationally. The coupons were a nice plus.

So every time I go to WEM I stop in and see what's new on the racks. Turns out my friends and my mom and sisters also love this place. If you are even the slightest bit curvy you will find clothes that fit and are tasteful and you'll feel beautiful. The staff are great too! I fell in love with a long sleeve top with flamingoes on it and bought it! I love that I can usually find my size (that isn't sold out) and just beautifully made clothes for a decent price. I am always impressed at how busy this place is too. I will continue to come back and see what this place has to offer as the seasons change.

I've also shopped online when I was desperate, but between the exchange rate, extreme shipping costs, and the custom fees... you end up paying twice as much. The quality of Torrid's clothing though makes it almost worth it. So when we heard this store would be opening in December, I lost my mind! I chose to attend the grand opening of this location (The first in Edmonton) on December 10th. I was happy with the selection, though the Torrid website still holds much more than what you'll find in store. I expected the prices to be a little higher (thanks to the crappy exchange rate), but was still surprised with how high some of it was. I would put the prices on par with Addition Elle, which is a shame. But be sure to sign up for their emails and you'll get lots of deals and coupons sent to you!! The staff were absolutely fantastic while dealing with a group of excited shoppes. Honestly, they never looked stressed or overwelmed. I don't know what kind of training they go through to be able to handle that so well, but I think everyone should be made to train with them for a day before ever dealing with customers!
