I was very disappointed in the end result of the Custom Made Bathing Suit and found Tamara's end product not professionally done at all. I believe if a business professes to be an expert in their line of work, (the prices she charges indicate that), the end result should reflect this. Her's did not! This was a total waste of my money and time. I hope for Tamara's sake, her skills for her new upcoming work of 'Custom Made Bras' works better for her.

I absolutely loved the experience! The girl who was helping me was very knowledgeable. She did pretty much all the work and very fast. I bought 3 bras she brought to try, they fit perfectly. The toy selection was pretty small and tame (if you know what I mean!)... Mostly standard "Kama sutra" line things and a few party favours. They have a lot of lingerie though and in speciality sizes as well. I didn't buy anything, but would absolutely go back to be fitted and buy some bras. The atmosphere was more relaxed than at other specialty bra stores that I have been too and the store organization was a great deal easier to navigate on your own as well. They even have a little play section for kids, which I thought was nice :)

I've spent 5 years in a European-styled boutique doing fittings & alterations, and have just started sewing bras in the last few years. The selection when you walk in looks impressive, but it would depend on your size. I found the majority of the bra stock to be seamless/moulded cup bras. FYI - these offer the LEAST amount of support. The assortment of bras that they had in my size was minimal. The store seems to have a hodge-podge of items. I saw jewellery, a purse and misc. 'love shop' lotions. After finding the item I needed to go with a gown (lower cut, smooth) I wanted something for day-to-day wear with good support. I was sent out into the shop to shuffle through the racks to find things in my size. It's not my favourite way of doing things, and I can get disappointed when I see something I like, but it's not in my size. I ended up trying on 4 bras that 'met' my criteia (support & light coloured) so I didn't really think that was a great selection. In the end, I purchased the ol' stand by that I tend to pick up every now and again. The price was comparable to what I've paid at other boutiques in the past. The ladies there were friendly enough, but not overly educated on fit. It takes a lot of experience to get good in this business. One thing I didn't like is the reference to my breasts as 'boobs' & 'boobies'. I find it juvenille and unprofessional.

The wires on my previous two bras all snapped after 1 1/2 years of wear, but that's with alternating so I guess I got 8 months of use out of those. Can't quite understand why the wires can't be made to hold up as the material is still good. The brand is Ulla. So for $259 a piece, I question the quality. I need support, but can't see how I can go on spending that kind of money. So while the store itself gives good service, I received absolutely no empathy for my situation, just justification of why the bra didn't last longer!

The lady who helped me was very kind and very helpful. I didn't really know what I was looking for so she went over the different options with me. I was looking for something to wear with a strapless dress and I ended up finding something great! It was supportive and comfortable. If you can't find what you're looking for at a place like La Senza, try Les Saisons.

You can tell the staff members who love the store like I do. The sales are great, all be it cut throat pushy lol but I'm up for the challenge if its something I have to have. I have the iPhone app and regularly check out the new items and have a set plan when I go there. I know what I like and what I don't. I love this store so much words can't explain. They don't usually have any panties in a size small enough for me either. I'm a 32B and a size XS. La Vie En Rose is the only dedicated bra and underwear store in Sherwood Park, save for the specialty one in the mall. They always have cute pjs, though.

It's obvious that the owners Cam and Elise are passionate about what they do and that shines through in every interaction you have with them. Cam, the co-owner/bike mechanic not only does an exceptional job but is always thinking outside of the box. I think without him, I might have had to buy a new bike and lost a very very sentimental bike to me if he did not have this ability. I've read the other reviews for this store and I can comment and add to: pricing of gear: we all know that the prices of gear are expensive. This shop isn't large so it is limited in what it can bring in. If you want a 1000 choices, this isn't the shop for you. They have to be strategic in what they are bringing in and while their goal is to give a variety of price options, what they won't compromise is quality even if that means, at times, there is only a pricey option. I appreciate that as I would rather spend a bit more than spend, in the end, the same amount buying the same thing five times because it fell apart. Customer service / judgment of customers: it doesn't happen, they don't judge you on your appearance. If they say something is very expensive that is just part of the dialogue they are having with you and not them judging you on your situation. Projecting your insecurities onto business owners isn't going to get anyone, anywhere. I do understand that there are some stores that do that but I've seen them interact with people with limited means to people with a lot and they treat everyone the same. To me good value for a store like this is good customer service, excellent bike maintenance/knowing my bike will always be taken care of, honesty, and a balance of very good quality and price. I'm not a person that can buy a carbon fiber bike for example but I know there are many other options for me. You can't go wrong shopping here but you can take your chances elsewhere if you choose. There are some good other shops....and there are many that aren't.

I mentioned I was looking for a good place to get my Road Bike serivced as I had a big ride coming up. He mentioned Element. I went there and from the time I walked in the door 2 years ago to now. I would highly recommend them. Elise and Cam are so informed and Knowledgeable. Elise not even knowing me, and in talks of my ride and possible inclement weather offered to me a Rain Jacket ; no charge and trust I would be back- as I was ordering a special one they did not carry. Came in handy as weather one day of ride was Wet; Windy and single digits. What other shop would do this. Cam also is second to none in his knowledge and ability on the mechaincs of the BIkes. I have had mine set up at times from other shops - who are good, but always something not quite right. Toke them to Cam and top notch. and Reasonably priced. Did not over sel on parts not needed as one shop did it still did not have set up. I am into second season on the one bike with now close to 1000km and everything is perfect still. Cam and Elise also take the time and like to talk to a person. I could go on, but as you can see, I am Happy with Element and Highly Recommend them.
